The SpaceThe house is located in the Unesco Heritage neighborhood of Mangalem. It's the only house with a proper balcony in the neighborhood from which you have amazing views of Mt. Tomorr, the hills around, the river and a bit of Gorica. The house has 3 rooms, from which one is a bedroom, and two sitting areas. The bedroom is small and has 2 single beds. There is a sofa that turns into a double bed in the living room. The house was recently renovated with new ceilings, fresh paint, and new furniture. Please respect the furniture as they are brand new (sitting rooms furniture), the wooden floors, especially in the balcony as it's also brand new, and the neighborhood.
The kitchen has up to date appliances (fridge and stove). There is one bathroom attached to the balcony. The house has a lot of character and is perfect for couples or families who wish to spend a few days in Berat. The wireless internet has recently been updated and works inside and outside in the balcony.
I don't live in Albania, but my brother takes great care of the house as he lives nearby. Upon confirmation of reservation you will receive more information about Berat and what we have to offer during your stay.
Interaction with GuestsMy brother Dorian will be available to help with any inquiries or emergencies any time. Call his cell ph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), or call his land line (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Getting AroundThe house is located up Mangalem hill. Due to it being part of Unesco Heritage, cars are not allowed inside the neighborhood. The walk up the house is a very good exercise :) Other Things to NoteThe bathroom is small but fully functional with updated tiles, toilet, shower, and sink. Due to limited space the shower has no curtain and gets the floor wet. Please be careful. The tiles might get slippery. There is a flight of stairs to walk up when entering the main gate.
There is parking down the street by the Edward Lear Gallery.
