The SpaceThe apartment is in a historic building in Riga's Art Nouveau area and I've maintained some of the original features like the parquet floors, wooden doors and high ceilings, and paired them with a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture. Guest AccessYou will have access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom and toilet. In terms of amenities, feel free to use the dishes and crockery, hair dryer and iron. Interaction with GuestsHappy to share tips on what to see and do in Latvia, where to eat, sleep and party. I work in the travel industry so I love to stay up to date with what's new. I also blog about life in Riga. The NeighborhoodRiga is known as the Art Nouveau capital of Europe and my street is often included in Art Nouveau tours. There are some stunning buildings nearby!
The area is officially called the Quiet Centre because it really is quiet. It's predominantly residential and there are some beautiful neighbourhood cafes and restaurants nearby, like All Cappuccino, Tiirs and Buberts, as well as a Vespa rental store with inhouse coffee shop. It's also within ten minutes' walk of the Andrejsala area which has seen major urban redevelopment and is now home to some of the city's trendiest restaurants overlooking the port, as well as one of the top clubs in town. Getting AroundTrams 5, 6, 7 and 9 stop close by and it takes less than ten minutes to get to the old town. You can also walk there within ten to fifteen minutes.
Trolleybuses 1 and 19 stop close by, and numerous buses.
There's a SIXT rental bike stand five minutes away.
