The NeighborhoodLimanu it’s a small, secluded village, located in the southern part of the Romanian Black Sea litoral, very close to Mangalia City (the ancient Callatis) and 2 Mai, a discreet fishermen’s settlement, with a very nice sandy beach. On the Mangalia estuary, where the marina is located, you can practice many aquatic sports, such as sailing, SUP, windsurfing, kaiaking, canoing. Near by, there is the Hagieni Natural Reservation, where you can go for a half day trip canoing or biking. With an appointed guide you can even visit the Limanu Cave. As for the restaurants, the one in the marina has a wide variety menu, from mediteranian food to local fish dishes, good quality, decent prices.
If you’re into party on the beach until the morning, then Vama Veche it’s a must! It sports the most vibrant beach nightlife in Romania, only 10 minutes by car from Limanu! A lot of restaurants, beach bars open all night, with sunrise chill-out after-parties, a very relaxed and special atmosphere! A place to remember, I promise! Getting AroundFirst you’ll have to reach Mangalia, by train, by bus or by car. From Mangalia you are only 10 minutes away of Life Harbour (Marina Limanu) by car, or 30 minutes by boat. Taxi usually charges 30-35 RON per trip (around 8 Euros). There is a bus, but I don’t know the time schedule, and the easyest way to come is to give me a call and I will pick you up with my car or with a boat. Other Things to NoteCheck-in starts at 6 P.M.
Check-out must be done by 10 A.M., unless you book the sailboat for a sailtrip next day.
