The SpaceWe offer you an entire house on wheels in a quiet, green meadow, with a beautiful view of the mountains. It's a comfy, versatile suite, in the middle of the great outdoors.
The caravan accommodates a couple or maximum 3 adults or a family (2 parents and 2 children).
The living area has a couch which can turn into a large bed (for up to 3 persons) for the night. There are another 2 superposed bunk beds, adequate only for 2 children/teenagers. This area also turns into a living space with a small table and 2 seats.
You have your own kitchen with everything you need for cooking: gas stove, sink, fridge with small freezer, plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery etc. (and if you need anything else, we would love to help you).
The bathroom is the largest available for an European caravan, equipped with shower, chemical toilet, sink, and dressing.
Moreover, you'll find lots of storage space everywhere, including a large wardrobe with hangers. Guest AccessBesides your own caravan, you can also enjoy all the facilities in our large backyard (barbecue place, rustic fire pit and benches).
In the evening, you may sit by the campfire.
Children can play in the playground situated in our front yard, where we have a large trampoline, a sandbox, a slide, a swing and lots of toys. Moreover, our daughter will love to have company.
For the moment, wireless Internet is available only in a specific area in front of our house, where guests are welcome to come. Interaction with GuestsLots of activities are possible in our area: hiking, trekking, climbing in the nearby mountains, cycling on rural roads or mountain biking, canoeing, river rafting and visiting the famous Painted Monasteries of Bucovina. Since we are active people and own an outdoor shop as well, we can help you organize your vacation in Bucovina. We can provide maps, outdoor gear and advice for those interested.
In case you need anything or have any questions, one of us will usually be around to help you. The NeighborhoodOur place is surrounded by mountains, at the foot of Ousoru Peak, near Calimani National Park and not far from Rodnei National Park (all visible from the campsite).
If you come here, you'll love the green meadows full of wild flowers, the fresh air in the nearby woods, the egg-like shaped peak (Ousoru in Romanian) you'll see every day, the sunset over Rodnei mountains in the summer. You'll hear the legends of the 12 Apostles' Stones in Calimani National Park or the Lady's Stones in Rarau Mountains, where you can go in a one-day trip. Getting AroundOur place is situated about 1 km away from DN17, on the road to Poiana Negri, at 10 km distance from Vatra Dornei town. Public transportation is available nearby. Other Things to NoteWe want to offer you not only a place to stay, but also an entire experience. We can prepare breakfast on demand for a small fee and supply our guests with fresh organic products of our own or from our neighbours: cow and goat milk, free-range eggs, delicious raw honey (we are also bee-keepers), home-made jams and even some vegetables from our garden, depending on the season.
We can also do laundry for a reasonable fee.
Another important mention is the fact that our place is a caravan, which has its specific features and limitations. If you haven't stayed in one before, you may find the inside space quite limited (for this reason we put up a large tent outside), the bathroom, even though large for a caravan, smaller than a standard one etc. But if you love the idea of a nomadic lifestyle and being outdoors, you'll find the caravan a beautiful and unconventional place to stay.
