The house and everything inside it is fairly old. A prairie-cottage-old western vibe. Theres a bunch of bunk beds to house lots of people and three private rooms with queen beds.
The dreamy landscape outside is filled with bright green grass and trees and a big blue sky. Don't miss checking out the stars at night, it's an unbelievable sight!
There's also an outdoor fire pit and rope swing into the large pond. There's a few turtles, ducks, and some blue gill and bass. If you bring your own poles, go ahead and fish! Just please keep area clean and safe for next guest. The water is fine to swim in, but might be a little chilly at certain times of the year.
Fair warning: No tv, no wifi.
You might wake up to the sound of chirping birds.
The ranch is nice for nature lovers, adventure seekers, people looking to relax, and fun family bonding!
Also great for weddings and larger events- please write me to discuss pricing The NeighborhoodClosest neighbor is at least a mile away, the town is quiet and has a few restaurants that have been around since the 1920s. You will enjoy the unique personality the area has to offer.
Nearby there is Manzanita Diner, Wisteria Candy Cottage (100 years famous for their candy), Subway, Golden Grill Cafe, Golden Acorn Casino, and Jacumba Hot Springs Spa and Restaurant.
I advise you to bring your own food since there is a full working kitchen and not many outside options.
Barbecuing is recommended! Other Things to NoteThere are rescue horses and some cows on the land. They are not for riding. Please be caring toward the animals if you do come across them. You are welcome to bring your own horses because the property is great for trail riding and equipped with all the proper horse facilities.
For aviation enthusiasts, if you are not interested in driving, there is a 5000ft dirt runway, but please let me know prior.
**Feel free to bring your own bicycles, dirt bikes, tents, fishing supplies, hammocks, and anything else you would like to use while at the ranch.
