The SpacePlease feel free to inquire even on blocked out days, as sometimes our schedule will open up unexpectedly!
"The Victorian" features an original 1930's vanity, Victorian style lamps, and original 1900's Marley Horse Bronze statues.
We now have a second room available at the same location, check it out! "The Egyptian" at Adobe Horse Ranch --https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/10784388
Our idyllic mountain hideaway is perfect for single and multiple night lodging, and ideal for visiting nurses working in the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita or San Fernando Valleys. (Hospitals include Palmdale, Lancaster, Henry Mayo, and Olive View). The ranch is also a great stopover on your way to or from Las Vegas.
40 mi from Los Angeles/Burbank metro area, Universal Studios, 15 minutes from Magic Mountain theme park, and a little over an hour to Disneyland is a beautiful horse ranch nestled in a mountain valley, (a safe and quiet place to stay) the small town of Agua Dulce. The one- street town hosts the best Mexican restaurant in So Cal, a coffee shop and two bars with weekend bands.
The Sweetwater Cafe features French and Italian cuisine prepared by sous chef, Dominik.
The Pacific Crest trail runs directly in front of the house, 1 mile to Vasquez Rocks park. The house is built around a garden courtyard with a fountain. There is a home gym with treadmill, weights, stationary bike, mirrors and television.
A PRIVATE ENSUITE BATHROOM with shower, large tub, and double sinks adjoins the room, and a large, comfortable queen bed awaits.
("Ensuite" —used to describe a bedroom to which a bathroom is directly connected or a bathroom that is directly connected to a bedroom.) The remodel was done by a British couple and it is a typical european-type ensuite. Europeans tend to have much less in the way of hangups about privacy than we Americans do. What this means is that there is not a door to the bathroom (which DOES give one a clear view of the sink and vanity from the rest of the bedroom if one cares to look) but there IS a wall that protects the toilet, bath and shower from view. To clarify- you can watch your friend, spouse or whatever wash their hands if you so desire, but you cannot (inadvertently) watch them shower or use the toilet!! We also have a bidet in the bath added by the same couple (which is not american at all!) It is not currently turned on for access.
We run a small horse rescue, White Fox Horse Rescue, and this is home for abused and abandoned horses.

Loads of white vinyl fence everywhere you look, although ours is brown because we are the rebels! Getting AroundNot much in the way of public transport out here.. Other Things to NoteCasual attire is welcome! We call it "Agua Dulce Chic" - we dress mostly in sweats or shorts and boots. It's the order of the day. You are also welcome to run around in pajamas!
PLEASE make sure that before your departure, you print out and bring the directions I will send you, as just putting the address in your GPS doesn't always work well in the country! The house entrance is on a side road and not at the main address.
