The SpaceThe room is cozy, comfortable and somewhere to relax. You have your own fridge in the room and also your own television. Guests will have access to their own bathroom, and will also have kitchen access. Free wifi accessible too. Interacts as much or as less as the guests requires. We know some guests just want to relax. We are happy to help with recommendations for places to go visit. Our neighbourhood is quiet and we are located in a lovely area Local ICE bus which can get you to Calgary LRT. We are near the main highways so access to downtown is quick and easy. We are a pet friendly home and do have a dog. We also have a 5 year old, who is lovely and will take you under his wing :) we are family friendly and do have a play yard available upon request. The SpaceWe are located in the small prairie village of Linden, (population 750) with a uniquely Mennonite flavour. The people are friendly and the village is nestled on a small valley with a tiny creek. The room is comfortable and cool with a private bathroom down the hall and is located on a different floor from the other bedrooms for your privacy. Breakfast is included and features local free-range eggs, endless coffee and tea, juice, cereal, toast with homemade preserves and butter, (and sometimes croissants or fresh muffins), yoghurt and fruit. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 am unless you let us know of a different time you prefer. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire home, including the kitchen and dining room, media room with theatre seating and internet TV, and both front and back decks to enjoy a drink and relax. Interaction with GuestsWe will interact as much or as little as the guests wish. We have travelled extensively ourselves and can offer advice and directions and even set up custom tours and visits of attractions such as the Drumheller Badlands (including Tyrell Museum, Canadian Badlands Passion Play, Atlas Coal Mine, etc.), Banff, Lake Louise, in and around Calgary, etc. The NeighborhoodThe people are friendly and welcoming and it's quiet and peaceful. It's very close to restaurants, café, groceries and walking trails. Getting AroundAccess is only available by car. There is no public transport. Airport pickup can be arranged for a fee. Other Things to NoteThis is a small town and basically shuts down at 9:00 pm. There are two restaurants; the Hong Kong Restaurant is open until 9:00 pm every day and has decent Chinese food and mediocre western food, and the Country Cousins is open until 8:00 pm, closed Sundays, and has excellent home-cooking and Mennonite food. Therefore, if you are going to arrive late, eat before you come! :)

    Please note that we are only accepting booking starting from first week of December with minimal gaps from end of the existing booking ending on November 30. Our executive upgraded townhouse is located in the desirable community of "Airdrie" which is 12 mins from Calgary airport, 25 from Downtown Calgary, and 90 mins from Banff. The house is very well maintained, in excellent conditions with lots of windows and natural light. The Main floor is spacious open concept with fireplace in the Living room, dining area, Kitchen, and half bath. The kitchen has an upgraded espresso cabinets, kitchen island, raised granite eating bar. Upper Floor - Master bedroom with its ensuite and two other well sized bedrooms and second bathroom. Basement is a great finished open space for family gathering as well. Furniture and Appliances: The house is fully furnished with living area furniture, 40" LCV TV, dining set, Full Master Bedroom, One queen bed, one twin bed, futon and office set in basement, and all rugs. Kitchen is fully equipped with 7 Stainless steel appliances. All cooking ware items, bedroom linens, bathroom accessories, window covering, and professional wall decoration items ALL Utilities included: Water, Electricity, Heat, Cable, Internet, and Phone Location and Amenities: Walking distance for 2 plazas and grocery store across the street, NoFrills grocery store, Walmart, Supercenter, Sobeys, Safeway, Co-op, and Superstore and they are all 3 to 10 mins driving, and Genesis recreation center is just 5 mins driving.     The SpaceThis is a whole lower level in a split level. Other than the kitchen upstairs, everything is available in your private area. If you are staying more than a few days, the laundry is downstairs and may be needed by the host. The small bedroom houses a double bed that can sleep 2. There is a small closet with hangars and a lamp. A further two guests can be accommodated in the ping pong room with a double size 4 inch foam mattress. Guest AccessThe front entrance, has a landing which leads up or down. Down the stairs is a door and all the space that the guest can use. The guest may also access and use the kitchen upstairs. Parking is free on the street and a short stroll from the townhouse. Interaction with GuestsI am a traveller and understand each individual is different and has different needs and wants. I can be as engaging or private as you wish. I love sport, so if you are ever headed out for some activity I'd love an invite. My brother also lives upstairs, although he is usually away for work or if he is not working he is away travelling. The NeighborhoodQuiet residential neighbourhood in the bedroom community of Airdrie about 20 minutes from the Calgary airport. Getting AroundMost likely you will need a car, unless you are a transit expert! The transit does stop a little over a block from here but it is not very frequent. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other with a small IKEA bed suitable for a child. You have your own private bathroom with all the shampoos, soaps, etc. It has a fully equipped kitchen; fridge, freezer, stove, dishes, pots and pans, etc. We made great coffee every morning and breakfast is provided. There's a washer and dryer if you need it. There's a flat screen TV, with cable, and wifi. There's even amenities for a baby if needed; crib, wipes, baby powder, baby shampoo, etc. Just let me know ahead of time. Guest AccessYou will have your own private bedroom and bathroom.         The SpaceThe property is home to dogs and cats, as well as horses and chickens. We have several gardens, a small aspen forest, and a pond at the far end of the property (30 acres). The garage suite includes a pull-out double bed in a large lazy-boy sectional and recliner couch, small gas fireplace, private deck, water dispenser, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The guest room in the house also has access to a den with big-screen TV/Netflix/blue-ray player, a semi-private bathroom (shower & sauna), and a fully functioning private kitchenette. TV with blue-ray player (movie selection provided), hot plate, and a small convection oven can also be provided on request for longer stays. Access to a (shower only) full bathroom with dry-sauna is provided via the main house from the hours of 7:00am - 11:00pm, there is a composting toilet in the garage suite for use outside of those hours. Access to the BBQ on the deck of the main house & hot-tub is to be pre-arranged. Wifi is only available in the main house and on the three decks of the main house. A continental breakfast is provided during weekday stays and a full breakfast is included in weekend stays. Timing to be negotiated! Guest AccessTake a long walk through the countryside, or have an evening fire under the stars. Our farm overlooks 3000 acres of farmland and coulees. Visit the horses, enjoy the gardens - even harvest fixings for a salad! The property is great for bird watching, with resident hawks, humming birds, yellow finch, woodpeckers, owls, and many more - foxes, porcupines, deer, skunks, and badgers are also common here.         Guest AccessThe entire basement space. There is a nice rooftop deck that guests can enjoy during warm periods of the year. The option to share some kitchen space does exist as well and can be arranged ahead of time. Interaction with GuestsWe are usually around but even when we aren't we are reachable on our phones. We are happy social people and are always open to interaction. That being said, we are very conscious about giving people their own space to relax and enjoy their rental. The NeighborhoodClose to many amenities such as convenience, grocery, fuel, shopping mall, movie theater, airport. Getting AroundAirdrie transit does pick up on our street. We also have taxicabs and car rental companies for quick outings or day trips etc. Other Things to NoteOur dog Izzy and our cat Waylon are very well behaved and respectful. They spend almost no time downstairs and can be shut out of your basement space if you would prefer to not interact with them.

Our home is ideal for the connecting passenger, tourist, or business executive passing through Calgary. This place is a great location if you want to be close to the airport or wanting to shop at Cross Iron Mills. Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail are easily accessible by car. Calgary Transit is a few minutes' walk away but Calgary Transit can take a long time to travel within the city during non-peak times. You will be welcomed with clean bed sheets, towels, soap, shampoo, and wireless high-speed internet. Our kitchen is fully stocked with appliances (major appliances and coffeemaker, blender, toaster, and kettle), pots, pans, dinnerware, and basic cooking necessities. A new washing machine and dryer is available. We also offer a patio, chairs, table, and patio heater in our backyard. The NeighborhoodOur home is situated in a quiet suburb in NW Calgary. We are within a short driving distance of many amenities, including grocery, fitness and swimming, coffeeshops, restaurants, the movie theatre, and fast-food establishments. There is easy access to Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail. There are many pathways near our neighbourhood if you are looking for a leisurely stroll or run. Getting AroundPublic transit is available and is within walking distance of our home. Public transit is $3.15 for 90 minutes of travel either way. If you are renting a vehicle, please feel free to park in our driveway and there is also a lot of free street parking available. Other Things to NoteThis is a non-smoking home and no pets are allowed. We have 3 rooms available in our home which can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. For all guests, we require proof of a valid government identification prior to check-in, or at the time of check-in. For guests seeking a longer term stay of one month or more, we will ask that you execute a short term rental agreement. There are no exceptions to these requirements.
