During your stay here you may feel like walking along the beach, jogging around Albert Park Lake, swimming at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, hiring a share bike, enjoying a coffee at a neighbourhood café like the Montague Park Food Store on the corner or having a picnic under a shady tree in the gardens opposite. Maybe the pub is more your scene & there are so many to choose from within a 1km radius; The Montague, The Albert Park, The Railway, The Middle Park, O'Connell's & The Palace Hotel to name a few. Later in the day you could dine at one of the many local restaurants & then check out a gig at the infamous Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda.
At Melbourne Grand Prix time you'll be right amongst the action. Plus it's an easy trip on one of Melbourne's famous trams to the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Docklands Stadium, various theatres & galleries, Australian Open Tennis, St Kilda Film Festival, Melbourne Cup Racing Carnival, Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Chinatown or Chapel Street designer shopping. Whatever you're into, Melbourne has it & it's all close by. Visit for New Year's Eve & you'll even have your very own view of the fireworks over the cityscape seen from the front balcony. Getting AroundThe No. 1 tram trundles past, heading to South Melbourne Beach or back to the City, via the Arts Centre, Federation Square & Flinders Street Station. Alternatively it's a 5 minute walk to either the No. 96 lightrail or No. 12 tram which both run from St Kilda Beach & the restaurants & bars of the Fitzroy St / Acland St precinct to the City, passing the Crown Casino Entertainment Complex / Southbank / Melbourne Exhibition Centre & then over the Yarra River to Southern Cross Station. -We provide a Parking Visitors Permit Pass for all guests to use. If the pass is misplaced the council charges $250 to replace. Please note we would be passing this cost onto the guest if it is lost.
