The toilet is separate Laundry has a front loading washing machine, dryer and access to the clothes line Street parking & access to house via stairs Only a five minute walk to the train station, 1klm to the Homezone Shopping Centre which has a gourmet meat and veggie shop, video shop, gym, doctors and specialty shops. There is also the Newmarket Shopping centre which comprises of a Coles, Priceline and 40 specialty shops There's a superb public swimming pool in Sedgeley Park with a kid's mecca of slides, waterspouts and more. It also offers squad training, swimming lessons and good facilities. Lots of grass to laze on, open in the spring/summer months, and several sporting ovals that are home to various football clubs. The local pub - the historic (and completely renovated) Newmarket Hotel - attracts a lively crowd most nights of the week. Pet cleaning fee of $50 applies if Pet is kept inside the Property

The SpaceThe home is a reproduction colonial home with views and breezes. The available room is downstairs and contains a queen sized bed and own bathroom. Room is $85/night single, $125-night double including continental breakfast. This modern home is very close to public transport and shops. There is a small deck out front and huge deck out back overlooking a large private yard providing privacy and space where you can sit in peace and enjoy a wine or a meal while listening to the ample birdlife. Upstairs there is a spare lounge room with a large flat screen TV. Guests are encouraged to spread out, relax and make themselves at home. Guest AccessEntry to the home is via the lower level so you can access your downstairs room without disturbing the other house guests. Interaction with GuestsThe house is occupied by myself (Brent), a friendly full time professional entertainer. I run my business from a home office tucked away under the rear of the house along with a very quiet and polite 24 year old full time worker. The NeighborhoodThe property is in a leafy upmarket, inner-city suburb in a quiet neighbourhood. There are several cafe's, restaurants, bars etc. within close proximity. Gold Coast theme parks are 45 minutes to the South and Sunshine Coast attractions begin 55 minutes to the North. Getting AroundPublic transport to the city is a 6 minute walk from the house, from there a 10 minute bus or train ride will take you into downtown Brisbane. Access from Brisbane Airport by rail is easy (approx. $20.00AUD) or Uber car ride approx. $35.00. Street parking provided. Other Things to NoteThe house is very large and comfortable and you will feel relaxed and at home in no time!

The SpaceWe are happy to accommodate 1-2 people in a lovely airy room with a queen bed. We have a nice shared bathroom and kitchen space with everything you need to cook a meal using fresh herbs from the garden downstairs, blend a juice or just have vegemite on toast! Large backyard with hammock and space to unwind. Shared living areas with books on the shelf! Only two of us in the house, one who travels a lot for work, we are very laid back and are respectful of mood and space. Getting AroundThere is a bus right by the house Monday to Friday that goes straight to the City, and on the weekends its a 10minute walk to a main road where buses run till late. The 345 goes to the city and cultural precints like Southbank.

The SpaceWelcome to Brisbane and thank you for taking a look at my listing! The house: This is a typical Queenslander opposite parkland with walk and bike pathways. There are 2 rooms available: - 1 bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, dresser - 1 smaller room with single bed, hanging and storage space. Both rooms have fans and the bigger room has air-conditioning. The airconditioned (only when really necessary) lounge and dining area are central to the house. Downstairs is the laundry with washing machine and drying facilities and an extra toilet. Feel free to make use of the fully equipped kitchen and the Wifi Internet. I have had many home stay students staying with me, as well as overseas and interstate friends and guests, so am quite used to having extra people in the house. The area: While the street is off a secondary main road, this is a quiet street with houses only on one site of the street. Shopping centres and public transport are within walking distance. The train at Newmarket station is a little further to walk. The distance to the city centre is about 6 km. The house is located opposite a park connecting with other parks via walk and bike paths. It follows the Enoggera Creek bed and connects to other paths, west to The Gap, to RBW Hospital, QUT Kelvin Grove and to the CBD Brisbane. The SpaceThe apartment is the ground floor of our family home. Guests who have loved our apartment include people looking for a perfect base to visit Brisbane and South East Queensland, families relocating to Brisbane , local renovators requiring short term accommodation. Bedrooms: There are two Queen beds, one single bed and also two fold out beds which can be put in any room. Main bedroom has an en-suite and one queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed in the room. All windows have security screens. Each of the two large bedrooms have fans with blackout curtain lining, security screens , huge wardrobes and 1000 thread count bed linen. The main bedroom also enjoys a 32" television with DVD player Living Area The open plan dining/lounge has air conditioning and includes a flat screen television with Foxtel, DVD player with lots of DVDs for you to enjoy including many for children. Kitchen There is a cook top, 1&1/2 ovens, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, kettle, George foreman grill, fry pans,pans, cutlery, dine ware, glasses for 6 people and other standard cooking utensils. . There is a dinning table that seats six. Otherwise, there is an array of restaurants or take-away options within a five minute drive. We have left menus for lots of local restaurants in the apartment. Bathroom The main bedroom has an en-suite, there is also a shower room/ Power Room and a separate toilet. There is a hair dryer in the main bathroom and another hair dryer in the en-suite. Location It's just 6 kms by road, 4km as the crow flies from Brisbane CBD (10-15min drive). It is a 20 minute drive from Brisbane airport. The nearest bus stop is approximately 5 mins walk with regular buses to the CBD and shopping centres. Brookside shopping centre is about 5 mins drive, Ashgrove village is 2-3 mins drive. There is a café and petrol station that sells milk, bread etc. less than 5 mins walk away. Linen Bed linen is provided for all beds, two bath towels per person, hand towels, bath mats, tea towels and there is extra sheets, Duvet covers and blankets for each bed also provided. Portable cot linen also provided on request. Laundry There is a washing machine in the main bathroom. The apartments has its own clothes line, clothes drying rack, iron, ironing board and clothes pegs. Child Friendly Child portable cot, high chair, child linen, Maclaren pram, portable bath available (for children up to 3). There is a large selection of children's DVD in the apartment, childrens cable TV (FOXTEL KIDS) children's and teenagers books and board games. There is a children's play ground at the end of our street, only meters away and a very large children's playground 10 minutes walk away with a great child friendly cafe with really delicious food, on the corner next to the park, called Famished on Fraser. The apartment is also on the ground floor so easy with kids. We have a toddler ourselves, so will happily leave some of her toys. The pool is quite deep, the small children will not be able to stand and will require floats and supervision at all times. South Bank is about a 15 minute drive the kids will love it there. There is a super kids friendly restaurant about 10 mins drive from us. Everton Park Hotel. It has a massive fenced play area including slides, climbing nets, a train play area, swings a working Merry Go Round and for the older Brisbane kids there are play stations and a movie room to use at their leisure. We can recommend a lovely child minder, who we use ourselves. Guest AccessFull Kitchen, lounge room, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, washing machine, private outdoor area with clothes line. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is situated in a lovely quiet leafy street in Ashgrove. It is a perfect base for a stay in the Brisbane area or taking day trips to either the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop approximately 5 mins walk away with regular services to Brisbane CBD and shopping centers near by. Otherwise a there is free on street parking if renting a car. Enoggera Train station is our nearest train station 3km away. Other Things to NoteArrival and departure time Our secure PIN entry system means guests can arrive 24 hours a day. The PIN is changed for each set of guests. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime after 2pm. Check out time is 10am. If you require a late check out after 10am or arrival before 2pm, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. Pool You are welcome to enjoy our large outdoor solar heated pool. The apartment is the down stairs of a two story house, it has its own entrance from the main house and a second entrance to the guests outdoor area. The property is gated, offering security and privacy. Our family live on the first floor of this property. We have two small children. We are very respectful of our guests and try and ensure as much as possible noise does not travel from our apartment to the ground floor, we have insulated the ground floor and taken several other measures to ensure noise does not travel. However as is the case with any apartment you may hear occasional noise. The insulation is also great for keeping the apartment cool in summer and warm in winter. Dogs We have two small friendly dogs, a miniature poodle and toy poodle. our dogs are indoor dogs and are mostly in our apartment upstairs or in the back garden. They have no access to the private outdoor area attached to your apartment, the front of the garden or the pool area. If you want to use the back garden without the dogs please let us know and we will ensure they are kept inside. You are welcome to take our dogs for a walk if you would like.

This beautiful apartment is tastefully decorated with original art works hanging on either the crisp white walls of the bedrooms or the simple timber panelled feature wall of the lounge room. Comprising a full sized master bedroom with queen size bed and a second bedroom with both a double and a single bed. Large wardrobes with hanging space and shelves in both rooms have plenty of space for either a short or long term stay. Bedrooms are air conditioned for your summer comfort. The couch is also a comfy bed for an extra guest and sits in front of a TV that has Foxtel Platinum available providing both movies and music with seating for 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with European oven and gas cook top along with a microwave and family size fridge with a full size dining table for both you and any visitors you may decide to entertain during your stay. The bathroom is made up of three rooms, a large walk-in shower room, separate toilet and a room with twin bowl bathroom vanity. We welcome pets by agreement and there is a fully fenced section of the garden available for your exclusive use and where your pets can be safely contained. If they are getting along with our animals then the gate can be left open as you choose. If things are going to be busy for you or you’d just like that extra bit of relaxation and time off from normal life, we offer breakfast baskets and evening meals by arrangement. The 'Man of the house' was a chef in a former life so we are happy to chat with you about what you would like. The apartment is part of our family home, a renovated 1940's Queenslander that was the original homestead when the area was just rolling hills filled with dairy cattle. Perched on the top of a hill the afternoon breezes are wonderful in what is now one of Brisbane's most sought after areas for real estate. Our home can now be enjoyed by you. As a family home please be aware that the laughter of 7 year old twins may pervade the air during the day along with a occasional bark from Benie the family pet. Our tree- shrouded garden is also home to 4 chickens and if you take up a seat in our family hammock are a truly calming thing to behold as they wander around the yard. The SpaceA space offered is the master bedroom which has it's own private ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet and sink. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen sized bed and all linen and towels are supplied. There is also a walk in wardrobe for you to hang your clothes out of the way during your stay. As well as the master bedroom there is also a second bedroom with a double bed. Guest AccessIn addition to the bedrooms guests will have access to the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge areas as well as a private courtyard at the back. Guests are free to use the kitchen to prepare their own meals if they like, although there are a number of great restaurants nearby. Interaction with GuestsGenerally I will be able to greet you upon arrival to give you keys but other then that you would have the house to yourself. The NeighborhoodThe house is located in the best position close to everything you could need. The Newmarket Shops are just up the road, there are great restaurants a stones throw away and the Newmarket pool is a 10 minute walk away for those hot summer days in Brisbane! Getting AroundNewmarket is also very close to the city centre which makes it a great location to base yourself if you are exploring or in town for work and need to commute to work. It's a 5 minute walk to the train station which will get you into town in 13 minutes. Other Things to NoteSuncorp Stadium is a short 15 minute drive away and it you want to take your car into the city it will take you 10 minutes.

Aircon / heating GREAT mountain-view from back deck (outside bedroom). Separate room to store suitcases etc. Kitchen available for light use. A little to one side of your area and you can find owner there sometimes, making a cup of tea ! Good place to chat, ask questions etc. Breakfast is provided in the kitchen. Your own TV room. Good indoor spaces for sitting, if it is windy or rainy and the large deck is not suitable. MORE DETAIL Set on a gentle hill, this house is in a safe, residential, suburban street. One entire floor of the house is given over to guests. The large kitchen is to one side, a little separate, so very occasional use of kitchen by owner/s is hardly noticed. Guests will find that there is no overlap in the kitchen apart from tea-making, which can provide the opportunity for a brief chat, answering queries about the area etc. If you want CBD / 'downtown' buzz, please stay closer to the city. (Younger guests can be dismayed at how quiet and far from 'the action' this property is.) If you'd like a quiet retreat at the edge, where the architecture changes from CBD concrete to traditional wooden Queenslander style, with verandas, trees, rainbow lorikeets (small parrots) and a big sky - consider this Aussie accommodation. The back deck has an uninterrupted view of the D'Aguilar Range - the roof-tops of other houses are below you as you stand on your large veranda and look out. Restaurants are within very easy driving distance if you have a car and walking distance if you are fit. (Truly not far, but some people are just not walkers ! ) Wifi is available but no heavy streaming please. PRICE $62 for one person. $72 for 2 people. Note that the extra charge covers an excellent breakfast, separate good-quality towels, hot water and showers for the second person. Note also there is no cleaning fee. This is a house full of natural light with big windows / sliding glass doors. With no stairs for guests, this house really suits mature guests. (Hosts use internal stairs.) So mature guests are welcomed. Over 30 is a good starting point ! There is an entirely private carport, set aside for guest use only. You walk through an entry room (drop off your suitcases, if you like) to get to your back-of-house, double-bed bedroom. Between these two rooms there's your large, private bathroom. A large deck / veranda with a great view, a sitting room and a private television. The kitchen can be accessed for light cooking (often, guests eat at the pleasant kitchen table - but in Brisbane the veranda is fine for breakfast for most of the year. Worth the effort of walking 2 steps out of the kitchen to the deck's outdoor tables, with your muesli etc - to eat at tree-top level, gazing at the lovely view.) As well as the TV room, there's also an area with seating close to the large windows, so if it's a windy or rainy day, you can relax indoors, looking at the same great view. This accommodation is for up to 5 nights & 5 easy-going, slow-start-to-the-day breakfasts. When our paths cross, very happy to answer questions about trains/ buses and so on. Television and sitting room. Have not yet updated photo, but we are trying a scattering of comfortable chairs. BEDROOM The guest bedroom is at the back of the house (where the view is) and therefore away from the street. The bedroom is standard size but opens onto a large deck immediately outside the sliding glass door. In daylight hours, leave the door open and treat the large, covered, private deck as an extension of the bedroom. Table, cane chairs with cushions, potted orchids and great view just outside. IT'S B&B, NOT 'RENTED SPACE' Please read House Rules, which explain Bed & Breakfast if you've only stayed in hotels/motels before. Here, you are the ONLY guest/s and have pleasant, relaxing, private spaces beyond the bedroom. Tea and coffee always available. Milk in fridge. No parties - no entertaining other people here. If you are new to Airbnb please make sure you read the House Rules (below). VIEWS FROM ALMOST EVERYWHERE Walk two steps from kitchen onto back deck. Even the TV room has a view of the D'Aguilar Range ! There's a dishwasher for plates, bowls etc and please wash up any pans you use. GETTING OUT AND ABOUT Have the best of both worlds: spend your days in the CBD ("downtown"), Southbank or elsewhere and return to peace and quiet. Easy access to buses and trains. Bus takes you straight to Southbank, the 'arts precinct' of Brisbane - big state art galleries, theatres, museum, restaurants etc. Southbank is set on the banks of the wide Brisbane River, which also has 'city cats' - catamarans that are part of the public transport system in Brisbane. Buy a "Go-card" for a bus or train and you can use the city cats too - to get somewhere or just for a very cheap river cruise! There's also CityHopper, Brisbane City Council’s free ferry service. The SpaceI have 3 large fully furnished rooms in an older style Brisbane 'Queenslander' with back deck overlooking a lovely tropical garden. Comfortable living space with kitchen, living room, air con, TV, DVD. It is a 2 minute walk to the bus or a 3 minute walk to the train which will take you directly into Brisbane's CBD or it is a short stroll to local shops including restaurants and fast food outlets. Sub-tropical Brisbane is in the south east corner of Queensland and within easy distance of the famous Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast beaches. Within 20 minutes you will be in the heart of the city. Parking is on the quiet street. From the city travel by taxi or train (one change).     The SpaceA great room for a couple or single with a Queen size Bed and a shared bathroom (rarely needed). Yes I can accommodate more of your family if you would like. Just let me know. Don't come for the room, but do come for the backyard resort and your opportunity to relax in the tree-house gazebo, the pool bar, or 5 acres of park. ECO friendly with no use of harsh chemicals on plants and gardens. SALT water pool with waterfall and a reticulated fresh water system for the bigger waterfall. Solar Power, LED lighting, water storage on site, all of which add to a very ECO friendly environment you can enjoy. You are welcome to enjoy all this offers. Its outside so if you want a cigar with a Port then go for it. A cold beer or G and T are all fine too. A swim in the pool and getting some sun also works. A good book, connect to the wi fi to check emails can work too. This place is built to relax. The room is crisp cleaned to perfection and immaculate sheets and bedding are yours to feel comfortable when you go to bed. I will suggest that if the room means more than the resort then this may not be your best choice. Getting Around500 Yards/Mtrs from 2 Train Stations and a Bus Interchange. This means you can get to anywhere on the rail and bus network and the Brisbane City Centre, South Bank Parkland's, Business Heart. From home to the Train Station is a (4) four minute walk (plus minus 1 minute) or could be 20 minutes if you use a walking frame. My place to the Brisbane Central Station is 20 minutes by train. Taxis are easily found and booked. A taxi to Brisbane is approx 25 dollars. Other Things to NoteI can pick you up at the airport if you want to arrange this before you come. You can let me know what you would like for breakfast and the time and I will always do my best to have this for you. Perhaps if you want Lobster then this you may have to pay extra for. Bacon and eggs and Coffee and Tee etc are no problem.

Shops about 5 minutes walk. There is a local hotel that serves meals as well as a coffee shop and many restaurants within 2 km radius. Pickering street (1 km) has a range of businesses providing car servicing and spare parts. Getting AroundThis area is well served by public transport. The train station is 5 minutes down the road, and there are various bus options to the city and elsewhere. Royal Brisbane Hospital is 3-4 kms away, accessible by bus and train. The kitchen has everything that you could want including a big refrigerator and dishwasher. You have your own entrance, two bedrooms, two ensuites, shared kitchen, dining and lounge rooms. There is also a laundry and generally off-street parking is also available. Depending on the bookings, there may be another guest in one of the bedrooms or you may have the place to yourselves.       The SpaceThis is a lovely, spacious family home. All floors are polished hardwood and the living areas and bedrooms are very generous in size. The main living area and all bedrooms have air conditioning and the master bedroom also has a ceiling fan. All bedrooms feature room for two to sleep. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom are set up as children's rooms but can be redressed if required. The master bedroom has ensuite and king sized bed. The other bedrooms share a very large bathroom with a deep soaking bath and separate shower. The 2nd bedroom features a queen sized bed and the 3rd bedroom features a cot and a day bed which can be configured as single or queen. There is a sparkling 8mx5m inground pool surrounded by large trees for privacy. In the large backyard there is also a huge trampoline which will keep the kids (and the adults!) amused. The large (35sqm) back deck features a full sized table, BBQ, lounge chairs and hammock and is perfect for warm summer outdoor dining. The house is within easy reach of quality local cafes and restaurants, parks, bike/walkways and playgrounds. Public transport is in easy reach as is the city (10 minutes by car/taxi, 12 minutes by train). Please note: we have 2 dogs, but they won't be present during your stay. However please re-consider letting if any guests have allergies to dogs. Guest AccessWhole of house except garage, but there is ample room to park in the driveway.
