The SpaceOur self-contained garden apartment is spacious (60 sqm) and has its own private entrance. The living room has a sofa and dining table, Television/DVD/video, sliding door to the backyard, and room for 2 extra single beds or a queen size Aero-bed. There is space in the bedroom to add two single beds and one or two travel cots that we can supply. Kitchen includes 2 electric hot plates, tea/coffee/toast making facilities, fridge, microwave, oven, and ample utensils. Private bathroom with shower, vanity, and toilet. Laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer, and the clothes lines in the backyard are shared between guests and the owners. Guests have access to park-like gardens with outdoor sitting areas for sun or shade. We have toys, books, bikes, table tennis and surf boards, also a trampoline and swing, hammock, spa/jacuzzi/hot-tub, and an upstairs deck to enjoy wider ocean and district views. The NeighborhoodThe local altitude is around 130 metres, near the top of the local hill that is the highest in Sydney. From our upstairs deck that we share with guests there are magnificent 180 degrees ocean views. The local hill provides for the local lookout, a few minutes walk away; it provides 360 degrees views across Sydney and the ocean. The area is quiet, suburban residential. Local cafes for coffee or restaurants for a meal start 10 minutes walk away. Getting AroundThe local bus stop, only a few minutes walk away, can take you: - to the beaches; - to Manly's ferry wharf for a ferry ride across the harbour into the city centre; - directly into the city; - to train stations for longer distance travelling e.g. to the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley, NSW south coast, Western NSW, and interstate. Italian and Japanese couple happy to host people travelling around. We live in Frenchs Forest, Sydney Northern Beaches - bus stop is at front of the house and it is 30 min to Manly/Chatswood, and 45 min to city. We live in a very nice and safe neighbourhood with shops, beaches, sporting fields and large public swimming pool all accessible by bus/car.

    A Cosy house/cottage with a forest view on a creek and birdsongs from sunrise to sunset. We are a semi retired couple who are well travelled, loves life, our fellowmen and the outdoors. We live in a quiet winding leafy street with great neighbours. The share-bathroom is adjacent to the guest room and conveniently close to the kitchen and laundry. The best spot in the house is the large balcony that overlooks the creek as well as an al fresco area in the bush. Add to that a unique "little outhouse".       A brand new studio located on the northern beaches in a quiet street with pool and spa for use by the guests.The studio is on easy bus route which is a short 10 minute trip to Manly NSW by public bus.The studio also has a BBQ and outdoor seating for private use and all kitchen equipment and linen are all provided for guests. Separate private entrance to the studio in a lovely garden setting . Shared pool are also available in the property. The bedding configuraton is a double bed and a single futon which converts to a bed. All appliances are new and is equipped with all cooking facilities . The area has a lovely bushland park across the road and nearby bush walks. There is loads of outdoor activities nearby such as the beach golf tennis and fishing.All my previous guests have referred to the studio as a home away from home and are always reluctant to leave .The area I live in is a very safe suburban area and there are loads of buses in close proximity to get to all your destinations in Sydney like the beaches the city area and all the local shopping malls. The local shopping centre has a supermarket ,resturants, coffee shops , pharmacy and all your needs locally within a short walk .I am always ready to take you on a tour of the local area to show the services in the area and the bus stops to make you holiday enjoyable. The transport system is very cheap and affordable. Use of a prepaid card is used for public transport.Come and enjoy my home away from home and read my reviews to confirm this .To come from the airport you can use a shared shuttle buses and book on line.I have contact information for shuttle bus if you wish to use it. They are much cheaper usually around $45 to $60 for one person and discounts for two and give to the door service. At taxi is aproximately $80 to 120.00 .uber taxi service is also reasonable . so a lot cheaper option ,I live in a very relaxed safe area and i have a security door with remote access to gain entry to the studio with a great bus and ferry service nearby property not suitable for infants or young child re pool and no equipment for infants LOCATED ON THE BEACHES ARE OF SYDNEY.         (Our house was leased for almost two years, which is why our reviews are not current. However, the same warmth and hospitality is promised! The reviews often speak of us taking tours; we were doing this as part of SYDNEY WITH US but are now just leasing the house and assisting with touring advice if required.) An extremely comfortable bright and airy Sydney home located just a few minutes drive from the beautiful beaches of Manly. The home is an elevated position with leafy views over the district bringing wonderful bird life right to our doors. Manly Dam Reserve with its secluded bushwalks, flora and fauna is a few minutes walk away. We are located 5 kms from Manly Beach and 16 kms from Sydney CBD - with both City and Manly bus transport at our street corner (70m). The rates as quoted are for your exclusive use of our home for up to 8 people with all quality linen and towels included. This house also sleeps 8 people. ABOUT THE HOUSE The house spans 3 levels with bedrooms on each, the Master Suite/Parents' Retreat occupying the whole of the top floor. With 4/5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, the house can accommodate 8 adults easily. Two bedrooms have the option for Twin or King-size bedding - easily configured to suit individual requirements. The Master Suite (if you are renting the whole house in our absence) occupies the whole of the top level and has a Queen-size bed, luxurious bathroom including a spa bath with a view! It also has its own seating/TV area with private, district views. On the main level is the Balcony Room (Twin beds) with its own private deck. The main bathroom is directly opposite. (This bedroom is ideal for less mobile guests.) On the lower level you will find the Blue Room with its double bed and the Garden View Room with Queen bedding. There is also another full bathroom on this level. LIVING AREAS A large living/TV room opens on the upper deck. Here you will find leather lounges, plenty of reading material and board games. The lounge/dining area is separate (can be closed off) and has a piano, CD player and comfortable lounges to relax. GARDEN AND OUTDOOR AREAS The large garden is very private and leafy. All three deck areas overlook the back garden and one has a gas barbecue. Children's bikes are available for use. LITTLE EXTRAS We can supply you with beach towels, children's body boards, folding picnic chairs, portable cooler (Esky), picnic basket and all utensils. We have prepared a comprehensive folder with information on attractions, bus/ferry timetables, maps etc. We can advise on various aspects of your visit. These rates are for up to 8 people - fully inclusive. Rates for smaller groups may be negotiated, but not in peak times/public holidays. Reduced rates for stays of 10 or more nights. Please ask us. Lots of walking tracks nearby. Birdlife is abundant and comes right to our deck to feed. Allambie Heights village shopping centre with cafes and restaurants is less than 1 km; Warringah Mall - a huge outdoor/indoor centre catering for all shopping needs - is 5 minutes by car. The beautiful beaches of Manly are less than 10 minutes by car. A local bus will take guests to Manly Wharf to connect with the ferry to the city. In morning/evening peak hours, an express bus to the city departs/arrives the corner of our street. The journey to the city at this time is about 35 minutes. There is secure parking for two cars within the property.

The local bus stop, around 200 metres walk away from the property, can take you - to the beaches - to Manly's ferry wharf for a ferry ride across the harbour into the city centre - directly into the city - to train stations for longer distance travelling e.g. to the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley, NSW South Coast, Western NSW, and interstate. Quiet, friendly neighbourhood, close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. We work from home and have 3 teenage children. Transport Express buses travel to Sydney CBD throughout the day (50 mins) Chatswood (35 minutes) and to Manly Beach regularly (30 minutes), and are only five to ten minutes walk from our front door. We are also conveniently located 20 minutes walk from the area's largest shopping centre 'Warringah Mall'. 50 minutes by bus (L90) to Palm Beach. We can organise a door to door pick up / transfer from the airport with our local shuttle bus. Costs around $45 per person. Taxi would cost around $75 from the airport. About Us We are relaxed, friendly and have enjoyed hosting many people from many cultures and countries.
