The SpaceThis is a naturebased destination in a National Wildlife Refuge built on the site of a 1920s fishing camp. Very quiet, great skies, cool water and many trails. House is open and bright and full of local history. There are 2 beds and 2 bedrooms available if needed. Guest AccessCommercial stove and oven both gas and electric. Almost all of the second floor can be guests private space. Everything else is shared. Interaction with GuestsNormally here at the start but come and go. It is really a decision by the guest as too how much direction they desire. I know the region and state very well and have been very helpful to travelers looking for the cool cool places on their journey. The NeighborhoodIt is a naturebased neighborhood where you can see 250 species of birds over the year, alligators, deer, beaver, otters on and on. You can walk through the Wildlife Refuge 3 miles to downtown Sopchoppy and dine at the restored 1912 Pharmacy that is now fully restored and a gourmet house of pizza. Getting AroundNo transit plenty of parking Other Things to NoteThis Ochlockonee river basin was inhabited for thousands of years by native peoples. It is in a geological transition zone between Karst ecosystem and Sandhills ecosystems. Seldom are others seen while paddling or hiking. Much of it and the islands around us are unexplored.

The SpaceFolks love easy access to beach relaxing on spacious decks and cooling off in the pool Guest AccessGuest have complete access to the upstairs living home upper deck lower deck pool all grounds and parking. There is a downstairs separate 2 BR 1Bath kitchen bath totally furnished that I encourage you to rent to your friends or other family members.I will not rent to separate parties. I do reserve the right to come down myself and immediate family members for maybe one or two nights for the purpose of doing maintenance of the house and yard. I call the invisible guest it is your house and there is no intrusion of your stay I'm also open for discussing your wishes. The SpaceFall is one of the best times to be in this part of Florida. The weather is warm, the bugs are gone, and you can enjoy coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the deck. The golfing and fishing are fine and there are several special events going on in the fall. We are one mile from championship golf course with restaurant and 20 miles from one of Florida's top 3 beaches. Great Florida seafood nearby. Wi-Fi available. Master bathroom has Jacuzzi. 3 night minimum. Guests have access to the whole place. Owners will not be present. No pets please. Magnificent sunrises visible from master bedroom and living room decks. Also, the night sky is impressive due to few lights in the area. No Public transit. Covered parking included. Large balconies on both levels. Note: the rate is all inclusive, no add ons for cleaning, taxes, adm fees, etc. Guest AccessDaily rate, 3 night minimum. Quests has access to the whole place. The SpaceComfortable 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home right on the water. We're in a bay area so there are no big waves making it perfect for small children. We have Wifi and Dish network in both bedrooms and living room also has blu-ray player. Guest AccessGuests have acces to the entire home and the pier. Interaction with GuestsWe live just 45 minutes from the beach, in Tallahassee. We will meet you there to show you the home and will be available for any questions on our beautiful area. The NeighborhoodMost homes on this stretch of beach are generation homes. There are many "neighborhood dogs" wandering around but they're all very friendly. The cottage is in a very remote area but local restaurants and grocery stores are within 15 minutes drive. Getting AroundThere is no public transit so you will need your own car to get around. Other Things to NoteWe have beach chairs, beach toys and fishing gear for your enjoyment.

The SpaceThis home is on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in a sleepy old fishing community. Local seafood, local culture, and a get away for quiet and beauty. You have to love the water and the outdoors to visit here. Shopping is 20 minutes away in Tallahassee. We have two bedrooms and 3 people can stay here. One room has a double bed and the other has a single bed. Guest AccessGuests can enjoy kayaking. Fishing from the yard, or going to the beach. The kitchen, TV are for your use. I provide a continental breakfast for our guests. Interaction with GuestsI do work out of my home, but we can give you as much room as possible to enjoy your stay without us being in your way. We can offer a lot of information about the area. The NeighborhoodI love the water, the dolphins, the seagulls, the sunrises, sunsets, the boats going by, the quiet evenings in the tree swing. The volley ball most nights at the beach, and the friendliness of our neighbors. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation. I would suggest renting a car from the Tallahassee airport. We are about 35 minutes from the airport. Other Things to NoteAgain, you have to enjoy the outdoors and the water to be here. Not any night life.

Six year old beautiful home on the Gulf beach in North Florida. I built the home to sell, couldn't and put all the bells and whistles in the home. Spacious, satellite TV with surround sound, hardwood floors throughout. Large well equipped kitchen with eat in bar and spacious dining room with seating for twelve. Two sun decks and large screen porch facing the Gulf. Five thousand acre state park one half mile from the house with many facilities. House is very private and secluded. Second and more pets $50.00 ea. The Blue Marlin is in a very secluded and private location. The Zen like beaches in front of the house are virtually deserted. Thousands of birds and many forms of wildlife abound. It is truly like you went back in time thousands of years. There is a five star restaurant five miles from the house. House is surrounded by a state park of 5,000 acres with facilities, walkways into the wilderness, a great fishing dock and tables one half mile from the house. There is plenty of covered parking under the house. Many restaurants in the area from five star to paper plate, all seafood is fresh from the boats.

Fire pit and BBQ are available. Guest AccessBoat and trailer storage behind locked gate, can help you launch your boat to go fishing or give you advice on all the fun things to do in my neighborhood! Interaction with GuestsThis is a 1.5 acre property I am available on site if needed, if not needed then I won't bother you, but I encourage guest/hostess interactions! The NeighborhoodIf you have never been fishing for sharks or hunting for crabs, you won't find a better place than right here! The main deck makes a great place to wake up with a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise, or to unwind with a glass of wine while taking in the sunset. On clear nights, star gazing is a must! Guest AccessIn this small, gated community, guests have access to the lovely, professionally landscaped grounds, a private community swimming pool, and a tennis court. For boat owners, wet slips are available for rent in the on-site private marina. Interaction with GuestsOwners will arrange for access to the home, but will not be on-site to allow for plenty of privacy for guests. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with a gated entrance. No drive-through traffic, no crowds. Getting AroundGuests will need a car. Within walking distance are good restaurants, a well-stocked wine store, and a gas station with basic food items. Beaches, grocery stores, and popular tourist destinations are an easy drive away. Other Things to NoteThere are plenty of nearby destinations for those looking for an active vacation. Public beaches are a 15 minute drive to Alligator Point across the bay, or for the adventurous, a one hour drive to St. George Island, rated one of the best beaches in the world. More than 300 species of native and migratory birds have been observed on the island. Another great spot for viewing wildlife is the Wakulla River, a short drive down the road where turtles, manatees, various birds, and other wildlife can be viewed up close from canoes and kayaks. Also close by are the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, the St. Marks bike trail, the Ochlockonee River State Park, and Wakulla Springs to name a few. For shopping and more good restaurants, historic Apalachicola is within driving distance and is close to St. George Island. The St. James Bay Golf Resort can be found on the way. Tallahassee, Florida's state capital, is also a one hour drive. Or, if peace and quiet are what you're after, bring a good book, kick back, enjoy the view, and just relax!
