The SpaceRelax, make yourself at home and enjoy the house - an appealing New England post-and-beam cape, thoughtfully decorated with eclectic charm.
Sit and enjoy a cozy fire in the fireplace and perhaps curl up with a good book or a movie. Seasonally enjoy the patio with chimenea, screened porch, yard & gardens, and the 18' diameter tipi with fire pit, (also available as lodging for the adventurous! Please inquire if interested).
Up to three people can be accommodated in the house, (additional guests can be accommodated flexibly depending on your group, please inquire). Guest AccessGuests have the choice of two lovely rooms - with a double bed, or a single, as well as a private 1/2 bath. There is a well appointed kitchen, comfortable living room with fireplace and dining area, office with high speed and wireless internet, full bath with claw foot bathtub and separate shower. Washer and Dryer also available for use. Linens and towels provided.
Cooking is encouraged, OR wholesome, home-cooked meals (communal or private) are available at additional cost, (and depending on my availability, please inquire). Interaction with GuestsI enjoy sharing my house with visiting guests, friends and family, and I want everyone who visits to feel right at home, so I make every effort to allow guests their desired privacy level to enjoy their stay. Guest rooms and 1/2 bath are located privately on the second floor of the house.
There are two friendly indoor cats in residence, (they can be confined to my private room upon request when guests are present and are never allowed in the upstairs guest rooms of the house). I also share my land with a hive of honeybees and my flock of mixed breed chickens... complementary wake up calls provided by the resident rooster!
Please come, stay, enjoy! :) The NeighborhoodAbout The Area:
