The SpaceThis space is located in the basement of a home built in the 1950s. It has modern updates, yet retains the historic feel.
I have lived here over 20 years and take great pride in calling it home. My four children were raised here, but now I'm ready to share with others the place I love most.
I feel that my home is welcoming and has a feeling of serenity and peace. Guest AccessAll guests will have access to the shared full bathroom including towels as well as basic amenities.
There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Supplies for coffee and hot chocolate are included as well as bottled water.
There is a shared living room which includes 54" screen satellite TV and DVD player.
There's also a treadmill available and a selection of exercise DVDS.
They will also have access to a washer and dryer.
You are welcome to access the front lawn. With chairs to relax in, it's fully shaded.
There is a park with a newly installed splash pad and swimming pool within walking distance. It also has a walking path, toys for children, Frisbee golf, and large areas of grass shaded by trees. It is city maintained and very well-kept. Interaction with GuestsI love people! I love having the world opened up to me through the eyes of others.
However, I work full-time and also volunteer an average of 35 hours a week doing service in 12 Step programs.
For those of you who like privacy, the entrance is private and the space separate from my personal living area. The NeighborhoodI am located in a very low crime area. My neighborhood has a safe, hometown feel to it.
It's an older neighborhood where the trees and yards are mature. I love to hear the birds in the morning, and the crickets and frogs in the evening.
I love the unique look of each of the individual houses. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation to this area. However, it is less than 2 miles to a wide variety of restaurants, a large movie theater, and shopping, as well as EIRMC. Other Things to NoteI'm really looking forward to being able to share my home with others.
Although I am not at home a lot, I'm always available by text or phone call for any questions or concerns.
