The SpaceCreek View Cottage is located in the Eastport part of Annapolis. Eastport is a sought after location not only because of it's ease of walking back into Annapolis Main Street, but also because of its' warm and eclectic feel of yesteryear but also waterfront restaurants, grills, and taverns. CVC offers guests 2 bedrooms, they are listed separately under CVCking and CVCQueen. These bedrooms have privacy for entry and exit because guest enter upstairs with one set of stairs and owners have their own set of stairs. At the top of these stairs are the 2 bedrooms and one large shower and tub bathroom that is shared. With possible infrequent occasions, we mostly rent only one bedroom at a time so that mostly the bathroom is private to whomever is renting. We will sometimes rent both bedrooms together in the case of friends and/or family traveling together, but do reserve the right to rent them to separate groups should their be the unlikely need for one weekend. To help with a shared bathroom space, their is a 1/2 on the first floor that can be used when the upstairs may be occupied. All amenities such as wonderful linens on the beds, towels, shampoos, conditioners, dryers, etc. are all provided. Pack your essentials and let us provide the rest. Another room is available upon request. Guest AccessGuests will wake up to the smell of delicious coffee in the am. Your hosts love great coffee and if your up you will be invited to join us for a cup of joe and whatever is served that morning. Guests would be welcome to use some space in the frig for water bottles, etc, but as your hosts, we would expect you to eat your meals at one of the wonderful restaurants (unless weather is miserable, etc.). The TV room is also available for evening relaxation. Interaction with GuestsAs hosts we enjoy meeting our guests and enjoy chatting with them if they seem to be the type that enjoy that. If more private, we would honor that as well. The NeighborhoodIt's the wonderful eclectic feel of yesteryear on the water. Most of us on our small street still have our original 1920s cottage with some creature comfort remodeling being enjoyed. To wake up to the absolutely glorious and sparkling waters of the Chesapeake (Back Creek) is a pinch me moment. Getting AroundFrom the dock you can be picked up by the water taxi to go to a restaurant or back into town. There is a trolley system once you get downtown that can take you many places of interest in Annapolis. Walking to downtown Annapolis from our house is a very short walk over the Spa Creek Bridge, we make that trip over and back at least 3 nights a week, a wonderful perk of living so close to town. Other Things to NoteWe do have a puggle (part pug-part beagle) named Scooter. Sweet dog, but if you don't like dogs or are allergic, we would not be a good match for you. Sorry, because of Scooter, we DO NOT allow other dogs.

The SpaceI am offering my guest bedroom to host you. I have a two bedroom, two bath condo in a very secure building. It is 10 min. walking distance to Downtown Annapolis, City Dock, State Capital, USNA, shops and restaurants. The bedroom has a queen bed, and full attached bath. At this time, there is no tv in the bedroom but you are welcome to the tv in the family room. You may use the kitchen, but there are restaurants just out the front door, so you probably don't want to cook! The location is perfect! I have hosted on Air B and B before and you can see the comments from previous guests. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, fyi, I have two cats -- both are very sweet- one you will never see, the other is sweet and friendly. It is important for me that you have a profile on this site where I can learn a little about you, and not just your name. Having reviews also helps. So if you have just signed up and posted a picture and nothing else, please let me know more about you. I am happy to host you and help with whatever you need! Come, enjoy Annapolis!!

The SpaceOur beautifully-appointed home pays homage to the Colonial Period. It comfortably sleeps 9 guests with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It boasts elegant dining and living rooms. Enjoy the quiet street and an easy stroll to downtown Annapolis. We have taken great care to ensure that guests enjoy their stay at the Gilbert Thornton Renaut house -- this old-style post-and-beam house is truly a treasure. The house has a large, well-stocked kitchen that is great for aspiring chefs and bakers. It's large enough to serve as a gathering place, too, while meals are prepared. We try to ensure the pantry has sundries and essentials. The dining room seats up to 8 to feast on the culinary pursuits undertaken in the kitchen. We can arrange for additional tables and seating if needed. The living room harks back to the bygone colonial days with relics and furnishings of that departed era. It has a piano, a stereo, jigsaw puzzles, and other games such as trivial pursuit, bridge, backgammon, etc. In the winter, the roaring fireplace crackles and quickly thaws any cold fingers and toes. The bedrooms are spacious, furnished with comfortable beds and new linens, and have flat-screen televisions. There is a Roku player in 3 of the bedrooms so you can stream and there is a DVD player in the fourth bedroom complete with a DVD collection. The kids' bedroom also a closet of toys and bookshelf full of children's book. There is a washer and dryer available for your use in the basement. The house is centrally located so that you can go car-free for your stay and explore Annapolis on foot - unless, of course, you prefer the free Annapolis Circulator Trolley that stops at the end of the street or the water taxi that can whisk you away in unique style to downtown or to Eastport (during peak season only). The owners grew up in Maryland's capital, so they can provide endless advice on where to go, what to do, and how best to enjoy America's sailing capital. You can easily walk to the charming brick-lined streets of historic downtown-- where you can stroll along City Dock, watch boaters strut their stuff on Ego Alley, take the kids to battle pirates on the Sea Gypsy, captain your own boat, rent a canoe or a kayak or a paddle board, go on a walking tour or a ghost tour, take a trolley or Segway tour, or dine waterfront. Or maybe you want to see what it's like to be a midshipman. Visit the Naval Academy and take a tour. Still looking for things to do? Maybe art and culture is your thing. There are 25 fine art galleries within walking distance of downtown. Additionally, galleries and museums offer classes and sponsor year-round musical and performing arts events. Want free fine art? Who doesn't?! The Elizabeth Myers Mitchell Gallery at St. John's College is the only accredited fine arts museum in the area and admission is zippo, nada, nothing. Festivals and events abound in Annapolis. In-season sailboat races every Wednesday night...the First Sunday Arts Festival (free! and running through October) is an arts and craft show featuring 100 local and regional artists with live music, dance, street performers, food, and more... county fairs... seafood festivals... sail and powerboat shows... lights on the Bay... and this is to name just a few. We'd love to host you and help you plan your stay. Please note that higher prices apply for one-night rentals and event weekends, such as Commissioning week, boat shows, USNA Homecoming, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and similar. The calendar may not reflect higher prices during these weekends, so please do inquire. We also require a two-night minimum stay between May and October. Thanks. Guest AccessGuest have access to the main floor, the upstairs and the basement. Interaction with GuestsWe are accessible during guests' stays to answer questions and help when needed. We are local, too, so can come to the house if need be. The NeighborhoodThe house is located in the quiet, residential Murray Hill neighborhood. It's walking distance to both downtown and Navy Stadium. Getting AroundParking is on-street and plentiful right in front of the house. There is no permit required, and since the house is on a corner lot, there is loads of parking on two streets that front the house.

The SpaceThe trolly stop is at the Naval Academy Stadium, 2 blocks from the house. House is 1 1/2 miles from downtown! 2 bed/2 bath cottage. Rental is 1 bed/1 bath downstairs. Owner's suite is upstairs. Guest AccessWifi, moderate use of kitchen and appliances (I can make room in fridge, and microwave, toaster, coffee maker avail), back yard patio, free parking. I have free gym passes available to Premier Fitness in Annapolis. I also have bikes available and pool passes to my outdoor neighborhood pool 2 blocks away. Interaction with GuestsThe master suite with private bath and sitting area/TV is upstairs. I have 2 small dogs that will be home! The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is quiet, with plenty of parking, and you can walk to the community pier, or use the 1 mile track that surrounds the stadium for exercise. Getting AroundDowntown Annapolis has very limited parking, being a historic waterfront town. The city provides a trolly (usually free, called the Circulator), from the Naval Academy Stadium, which is 2 blocks from the house. Stadium parking is not free, but is unnecessary from my house (and there is plenty of free street parking at the house)! You can also walk downtown, it is 1 1/2 miles, so I don't recommend walking both ways. I have a parking pass for a downtown garage (near West Street and Ram's Head), that I loan to guests, and I have bikes with baskets, helmets and locks available. Also, an uber is $6 from downtown. From either BWI or Reagan Nat'l airports, a shuttle is available for $50 each way per person. Other Things to NoteThis is an older cottage and as such, does not have central air or heat. In the summer, I have a window a/c in the room and ceiling fan. In the winter I have baseboard heat. I also have an electric blanket and space heater if guests enjoy being extremely toasty, however, neither has ever been necessary or requested. Also, since it is "vintage", it does look somewhat aged, but has been scrubbed I assure you. However, there are cracks, chips, and worn areas that simply can't be avoided with an older home, I consider this character!

Guest AccessHot tub, beautiful outdoor living spaces, shared kitchen (which host rarely uses,), driveway parking, clean and bright laundry room, very large and well-appointed lower level family room with 50" tv and surround sound....great for watching movies. Interaction with GuestsWill usually welcome you in, show you around, then get out of your way and provide you as much privacy as you'd like. Happy to engage in conversation. More than happy to help you with local attraction, restaurant, etc ideas and directions The NeighborhoodDirectly next to large, beautiful park with biking/running trails, picnicing, waterfront, paddle boat rentals. 5 miles to beautiful, historic downtown Annapolis with variety of seafood restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and the famous Naval Academy!

In fact, the wine bar Vin 909 is literally a stroll down the alley from our home. Getting AroundDowntown Annapolis is within easy walking distance (less than a mile) over a scenic drawbridge. Their are numerous restaurants and pubs within walking distance from the house as well as the downtown area of Annapolis, the Naval Academy, marinas and yacht clubs. Getting AroundWe have a free trolley that tours the Annapolis area as well as an electric bus that can ferry groups to the restaurants in the downtown area. Other Things to NoteLovely open space to visit with family or friends
