The SpaceIt's just a twin bed with a couple inch memory foam topper for comfort. There is plenty of drawer space in my vintage childhood furniture, LOL! It's currently decorated with my daughters items and photo's of her since it was all I had for the moment, but I'll be updating it and redecorating as time passes. There are curtains in the space for room darkening/privacy. I have extra blankets in the closet for use as well. Guest AccessThere is no TV in this room, but you are welcome to watch TV on the main level or lower level family room. We have things in the closet, but there is some space in there for a suitcase and hanging items and what not. Interaction with GuestsWe work fairly typical weekdays and hours, but will be around weekends and daily evenings and early mornings. We are happy to chat or not chat about whatever! The NeighborhoodHam Lake is a fabulous quiet and safe community. We have a nice walking path that connects just a half a block up from us on 144th Lane. There is a lot of wildlife around. We see deer, turkeys, pheasants, etc. frequently. Ham Lake Park is close. There are a lot of restaurants and stores along highway 65. Getting Around35 miles to MSP. It's a short drive down Radisson Road to the National Sports Center. It is a mile and a half to Highway 65.

The SpaceThis massive 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom duplex house was an original farmstead home, and the property originally included much of the surrounding area. The owners, who live in the other half of the house, spent almost 2 years designing the major additions to the property that doubled the size of the house, including a soaring ceiling up to a large multipurpose open loft that overlooks the family room, dining area, and gourmet kitchen. The loft also has its own private outdoor deck, which sits high above the winding Mississippi River, offering spectacular river views. You and your travel companions will have plenty of room to spread out over the home’s expansive open floor plan with plenty of space for gathering and entertaining. Both the living area and master bedroom have gas fireplaces, and you’ll be able to enjoy views of the river from practically every room in the house. Soak your cares away in the master bathroom’s Whirlpool bathtub, perfectly designed to have direct views of the fireplace, river, and built-in TV. The master bedroom closet features a walk-through design that provides private access to the large laundry room, complete with in-wall ironing board. Another distinctive feature is the master suite’s separation from the other bedrooms by way of the kitchen, family, and dining rooms, allowing for ultimate privacy. Enjoy cooking delicious meals in the home’s gorgeous kitchen, fully equipped with a 6-burner gas stove, double ovens, prep sink, stainless steel appliances, custom cherry cabinets, large center island bar, and granite countertops. You’ll also find beautiful hardwood floors throughout the entire house, including all 4 bedrooms, with the exception of the loft and the formal living and dining areas. Interaction with GuestsEvolve Vacation Rental Network is on a mission to make vacation rental easy for travelers. Every property in our network has been vetted and verified so you can book with confidence. If you have questions prior to your trip, we are happy to assist you 7 days a week. **Free: Pontoon Rides (August Only). Please inquire with the home owner (subject to availability)** Have a truly unique trip to Minnesota by staying directly on the Mississippi River! This massive 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom duplex house was an original farmstead home, and the property originally included much of the surrounding area. Spend your afternoons lounging outside on the huge back deck, accessible from the family room area and master bedroom suite. You’ll find that the cozy front porch is a great spot to enjoy the home’s generously-sized front yard, or perhaps your favorite book and a cup of tea. When you’re ready to enjoy the river, head down the stairway out back, which will lead you directly to the Mississippi. A second set of gold silverware is in the dining room for the dinner party. Also a large 48 cu. foot refrigerator with freezer. A pull out ironing board for the quick touch ups and a full size ironing board and iron for other jobs. This is a sewing machine in this room. Additionally there is an upstairs office with computer and printer. The lower level has an enormous amusement room with an air hockey table and a basketball game. There is another large tv , a private bedroom with two full beds and a bath with shower. In addition there is a sauna in the exercise room. The house is private with no houses next door, lots of views of the golf course and surrounded by trees and nature. There is a three to five car garage ( depending on car sizes ). Built by the present owner and used as a summer home, little wear and with carpet and hardwood floors the home still looks as if just slightly used. All comfortable high count linens, down comforters for winter, summer blankets for the warmer nights, new towels, stocked with spices, cook ware, bake wear, paper products, soaps and whatever is needed to make your stay comfortable and special. I am comfortable in saying you will not be disappointed to rent this home. It is a special home for special people.
