Petit Payot Beach Hut
Petit Payot Beach Hut is located at St Sauver at the south of Praslin island. The beach hut gets its name from the Black Parrot, endemic only Praslin island! The Black parrots are more common on this part of the island and the tropical seaside dĂŠcor of the hut compliments the location of the hut being only 50 meters away from the beach.

Vallee De Mai National Park
An easy walking hike through the Vallee de Mai National Park can take roughly 1 hour or up to 3 hours, depending on the routes you choose and how much of the park you want to explore.
In the midst of this prehistoric palm forest, you will find the Coco de Mer palm â€“ unique only to this island and this forest, producing a nut weighing some 40 lbs or 18kg (which makes it the largest nut in the world.) Its extremely suggestive shape, which echoes the female pelvis, has made it renowned.
Other botanical wonders such as the Screwpine will also astonish you. Waterfalls will enchant you. The call of the Black Parrot, Blue Pigeon and Seychelles Bulbul will be some of the only sounds to break the stillness that surrounds you.

Wake up on the hut's veranda, enjoy the view of the ocean towards Mahe and the surrounding lush tropical forests perfectly complimented by the local birds singing away. This part of the island sees very little traffic and one has a sense of being at one with nature.
