Have a picnic or bbq at Heathcote Reserve or book a table overlooking the city at Blue Water Grill Steakhouse. Cycle and walk paths along the Swan River. Applecross to Perth Elizabeth Quay (10kms). Applecross to Point Walter Reserve (6.2kms). We have two Gekko Mountain bicycles and helmets for you to use upon request. Garden City Shopping Centre and Hoyts Cinema 8 mins drive. Getting AroundBuses every 15 mins to Perth and every 20 mins to Fremantle. There are a number of great restaurants, cafes, grocery, hairdressers, pubs and banks all within walking distance. Cycle and walk paths along the river to the City, Elizabeth Quays, Kings Park, South Perth and Como or the other direction towards Point Walter Reserve and Fremantle. Other Things to NoteThis apartment is on the 1st floor and access to the apartment is via steps. Sorry no wheelchair access. Our most appreciated feature is our peaceful and quiet environment. Whether you are travelling to Perth for business or pleasure Applecross is an idyllic location with a bustling village atmosphere, wonderful parks, including Heathcote Reserve with its breathtaking river views and amazing children's playground and the river on your doorstep. River walks are a must! A short two minute walk from The Sanctuary is the beautiful Swan River, enjoy the beautiful sunrise or sunset or enjoy the spectacular sight of the kite surfers making the most of the afternoon sea breeze. You can even take some kite surfing lessons while you are here! We provide beach towels, cricket set, picnic blanket and even buckets and spades so you and the family can enjoy the child friendly shallow water and beaches of the river. Dolphins and black swans are seen on a daily basis! Applecross village, a 2 minute drive or less then a ten minute walk from the townhouse offers coffee shops, restaurants, a gourmet supermarket and interesting shops to browse. Garden City and the Risely Street precinct offer a huge range of the well known high street stores, supermarkets and restaurants. All less than ten minutes by car from your front door. The house is comfortable with a lush, green, private tropical garden. Have a barbecue or just relax on the comfortable outdoor furniture. Books, toys, lego, DVD player with a range of movies and Wii are provided, so every member of your family is entertained! The NeighborhoodApplecross is a beautiful riverside suburb close to the city, river and ocean. The location cannot be beaten! Getting AroundApplecross is on a main bus route (Transperth), also close to the freeway, Canning Highway and the Canning Bridge train station. I'd be happy to chat! The NeighborhoodWe are located 50m to the park, 400m to a coffee strip with local grocery store, restaurants, cafes, newsagency and pharmacy. We are 700m to the Swan River which has panoramic views of the city. We are 30m to a bus stop which takes you directly to the train station and from there it's only 7minutes to Perth city. Getting AroundA direct bus line to Fremantle that is 100m away. Another bus line which takes you to The train station is 50m away. The train ride to Perth city is 7minutes.

Interaction with GuestsIf you arrive in the evening, I can try to pick you up from the airport (25 minutes away...this is subject to conditions) The NeighborhoodThe apartment is located close to the Canning river. This is a safe, upscale neighborhood with luxury homes. It's a 15 minute bus ride to the city. You can catch the bus just outside the apartment complex (1 min walk) There is a 24 hours McDonald's and a 24 hour supermarket, a post office and petrol station about a 10 minute walk away. There are also restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Getting AroundThe 111 bus runs from outside the apartment to either Perth or Fremantle. Canning Bridge train (metro) station is a few minutes away by bus or car. You can also catch the 114 or 115 bus to Perth. These buses all stop at Elizabeth Quay busport (formally Esplanade) From there, you can catch the 380 bus to the airport (T1/T2 - international terminal) or 37 and 40 to (T3/T4 domestic) If there is no traffic (after 9 AM), it usually takes about 15 minutes to get to the city by bus. Other Things to NoteThe apartment is on the the second floor. There is a laundry room outside the apartment but there is a charge to use the washer and dryer (I am happy to pay for your first wash)
