The SpaceOur High St house is fab for many reasons. It is absolutely filled to the brim with great art by local artists. It is also quite spacious which means there is always a place to go whether inside the house or in the garden if you need to relax, eat dinner or read a book! We live pretty social lives so we can give you great advice about local eateries, bar, attractions and tell you almost anything you need to know! We have unlimited fast paced internet, washing machine, TV, wii, ducted heating and cooling and a fully functioning kitchen with a heap of appliances that you are more than welcome to use! Interaction with GuestsLiving with you will be Hugh and Eliza. Eliza is a industrial design student and Hugh works in PR and both are often not at home. They are happy to hang out and give advice or help and are only a phone call away. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood has it all. There are a number of supermarkets and specialty grocers and shops within walking distance! There is a 24 hour gym only 200 meters from our house and a 7/11 only 300 meters from the front door! Being located on High Street means that Chapel street shopping district is a ten minute walk or a brief tram ride away. High Street is also well known for its cafes and boutique shopping. St Kilda is really easy to get to from our place as well! Getting AroundThe number 6 tram stop is just a few seconds walk from our house and there is Toorak and Armadale train stations only a brief walk away.

    The SpaceCosy & Comfortable Bedroom with Queen Sized Bed. This is my home I want you to enjoy its comfort and make it your home away from home. The Sitting room has a peaceful fish tank to enjoy a quite moment and large screen digital TV, DVD and a Digital Radio. A glass topped coffee table that converts to a dining room table. Kitchen is fully equipped. All is furnished in a modern style with some treasured family antiques. The apartment block has twelve units of which mine is on second floor. It isn't a party block but if that's what you are after there is near by Chapel St the hub of all things wonderful - great restaurants - you decide the which nationality - pubs, night clubs, movie theatres shopping and a fresh food and veg market. Also several supermarkets near by. There is amazing public transport - a train to the city (15mins) a short 2 min walk to station, a tram each end of my street as well as a bus. As this is my home I am very happy to share the contents of my pantry help yourself but please replace if emptied. Location Location Location is what Melbourne is about a greater spot to stay I don't think so come stay in my home while you discovery and enjoy my town.     We're a large family of 5. One is moving overseas May first and leaving her room available. We are located in Malvern, public transport on the doorstep and easy access to the city not very far away. Can hear the tram go past in the background. Its rambling old house and we've renamed it "Withering Heights" but it has beautiful original features. We are a close family and have a lot of fun together and we have added our eccentric touches to reflect this. There is only one bathroom which is supposed to be a challenge but its all fine. There is a second loo (toilet out the back) used in emergencies. The room available is basic but the double bed is very new and comfortable. And there is a view onto a vacant building block next door that is like looking onto a field in the middle of the city. We are an easy going friendly family and there's a fair bit of activity of coming and going and laughter in between. Would suit someone looking to stay with a family, not too fussed about luxurious surroundings.

I have a room available in my lovely townhouse, which is a real home away from home for you to enjoy your stay. Your Accommodation...... There is just me and my very friendly cat in the house so there is plenty of space in the house. I am easy going and love meeting new people and very happy to help where I can. My cat is also very friendly and loves meeting new people too ... especially if you rub her tummy. There is a lovely lounge/dining room and a spacious kitchen that you are more than welcome to use (with space in the fridge and cupboard provided for your own food). There is a balcony on the ground floor you can use to eat in the sun, overlooking the beautiful quiet, tree-lined street, along with a courtyard with outdoor table and chairs for 6 and a BBQ. The bedroom is up 1 flight of stairs so you will need to carry your luggage upstairs. Other facilities: * 1 bathroom and toilet plus a separate toilet and bidet * Washing machine and dryer * A large screen TV in case you want to spend some time on the comfy couch * Provide your own food but you may use my condiments. A wide variety of caffeinated and herbal teas and coffee are provided too for short term stays. * Wireless internet access is included too. I am happy for you to stay whether it’s for one night or a couple of months. Location.... Conveniently situated, the house is located just a 5 minute walk to the nearest station (Armadale) and less than 5 mins walk to the tram. Easy access to: - easy train access to the CBD - 13 mins to the Flinders St - 5-10 min tram ride to the bustling and trendy Chapel St with lots of clothes shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs - a short tram ride to the beach side metropolis that is St Kilda - 10 min walk to the designer shops and cafes of High St Armadale - one train stop to the busy shopping and restaurant precinct of Glenferrie Rd Malvern There are two trams within a 5 minute walk away that take you to the city or to St Kilda or Chapel St not far away. You will be find lots of great shops, bars and restaurants in all of the nearby areas as well as anywhere you choose to visit in Melbourne. Parking is free and unlimited in my street and you can usually get a park. The bedroom is upstairs, so it may not be suitable if you can't carry your luggage upstairs. My home is not suitable for children. About Your Host..... I am a very relaxed and easy going person. I have traveled a lot myself so love meeting and sharing with other travelers. I also love hosting and will help you with advice where I can and recommend some things to do and see during your stay. When I am around and not busy working, I am happy to have a chat. The streets are wide, tree-lined and very quiet. Its all very green. Getting AroundTrams or train only 5 mins walk away and only 15 mins to the CBD Other Things to NoteThere are plenty of drawers and cupboard space in the bedroom with a full chest of drawers to yourself and a section of hanging space. You pretty much have your own fridge and a small cupboard area in the kitchen.

It is truly a unique setting in the middle of our great city. No ordinary retreat, treat yourself, you and your partner or someone you care about, to an unusual unique get away for that special life celebration, some well deserved rest or for no reason at all. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, internet and television and other services like massage, well being, or even a bicycle ride are available by arrangement and at your request, some requests may require notice to organise but anything is doable! Getting AroundWe are located right across the road to the Toorak railway station with a short 10-15 minute travel into the Melbourne CBD. A five minute walk will take you to the bus or tram (Light Rail) into Melbourne. The NeighborhoodSituated in between Hawksburn Village, Toorak Village the studio is in Toorak, Melbourne's most exclusive, sophisticated suburb comprising of Melbourne's most expensive properties . It has abundant public transport and close to the fashionable Chapel St shopping Precinct. From there it is only a short walk or tram ride to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Across the Yarra River, you will find the world famous Rod Laver Arena, Olympic Park, MCG and many more tourist attractions within walking distance from the garden. In the meantime, supermarkets, banks, cafes, both upscale and causal restaurants are all reached within a short walk. Getting AroundTrams and buses are available from the corner of Orrong and Malvern Roads (about 200m). Toorak train station is about 450m away. Trains take 11 minutes to reach the city in 4 stops. They typically depart every ten minutes. Hawksburn Village is a 900m walk. Toorak Village is a 1000m walk. Carparking is available on the street. Other Things to NoteFor stays of more than 1 week a complimentary clean including change over of sheets and towels will be provided. There is a cat on the property but typically does not enter the studio unless invited.
