We can arrange laundry, cooking, cleaning, FISHING AND SURF ADVENTURES, transportation to the slightly farther away restaurants (Al Cielo - great French owners, best food in town, and Pasta La Vista-Italian style foods of all sorts and charming owner Stefan) The NeighborhoodEVERYTHING!
The locals are wonderful, the scenery is unbeatable, the wave is killer, quiet, secluded and everything you need to relax and reset.
Because of my great love of this village and the fact that it has given me so much, it is in my business plan to donate 10% (as is the local tradition of the Christian religion) of everything we gain from our business here back to the community. This is very important to me and the first project is to help clean up the community and work together with the community leaders to provide a trash service as the government is currently not supplying one. Currently the local method of dealing with trash is to burn it which causes a myriad of health and environmental issues. I hope to help preserve the beauty of the area by addressing this issue. So know that the money you're spending here is going to a GREAT cause.
If you would like to make a separate donation or learn more about this project please contact me directly through Airbnb or via email (EMAIL HIDDEN)
Thank you in advance for anything you are able to contribute. Your help is so appreciated. Getting AroundAll you need is reachable by foot!
**BOAT ADVENTURES TO FISH, SURF AND SCOUT WAVES, OR JUST EXPLORE THE LOCAL ESTUARY ARE NOW AVAILABLE**
The boat leaves from the estuary also reachable by foot, just a 5 minute walk.
There are two local places to eat:
Joes Place-a local surf hang with GREAT fried fish and all the Nica style classics
Pedro's-smoothies, typical Nicaraguan breakfast and more! Pedro is one of the most charming and helpful locals you will meet in Asseradores. He knows everything there is to know and speaks a lot of English!
There is a local venta or store called Dona Blanca that sells some veggies and eggs as well as snacks, pastuerized milk in a box, drinks, juice and all kinds of other little things you might need to find here.
If you want to visit somewhere a little farther away, such as Al Cielo (amazing Pizza, beautiful view and wonderful French owners) or Pasta La Vista (swimming pool, neat modern decor and charming Canadian owner), two other great and close by restaurants we can easily arrange a taxi or some kind of ride for you. Other Things to NoteORGANIC GARDENS
You will find food growing everywhere on the property. Please be respectful of this by NOT smoking or using harmful chemicals around the precious and living sustaining plants.
We are very excited to announce that we are using completely organic growing practices here. We have had a lot of fun experimenting and dealing with the challenges remote living has presented in terms of our organic cultivation goals.
If this is your area, we are always more than happy to hear advice and ideas from our guests and love to collaborate. We are always learning and just want to give these little guys the best chance they have to be fruitful, happy plants!
We are also more than willing to work out trades in this area as a fresh perspective is truly in valuable. Please contact me if this is something you are interested in.
