The SpaceCentury House is surrounded by wide-open green spaces, pastures, gardens and mature trees. The house faces a wide, rolling expanse of undeveloped farmland across the road for unparalleled views from the front porch. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to explore the grounds, stroll on the lawn and talk to the cows (from behind the fence). The barn is a nice backdrop for photos, but is off-limits to houseguests, please. Interaction with GuestsWe live next-door to the farm and are almost always around and available should any needs arise. We'd love to meet you when you arrive, but will give you space to enjoy the house and peaceful surroundings on your own. The NeighborhoodLocated just outside the quaint small town of Ashland, Ohio, Century House is just minutes from Ashland University, Mohican State Park, Amish Country and more. A great grocery store (Buehler's Fresh Foods) is just at the end of the road. Ashland's downtown district is in the midst of revitalization and features boutiques, antiques, a wine bar, coffee shop, our favorite Chinese restaurant (Peking) and much more. Getting AroundAmple parking is located behind the house. You'll see more Amish buggies than taxis in Ashland, however, so you'll want to bring your own ride. Other Things to NoteCentury House is located on a small, working farm, so while you'll have the house to yourself, you might see one of us in and out of the barn or pasture periodically. We have cows and chickens (behind fences, of course) on the property, but not near the house.
