The SpaceOur large air-conditioned two bedroom apartments sleep four (size: 126m2), and large three bedroom sub penthouse apartments sleep six (size 142m2). We also have a four bedroom apartment. There are two bathrooms, two balconies, a full size kitchen including dishwasher, full size fridge with freezer, oven, 4 hotplates and microwave. They are fully furnished including pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, sheets and towels, washing machine and dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner, etc. A complimentary secure car park is provided for a two bedroom apartment and two car parks are provided for the three bedroom apartments. Complimentary Foxtel is provided in all apartments. Wireless broadband internet is available for an extra charge. FREE wireless internet from foyer. The complex has a salt water swimming pool and barbeque area. We are close to the Wesley Hospital, Park Road coffee shops and restaurants, transport nearby including City Cat ferry, train, and bus, 5 minutes to the CBD and University of Queensland. All apartments are designated non smoking.

The train station is within walking distance located just next to the Wesley Hospital. Public bus is 200 meters walk. City cat ferry is 900 meters walk. Car not needed. Great location. We live in a 3 bedroom house in a fairly quiet neighbourhood, only 5 km from Brisbane CBD. There is kitchen and seperate dining/living area. There is off street parking available and also plenty of on-street parking. There is one bathroom with a bath shower and toilet, there is also another seperate toilet. The house is situated very close to the bus stop and also has letterbox within walking distance. There are two very friendly dogs that live outside.

The SpaceThis is a lovely quiet area really close to the Wesley Hospital and the CBD. Well suited to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 kids (one king size bed and two bunk beds). As this apartment is occasionally used by ourselves and family members please contact us first before depositing funds to ensure availability. The NeighborhoodBeautiful walks along the river Getting AroundYes - bus and train stops are in the adjoining street and you can park your car at the back away from the parking meters. Other Things to Note"Green Gables" is located in Auchenflower, just 3.5km from Brisbane's CBD. Walk to the legendary Park Road strip for great coffee and many restaurant choices or a little further to Rosalie for a wonderful selection of Eateries. Well worth checking out the newly constructed Frew Park - just a walk away on Milton Road and fabulous for kids. You'll find bus and train stops close by with frequent services to help you get where you need to go and park your car down the back of the apartment to avoid the parking meters. You should also try the City Cat fast ferry service along the river to Southbank with the new Milton Ferry Terminal completed just a short walk away. There's another wonderful kid's playground which has just been completed at Southbank - well worth checking out!

The SpaceWelcome to our Auchenflower home! We are only 10 minutes by bus from the beautiful Brisbane CBD and only about a 30 minute walk to city! Going to Southbank? You can catch the City Cat (a ferry) - about 15 minute walk to Milton ferry terminal, train is also only about 10 minute walk! Our house has only one bathroom upstairs & a shower in the laundry downstairs. It is a typical Queenland home and your bedroom has a double bed. Share kitchen. Verandah out the front & a deck out the back for your morning cup of tea. My husband feeds lorikeets in the morning which you may enjoy too. We only have on street parking. There are lots of cafes/restaurants within a 10 minute walk. A small supermarket is within this range too if you prefer to do your own cooking. If you do cook, we would expect you to leave the kitchen clean & tidy. We are also within a 15 minute walk of Suncorp Stadium (for those who love football!?!) We expect our guests to treat us & our home with respect. Vic loves playing golf (the word tragic comes to mind) & would happily take you for a golf game if you have the time. My obsession is patchwork & quilting in all its forms - so if a shop crawl is something you could handle, I will sacrifice myself to make sure you see a number of shops in the Brisbane area. We enjoy chatting & having a drink on the front verandah in the evening - you are most welcome to us. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is a family area - we have lived here for over 40 years and are now the oldest residents in the street - a dubious honour??? Although only one block from a main arterial road, it is a really quiet street. We have lovely neighbours and we know most of them. Getting AroundA bus stop is about 5 minute walk and 2 train stations are only 10 minutes away and the ferry terminal is 15 minute walk. All so convenient.

The Space•The space consists of a large bedroom with combined sitting area with 2 double beds. There is a flat screen TV & DVD player in the sitting area, ceiling fan, together with ample cupboard space for your belongings. •The bathroom provides a shower, vanity basin and toilet and hair dryer. There are disability rails in the shower if needs be. • The kitchenette is equipped with a 2 burner cooktop, small fridge, oven and sink. The area also has a small table with 4 available chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. •There also is an open space which you might like to use as an office. •You’re welcome to use the pool and perhaps enjoy a BBQ in the backyard. •Laundry facilities are available – with your own clothesline. •Wireless internet is provided, we just ask you don't stream movies or games please. You’ll also find at the Village, a small boutique cinema, a great deli, yoga and pilates classes and many other spots to tempt. A plethora of excellent shopping can be found a 3 minute drive (maybe 15 minute uphill walk) to Latrobe Tce. in Paddington. Bookshops, art galleries, health food, Woolies, gyms and also many Australia dress designers have outlets in Given Tce, the variety is endless... You're only 5 mins drive from Mt Cootha Reserve, a favourite national park with a plethora of walking tracks. You'll find both gentle and extremely challenging tracks to suit your preference. Getting AroundMy home is on the border of Bardon and Paddington, and so is very central and accessible to the CBD (2km distant). The bus stop is down the bottom of the lane together with a lovely park and playground. The airport, via the tunnel, is 20 mins drive. Paddington's main shopping strip, La Trobe Terrace, is up the hill and features a larger supermarket, clothing boutiques, a hardware store, book shop and of course cafes and restaurants. The central business district and Southbank are an 8 minute drive away. Suncorp Stadium is a 20-minute walk away. The Lavalla Centre is a 10 minute walk away. Wesley Hospital is 2 kms away – a 25 minute walk or 5-minute drive. Mount Coot-tha reserve, with its many lush walking trails, is a quick drive or bus ride in the other direction. Getting AroundA bus stop 300 metres away services the City. Milton train station is a 16 minute walk away - it's stops from there to Brisbane's main station, Central Station. There are two free visitor parks on the premises. Otherwise, there is free parking available on the street (just ask for a parking permit from me) GETTING HERE FROM THE AIRPORT: I recommend guests catch the 'Airtrain' to Central Station (about 20 minutes). From there, you can: - Catch the 475 bus from Ann Street, Stop 6A. Get off at Stop 9: 'Rosalie shops', then walk 300 metres up the hill to me. - Get another train to Milton Station (two stops away). Then walk about 15 mins to the apartment . Again, the last 300 metres is uphill. The trains are more frequent than buses. - Get a taxi - the easiest, but most expensive option. Situated only 3.5 kms to Brisbane city centre it is within walking distance of the famous XXXX Brewery, Suncorp Stadium and Park Road, Milton. It's also just a 5 minute drive of Brisbane's second CBD, Toowong, and, St Lucia's University of Queensland. And, 3 stops to Central Train Station. Cute cottages and Queenslanders make up over half of the suburbs’ steep, tree lined streets. It's a little known gem, with great eateries and boutiques. And, if it’s shopping you are after boutique shopping is unavoidable in neighbouring Paddington. The closest grocery stores are located at trendy Roma Street entertainment development - The Barracks, Paddington and Toowong. Auchenflower is the perfect location for Suncorp Stadium (Lang Park) attendees, to watch visiting teams succumb to our local sporting heroes and have somewhere magical to return to relive the event. Handy base if the city, Wesley Hospital or University of Queensland are among your visit sites. Nearby, Paddington, Rosalie and Milton boast some of the most fabulous cafes and restaurants Brisbane has to offer. Buses leave every 10 mins or so to the city and Fortitude Valley, from 300 m away. Alternatively, Auchenflower train station is a ten minute walk. The Brisbane Botanical Gardens is only a three minute drive (2km) away, and is a stunningly beautiful location for a picnic or walk through the 56 hectares of gardens. It also has the benefit of avoiding the morning sun in the summer months, and remains cool for most of the day, due to being mostly shaded. This is a medium sized bedroom room which comes fully furnished with a single bed, desk, chair, lamp, mirror, clothes hanger, cupboard, coffee table, foot stool, laundry basket and wastepaper bin. Park Road and Rosalie, with their numerous restaurants and cafe's are just 10 minutes away if walking, or 3 minutes if driving. There are also 3 restaurants and a convenience store even closer, just 3 minutes walk away. There is easy parking on the street and public transport is also very close by, just minutes walking, either by bus, train or Citycat along the river..
