    Happy days country retreat is a superb, recently renovated, farm house located in the small rural town of Roelands at the bottom of the Darling Ranges. Set on eighty acres of pastoral grazing land and rolling hills this beautiful old house has been completely restored with Jarrah floorboards throughout, brand new beds, and furnishings and fixtures that have maintained the integrity of the original design. From Happy days it's just a twenty minute drive to fine wineries, great beaches and the seaside coastal town of Bunbury and ninety minutes to the cosmopolitan state capital Perth. A slight turnoff the southwest highway and you find yourself in this little piece of southwest heaven. Happy days has spacious elegant seating rooms, sweeping all-round veranda, a fully functioning practical kitchen and dining area and is perfect for book reading getaways with nothing to disturb you but the toot of a passing train or the call of a red-tailed black cockatoo, or as a perfect base to explore the world renowned Margret river wine region, ( one hour twenty minutes away ) and seaside towns of Busselton ( fifty mins ) or Dunsborough.       Angelicus Eco house is a modern light filled home, down a country lane yet 10 minutes to award winning wineries, breweries, galleries and cafes, mountain bike trails and to bush walks. Our home works on off grid solar power, yet has all the comforts and amenities. It has breath taking views, a fabulous covered deck, saltwater pool, slow combustion fire, peace and quiet. We rent our upstairs area to a an adult male with his 7 yo son who is here 50% of the time. He is also a chef which his services you arrange direct with him if you require them, otherwise our kitchen is your kitchen and you an help yourself to breakfast. We are a fun family, non smokers, non drinkers. We welcome you to interact with us and feel part of the family. Hang out with us or be free to hang out in your room. The NeighborhoodIt's a quiet location on top of a hill in a cul de sac. We are surrounded by houses and units but it's safe, secure and secluded. We would even do a further discount to someone who needs a place to convalesce. Chef on site, I'm a woman of many talents and have been an ambulance officer for 6 years, our 18 yo is a qualified aged care worker. The chef also is an easy listening musician. This would be a fun, relaxing place to stay. Getting AroundPublic transport is within walking distance. Other Things to Note15 minutes to Bunbury. 45 minutes to Busselton. 75 minutes to Margaret River. Plenty of local attractions. We have a selection of information of things to do in the South West.

      The SpaceUnit consists of the front section of our family home. Your private area is closed off via a locked door and privacy is assured. Private entry is from front of house into twin bedroom. Main bedroom has a queen size bed and an adjoining door to second bedroom with two single beds. Please note: access to the bathroom from the twin room is through the main bedroom. The TV room has a TV, bar fridge, microwave, cutlery/crockery, tea/coffee, a small sink and a sofa bed which can be folded out if required. The unit is completely private including your own bathroom and toilet and is closed off from the main house. Parking is just outside the private entry door. Access to the Leschenault Estuary is via a garden path, where you can enjoy use of the backyard with the owners.           Situated in old Australind not far from our first settlers in 1841 arrived being led by Marshall Waller Clifton arrived from England . It is a very quiet location with lovely neighbours willing to help if required only. Our garden has a lot of bird life as do the neighbouring properties. Our house is a new renovation featuring a huge deck area with views to Bunbury. It has an open plan living area with a wall mounted TV, there is a separate theatre room with a large screen TV and a leather lounge suite . The home features a old fire place with a electric log heater and also has a split system heating and cooling, the three bedrooms all have ceiling fans . It has one bathroom and a powder room. We also have a gym room with a treadmill , vibe platform , a spin bike , yoga mats boxing gloves and a massage table the room also has fantastic water views. It is walking distance to the Austraind foreshore and a major shopping centre with Cafes , Bank , Bakery , Hairdresser , Nail Salon , Chemist ,Home Wares , Fishing & Tackle ,News Agency , Florist , Novelty Shops, Coles , Aldi and take away food outlets with delivery services. Two minute drive to the boat ramp for crabbing and fishing you don't even need a boat , we have scoop nets to lend you . Close to Wineries and Breweries in each direction ,Arts and Galleries all around something for everyone. Ten minutes drive to Bunbury and the Dolphin Centre , Beautiful Beaches ,Art Gallery , Restaurants , Bars and Entertainment Centre. Fully serviced by Taxis and Bus .           The SpaceThis cosy home is set on a small cul-de-sac on a one-acre block that has trees, lawn and garden. With a Queen bed, a King Single and 2 singles in the 3 bedrooms it is perfect for a family, a couple or a group of friends. Bush Retreat is perfectly located for anyone looking for some quiet relaxation while still being able to easily access the city life of Bunbury and all that the beautiful south west region has to offer - especially suitable for families during the school holidays. Guest AccessThis home is fully self contained for the enjoyment of guests who have access to areas including living, kitchen and laundry. We are currently not living in the house so guests have full privacy and independence. A front verandah is available to enjoy the smell of roses and listen to the birds as well as a private patio out the back. There is also access to a washing line in the backyard. Interaction with GuestsWe are currently in Perth and therefore unable to welcome guests to the property. However, we will set up a comprehensive file with information you may require as well as being only a quick text or phone call away if guests require any assistance during their stay. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is very quiet with a semi rural feel. The house is on a small cul-de-sac with only residential traffic and therefore safe for young children who may want to ride their bicycles or scooters as long as there's adult supervision. Getting AroundThis home is just 5 minutes drive from Australind town where you'll find groceries, cafes and food options, a pretty estuary with crabbing and fishing and a lawned foreshore to relax at or try some wind or kite surfing. It is located only a short drive (20mins) from the heart of the Bunbury CBD which offers an excellent array of cafes and restaurants. Bunbury also boasts beautiful pristine beaches with the Back Beach directly on the ocean while the calmer waters of Koombana Bay offers calmer ocean swimming. Visit one of Australia's premier dolphin centres, the Dolphin Discovery Centre, where you can book in for a swim with these amazing creatures. Another short drive away is the beautiful Ferguson Valley with many wineries and walking tracks and what has now become a tourist draw-card, 'Gnomesville'. For a day trip head to Busselton, Dunsborough, Cape Naturaliste and the magnificent Margaret River with fabulous wineries and breathtaking beaches, all within easy reach.
