The SpaceOur home is comfortable and spacious, offering a large master bedroom with queen bed and master bath, and two smaller bedrooms, one offering a single bed, the other a double bed. A double-sinked full bathroom is across the hall from these bedrooms. A large second den in the back offers a double futon for comfortable sleeping and a half-bath. The newly-remodeled kitchen is a chef's delight, containing all the implements you'll need. The den has plenty of cozy seating and a t.v. with full cable and Netflix programming and a Wii with games. The master bedroom and back den also have t.v.s with cable. The kitchen is eat-in, with a small four-person table, but feel free to also use our large dining table in the living/dining area - this seats six to eight people, and offers a piano and separate couch.
An outside patio offers several seating options, including a large table and grill where you can enjoy the summer evening outside. We have a trampoline kids will love to bounce on as you cook your burgers. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire house. Feel free to use our bicycles, as well! Interaction with GuestsWe will be leaving the house during this time (and will have a house-sitter if we can't rent the house out), but we have family nearby who will be able to get you in the house and show you around. The NeighborhoodOur house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in a nice residential area in the central part of Farmington. We are just a few streets away from the local library, several restaurants, a movie theater and shops. The closest grocery store is about a mile away. Farmington is right in the heart of the Four Corners, with a lot of great southwest attractions nearby. We are within a few hours' driving distance from such great southwestern locations such as Mesa Verde National Monument (90 miles), Grand Canyon (240 miles away), Chaco Canyon (74 miles), and Durango Colorado and the Rocky Mountains are only a short 45 minute drive away. We are also about 20 minutes from the best fishing in the southwest - the Quality Waters. The Bisti Wilderness is also nearby - great for hiking and sight-seeing. Hiking and camping are popular activities in our area. Getting AroundThere is a Red Apple Transit bus that stops not far from the house, but Farmington and surrounding areas is best served by car.
