Under the Ambalama besides the natural stream, visitors may sit down and enjoy high tea as the sun sets or even plan a special dinner for 12, choosing from sophisticated menus that present a choice of both English charm and Sri Lankan gourmet fare.
Walking alongside the Ambalama, with gardens dedicated for play and through meandering paths around streams and watering holes, The Paddy Island experience expands to large lawns in one area and an al fresco pantry on another, complete with fridges and ovens that can cater to large parties as easily as it can offer pre-arranged Sri Lankan cooking classes to discerning travellers.
The Paddy House is located just 2-3km inland from Unawatuna and Galle. The beach is literally just 5 minutes away, however Paddy House is a private oasis in the middle of paddy fields. You can go from a crowded beach to your peaceful cottage in minutes.
