The SpacePlease note that we have 2 rooms available in this house at Bald Hills. This room is the smaller room with a Queen Size bed that sleeps 2. The other room (2.Brisbane Nth-$31/Night!) has built in wardrobes a Queen Bed & Single trundle bed so can sleep 3. The single bed is a single sprung mattress. The Queen beds are a memory foam mattress!... Very Comfortable! :) We're located in a Commercial area so we are close to EVERYTHING!! .... It's a 2 min walk to the Bald Hills Train (URL HIDDEN) a 1 min walk to the local Tavern .....The Post Office, Cafes & Pizza shop are all less than a min away!! .....There's even a gym next door, so you can keep fit on your holidays!! .....We have a Pool and Table Tennis table and Darts, in our mezzanine area. .....We run our business from this location so a ready supply of Sno Cones, Fairy Floss & (URL HIDDEN) a 35min train ride to the Brisbane, (URL HIDDEN) a 1/2hr drive to the Glasshouse (URL HIDDEN) a 50min drive to Australia Zoo ((website hidden)) and the Big Kart Go Kart Track at Landsborough ((website (URL HIDDEN) a 1hr drive to scenic Maleny on the Blackall Range WHAT YOU (URL HIDDEN) Air Conditioned room with a Queen Size Bed, desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers & clock radio with alarm + a single trundle bed (it slides underneath the Queen bed, when not in use) ......FREE INTERNET ACCESS, VERY FAST ADSL 2+ UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS!!; Foxtel & coffee & tea .....Use of the Lounge room, Kitchen, Mezzanine Area & back Patio Area. MEZZANINE Area with Pool Table, Table Tennis, Various games including Trouble, Titanic, Monopoly, Chess, Poker etc... BACK PATIO AREA with a BBQ & outdoor seating PUSH BIKES - We also have 3 push bikes of varying sizes and helmets so you can ride to the parks close by or to the supermarket & shops!! BATHROOM is shared with my son Matt & if there is a guest in the other room then they will be using the bathroom as well. We find that it works fine as everyone seems to be getting up & organized at different times! LAUNDRY with washing machine & dryer LANDLINE - You are more than welcome to use our landline to make phone calls to all other landlines & mobiles within Australia. Interaction with GuestsAs we run our business from this location I'm usually around most days & would be happy to help with anything that you might need help with :) Please do not hesitate to ask me! :) The NeighborhoodWe love that everything is sooooo close. There are 2 cafe's within walking distance. A hair dresser across the road.... A Tavern 2mins up the road where you can get pub meal specials! The Post Office & Bus & Train are just minutes away AND there's a Gym next door! AND not to forget the Medical & Dental Centre that's also next door (other side) Then you have Aldi, Bunnings, a late night Chemist, & Subway only a 15min walk away! Getting AroundCouldn't be easier. Train 2 mins down the road & a 35min train ride into the City. Bus 1 min around the corner that goes to Chermside Shopping Centre (one of the biggest shopping centres in QLD). It's about a 25 min bus ride AND Strathpine Shopping Centre is only 1 train station away! Other Things to NoteBeing Brisbane North, it's a safe quiet neighbourhood at night & if sitting out on the back deck, you will probably see the possums trekking across the clear sheeting on the roof of the back deck!! PLEASE NOTE: The way that this 2 storey house is built, is not suitable for Children under the age of 13. The games room is situated on a Mezzanine which overlooks the downstairs area with just a normal railing, not a kid safe railing. I also have an open office with no door (it used to be the sunroom). It has all of my paperwork & documents and it is not possible to close this room off. Our lounge area has electronic equipment & a large TV that could present hazards for kids. We would hate to see anyone injured or have anything damaged at the house, so unfortunately, we are unable to have Children stay here.

The SpaceSemi self contained with your own kitchen and bathroom. Only one bedroom, and a converted garage/laundry next door. Lounge with a couch/ settee which sleeps two. We share the laundry facilities so this room should not be expected to be private. Happy to consider longer stays. Small pets ok on application. Guest AccessOven, microwave, fridge, electric kettle. cutlery and plates. Tea and coffee supplied sporadically. Interaction with GuestsTenants are in the other part of the property. Robyn - the property manager - and I are both available via phone and email. Robyn lives nearby and can come over if necessary. We have kayaks you can use if you have spare time. The NeighborhoodWe have a huge park with a salt lake just two blocks away. Lots of bird life at the lake plus turtles that are used to being fed bread. close to motorway exits. Getting AroundThe train station is just 20 minutes walk away, plus there is a $1 shuttle from the train which will drop you to the end of our street. It runs every 20 minutes from Gundulf St, between 7.00 am and 9.20, and 3.00 pm to 7.10pm. Other Things to NoteGreat walking routes nearby

The NeighborhoodWe are located in a friendly suburbia neighbourhood and close to parks for kids to play or just walking and enjoy the beautiful day. There is Bus stops within a 5 minute walk, the Train station is about a 20 minute walk away and a supermarket is just a 10 minute stroll through the park and 8 minute walk to a corner store, pizza shop, bakery, Laundromat. The SpaceG'day mate! Our clean and neat house is here to welcome guests all year round. Situated in the Warner suburbs, this neighbourhood has a safe and friendly feel to it, with a park just across the road, where you can enjoy a nice summers day, soaking up the heat and utilising the bbq that is provided. Perfect location for enjoying local scenic walks and the sounds of Australian birds in the early hours of the morning and at sundown. We generally work most days, and therefore will leave you to do as you please, providing you with information to work the TV in your own room, or in the rumpus room, use the wi fi and just chill in the pagola. However, with that said, we are always available for you to ask any questions regarding tourist information and advice. In terms of transportation, there is a bus that practically comes outside of our house, that will take you to the nearest train station. From there it is a 40 min train ride to the city. (URL HIDDEN) OR if you feel like staying in the area: The bus can take you to the nearest shopping center, 10 min bus ride, where you can shop for clothes, shoes, electronics etc. Our house is located half way between the gold coast and sunshine coast, so if you have a car it is very easy to jump onto the highway and head either north or south. Or if you are wanting to catch public transport it also is easy to get there and back! We do also offer more local sightseeing aswell; Mount Glorious is a beautiful natural hill top that offers cafes, some spectacular forest walks as well as several BBQ areas set in rolling parkland. Quite a remarkable destination that is only 20 minutes from our house. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to hang out in the living room and watch TV and make themselves at home Interaction with GuestsWe are here to answer any questions you have about the area, and are always welcome to give you tourist advice and brochures. We wont always be home, however when we are, you have the option to have as little or as much interaction with us. There's only three of us living in this large spread out house, and my parents are down at the other end of the house, so most times you will have complete privacy. The NeighborhoodMy neighbourhood is very family friendly and safe. There are several parks around the area and plenty of walking tracks for you to take a stroll. There are buses very close for those who want to get out of the area for the day. Food places are only a 10 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk. Getting AroundPublic transport is literally outside our door. The airport is only about 40 mins away, if not stuck in traffic

I live in a brand new 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in North Brisbane (Bray Park) with my sister (Mariah - 22). We have no animals. Our home is a 2 minute drive (10 minute walk) from a supermarket with a large variety of shops and a 2 minute walk from a park. We have a big kitchen and separate dining room with a great sized lounge room and all this opens onto a patio BBQ area. We love cooking so you can enjoy some tasty meals aswell. The SpaceWe live in a large older style house with 4 bedrooms. We are situated 17km north of Brisbane close to the Bald Hills train station and have a bus stop within one minutes walk. The room is a spacious carpeted bed room with Queen bed and the room is large enough to also fit a single bed (1-3 people). In the room there is a built in robe, bedside lamps, ceiling fan & has ducted air conditioning. The bedroom has beautiful views overlooking the Southpine River and guests will have access to our patio and pretty back garden area. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the lounge (we like to watch movies in the evening) kitchen, laundry, bathroom, separate toilet and outside undercover patio area. The kitchen will be shared and the bathroom will be shared. A parking area is available in the back garden Interaction with GuestsWe have had many overseas home stay students in the past as well as enjoying their company we have been able to assist them with finding their way around our suburb, transport system and able to offer advise on travel etc. We will interact as much or as little as you please The NeighborhoodWe live in suburbia with a country feel as we overlook the Southpine River. SHOPS The nearest shops are at Bald Hills on Gympie Rd (2 minute walk) These shops incorporate a variety of shops and services including a newsagent, coffee shop, shoe shop, post office, hairdressers, doctors, pizza place and others. The hotel is a 2 minute walk. Larger shopping centres nearby by are Chermside – which can be accessed by bus and Strathpine which can be accessed by both bus and train. There is a petrol station at Bald Hills just over the Railway line on Gympie Rd. Getting AroundWe are very close to public transport - train (3 minute walk) & bus (1 minute walk). Easy access to major shopping centres Chermside & Strathpine by train or bus and both less than 15 minutes drive. The train to the city takes approx 30minutes. Pick up & drop off to Brisbane Airport is possible & by negotiation. Other Things to NoteFor families - in addition to the Queen size bed the room is big enough to accommodate a single bed or portacot. We also, by negotiation, have an additional room that could be used for more guests. For students - we will be happy to consider Home-stay style accommodation

The NeighborhoodOur surrounding properties are all 2acres or larger, so you are surrounded by trees and bush. Clear Mountain Resort Restaurant is only about 8 mins away if you wished to enjoy a special meal or breakfast with fantastic views.The lovely village of Samford is 10 mins, with many restaurants and a gorgeous gift shop. Eatons Hill has a very popular Tavern; Albany Creek has restaurants, supermarket, banks etc. and is also about 10 mins drive. Getting AroundYour own transport would be necessary. Local shops and restaurants are 10 mins away. Approx 35 mins to the City. Rail is approx 20 mins away, and takes about 40 mins to the city. Other Things to NoteWe have no pets, and no fences, so our property is not suitable for pets. Kangaroos, koalas, possums and many different birds consider our property (and our vegies) theirs.

      The SpaceModern, light and airy space with two very comfortable beds. When we travel we want a place to feel homely, have super comfortable beds with nice bedding, a kitchen with everything you need, and a nice hot shower with thick towels. We have made sure these are what you have when you come to our place. The main bedroom has reverse cycle air conditioning and a 42 inch TV connected to chrome cast. The latex mattress is a recent purchase and ever so comfortable. The second bedroom has a ceiling fan and Queen bed. The room has plenty of hanging space with a built in cupboard. We love to cook, so the kitchen is stocked with quality pans, dishes and appliances including a fan forced oven, gas cook top, dishwasher, juicer, kettle, toaster,microwave and coffee pod machine. The fridge is always stocked with eggs, milk and bread to start your stay . We also provide tea and coffee, condiments, oil, plastic wrap etc...all the things you need but don't want to have to buy when you are only staying for a short time! The open plan kitchen, lounge & dining area is cosy and a comfortable leather couch means you can stretch out and watch some tv . It also has reverse cycle air conditioning. Off the kitchen is a laundry with a front loader washing machine, iron and ironing board. There are a selection of books and some board games which you are welcome to use. As well as a digital radio and Bluetooth speaker to play your own music. **The home comfortably sleeps 4 adults and the price reflects this. However, in the last photo we have added shows how we can set up the lounge area with a king single/ day bed that we can arrange to be placed if you need the extra space for a 5th person. This is on request only and some additonal charges will apply with having a 5th person and setting up the extra bed** Guest AccessYou will have access to the whole home except for the garage. There is free parking right out front. No car? No problems! You are within walking distance to the train station and bus stop that takes you straight into the CBD Interaction with GuestsWe usually meet you with keys, show you around and make sure you are confortable . If we can't meet you we can leave the key in a secure lock box at the property. We vacate the house when its booked through airbnb so its for your sole use. We live nearby and are available by phone or text should you need anything. We have prepared some information with details of local restaurants, and general info which should help settle you in. The NeighborhoodLovely parks and awesome playgrounds. Only 13 km from the CBD. Close to the Entertainment Centre, shopping precincts and the bay. Getting AroundWe are a 20 min drive from the airport. Depending on when you arrive we may be able to collect you for a small charge. The home is a 15 min walk from shops which include a Coles, Aldi, Sushi, Subway, Thai and Indian. There is a brilliant playground called Hidden World which is only 10 minutes walk as well as some bush tracks right on the doorstep. On Saturdays the Carseldine markets are held which has becone a well known farmers market around Brisbane. ..again this is within walking distance. A 10 minute drive will have you at the Sandgate foreshore which is a beautiful spot for walks along the water and to stop for some fish and chips. The train station is within walking distance which heads straight into the CBD as well as buses which will take you to Westfield Chermside, a huge shopping centre with some international brands...a great place to shop and burn through the credit card !!
