The SpaceLocated in a horse barn in the heart of Kentucky. Gorgeous panoramic views. The apartment is on two floors. On the ground floor is the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. Upstairs is the bedroom and sitting area. We have one queen size bed, and a futon. Guest AccessThere is a small kitchen with a fridge and stove. So, if you want to bring groceries for your stay, please feel free to do so. On the porch is a gas grill for cooking out. There is a fenced in yard for dog's. All dogs are to be on leads when outside the yard as we have livestock on our property. Interaction with GuestsYou can be completely on your own, or I will be available to help in any way I can. The NeighborhoodOur place is located in the country, yet close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and pharmacies. There are some great winery's and tours of local distilleries. Getting AroundHaving your own vehicle is necessary. Other Things to NoteMarkers Mark is only 15 miles from the barn. Also there are some winery's in our area that are second to none. There are golf courses and parks nearby as well. Also GPS may not be accurate in this area.

The SpaceThe bedroom is spacious with a private bath in the upstairs of a home located in the heart of downtown Bardstown. The room is comfortable equipped with a TV, coffee pot, hair dryer, towels, whirlpool tub and shower and some toiletries. Guest AccessGuest will have access to the kitchen and front and back porches. You may use the kitchen to prepare coffee, breakfast or light meals and snacks. Interaction with GuestsI may be on the premises while you are staying at my home. I will rarely be seen unless needed or invited to join in the fun. I have a small dog Peanut who will not be in your area or around you unless you want to enjoy her company. She is a very friendly older dog. The NeighborhoodI love my neighborhood because it is friendly, close to everything and filled with charm! Getting AroundThere are several taxi services, a limo service and also a horse drawn carriage for around the town tours. Other Things to NoteI will have coffee available. I will also have bottled water and may even have snacks! The steps going upstairs are a bit steep. You must open a door to go upstairs but it is not difficult...just different. The bedroom and living room have TVs with basic cable only.

The SpaceCharming home built in 1922 located in the heart of Bardstown. King size bedroom suite upstairs with private attached bathroom with whirlpool tub. Downstairs bedrooms have a queen size bed with a bathroom a few steps down the hall. The house is charming and comfortable. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, covered front porch with a swing....all minutes from downtown Bardstown! Guests have access to the entire house including, living room, kitchen and dining room front and back porches. I like to greet you when you arrive. I may or may not be on the premises during your stay, but will be in my living quarters that are in the house, but separate from where you will be residing. I love my neighborhood because I am close to everything! My neighbors are friendly and the homes are distinctive. Most everything is in walking distance. There is a limo service for bourbon trail tours and a horse drawn carriage for sight seeing in beautiful downtown Bardstown. There are also several cab services. The dinner train is two blocks from my home. Bourbon festival is blocks away. Enjoy the charm of the Most Beautiful Small Town in America! I have a small dog named Peanut. She is friendly and will only have interaction with you if you choose to. She will be in my living space only. The steps to the upstairs bedroom are somewhat steep. A door opens to the staircase that goes upstairs. They are not dangerous, just different. Guest AccessGuests have access to bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, covered front porch, back deck with gas grill. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and meal preparation. Interaction with GuestsI always try to be able to greet my guests when they arrive so I can give them an orientation. I am available by phone or text anytime. In the evenings I may be home especially during the week. I have living quarters in the basement of the house. You will rarely see me and only have interaction with me if you chose to. I respect my guests privacy. The NeighborhoodI love my neighborhood because I am close to everything! My neighbors are friendly and the homes are distinctive. Getting AroundBardstown now offers a taxi service and limosine service for guests. Just let me know your needs and I will set you up. I am in walking distance to downtown where restaurants, shopping and bars are located. I am also in walking distance to the Bourbon Festival held every September. Other Things to NoteI have WiFi, locks with keys on all bedrooms doors, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Guest have complete control of air conditioning and heat. Upstairs bedroom has supplement heat with portable radiator type heater and two window air conditioners. Bedrooms and living room have TVs with basic cable I also provide toiletries, a hair dryer, towels, sheets, extra pillows and blankets. Coffee is complimentary.

However, if you prefer privacy, I provide that as well. The NeighborhoodMy location is in the heart of our bustling town, yet while inside you feel very insulated from the goings on. Getting AroundThe Coppersmith's Shop is located in the center of Bardstown. There is a convenience store near and plenty of parking. The location is one block off the main street and within walking distance of shopping, dining, and nightlife. We have a taxi service available 24 hours a day. You will hear the clippity clop of our original taxi service...a horse drawn carriage. Other Things to NoteIf you desire a meal in the home, I can certainly provide one that is tailored to your taste. Steakhouse fare, Creole cuisine, or Uncle Spoonies fried chicken. Would you like a driver? I can shuttle you through the back roads of Bourbon Country. I delight in my guest having a most wonderful visit.

The SpaceAfter a busy day on the bourbon trail unwind at this downtown apartment. Walk to the farmer's market in the morning and make yourself a gourmet meal in the fully equipped kitchen. If you don't feel like cooking, walk to one of Bardstown's best restaurants located just beneath you, only steps away. After living in Bardstown all of my life, I know this is exactly where I would want to stay as a visitor. The NeighborhoodBardstown is a beautiful and welcoming place and we are proud to call it our birthplace and home. Now we are just as proud to share a piece of it with fellow travelers and we hope you will enjoy all of its simple pleasures. Other Things to NoteParking is available in an Airbnb dedicated parking lot behind the building. On street parking is often available as well. If those two options are full, you can park in the larger parking area behind the building.

The SpaceAbout one hour from Louisville and Lexington in the geographic center of Kentucky right in the middle of the Bourbon Trail. Guest AccessThe house includes the entire first floor which includes a sitting room up front, modern kitchen and dining room to the back, the Master suite (queen bed), and second bedroom (two twin beds). Three couples or kids? For an extra fee, we can convert twins to a king, or make a third bedroom. Just ask! Interaction with GuestsCall Cynthia. We will be delighted to make suggestions about local places of interest, places to eat, hike or bike, tours, etc. The NeighborhoodSet a few steps from downtown district, which has shops, dining choices, a farmers' market, places to stroll, and a real old-time friendly feel. From here you are a short drive to many central Kentucky landmarks! Other Things to NoteYou may park behind the house in the 2 spaces marked PRIVATE RESIDENCE. If you are the only guests, feel free to use both. DO NOT block the driveway to the left, which belongs to the resident of the carriage house behind us. You will have both a front and back door key. At present, entering andleaving by the back door is easiest, as the front steps are uneven. If you do go in/out the front, use caution. It is a 120 year old home! There is an apartment upstairs that shares the back door. The wifi is available under CINNAMON HOUSE and the password is 202goodDay You may use the kitchen, but please clean up after you are finished. Feel free to keep things in the fridge. Trash is picked up on Thursday AM. More towels are in the linen room off the kitchen. Please place recyclables in a separate container. The piano was tuned in the past year... feel free to use it.

The SpaceI have added Wifi, New 50 Inch Flat Screen HDTV, I have added Pots and Pans, full silverware, cups, I provide Coffee, and Bottle Water for all guest, usually another gift, either bourbon, fresh flowers, and a local snack mix. I will go out of my way to make sure Your trip is very pleasant. -A couple new items I have added at the suggestion of guest...A full length mirror in the bedroom, and a floor lamp for the Den area. Interaction with GuestsMy family has lived here for 97 years, and I know all the locals from police, to the mayor, liquor store owners, restaurant owners, and will be willing to put you in touch with all the right people. Getting AroundYou can walk everywhere I have Taxi Cards in my space and they are willing to give my guest discounts.

Other Things to NoteParking is available in an Airbnb dedicated parking lot behind the building. On street parking is often available as well. Interaction with GuestsTypically, I can be available if needed and try to meet everyone, but with the size of the cottage ... it's all yours! Getting AroundThe cottage is within walking distance of downtown Bardstown. The driveway will accommodate one vehicle, and there is additional parking right outside the door at the street.
