•a formal sitting room with wood burner
•Especially atmospheric dining room-seating 14 at huge oak table, high ceiling and wood burner.
•Snug TV room with flat screen TV and seating for 7/8
Cooking and dining
Cooking is a treat at Park House with a large well-equipped kitchen, which opens out into the dining room. There are also French doors leading from the kitchen to the outside patio and BBQ (Gas) area.
There are 2 ovens, 5 burner hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, 2nd fridge, 2nd freezer, dishwasher), larder. There is plenty crockery, cutlery, cups, wine glasses and serving dishes. The owners also leave a food stock of basics such as flour and oxo cubes etc.

Park House is set in 2 acres of garden, small orchard and vineyard with glorious view from most windows.
There is a spacious decked area immediately outside the kitchen with a very private seating area (12-14), large gas bbq, large sauna and outside hot tub-perfect for star gazing! There is a very large area of lawn and a croquet set for your use. Guest AccessGuests can access the whole house and have exclusive use. Interaction with GuestsWe will meet you at the house to show you around and will be available by phone should you need anything. The NeighborhoodPark House is in a wonderful position and is fortunate enough to have lovely country walks directly from the front door! There are many good country pubs where you can stop for a bite to eat and really soak up the beautiful Kent countryside.
The Elham Valley Way, a 21 mile promoted footpath, passes over fields and through woods and villages, it therefore provides a wondeful encounter for the long distance walker. The Way largely traverses the track of the old Canterbury – Folkestone Elham Valley Railway which closed in 1947.
The North Downs Way National Trail is a long-distance path in southern England, opened in 1978. It runs from Farnham to Dover, past Guildford, Dorking, Merstham, Otford and Rochester, along the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Kent Downs AONB.
Park House is a short drive (10 mins) from the historic and vibrant city of Canterbury with its vast array of historic sites, restaurants, theatre and shops.
There are some great beaches within a 15-30 minute drive including Dover, Whitstable, Botany Bay, Joss Bay and many more. (URL HIDDEN)

From London, travelling east on the M2:
Exit at Junction 7 onto the A2, direction Canterbury. Travel for around 15 Miles, passing Canterbury, Bridge and the first Barham turning and then exit at Junction for A(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), signpost Wingham/Folkestone. At small roundabout take second exit (right), turn right at junction after 100 yards and then take right turn after 100 yards (do not rejoin the A2). After 300 yards turn right at cross roads. Park House is on the right after 300 yards just after passing a churchyard on the left and before reaching the church on the right.
