The SpaceWhen your deck space is nearly as big as your house, you know you must be living large on the lake! Our house was recently renovated so everything inside is new. We designed the interior to have a beachy, summery feel.
Spacious kitchen with all the comforts of home has high ceilings, two ceiling fans, and skylights to let the light shine in. Oversized island gives plenty of room to prepare dinner at one end while playing a game of Uno at the other! Double French doors off the kitchen lead to a huge screened in porch, which extends the living space far beyond the walls of the home. Down a spiral staircase from the kitchen you'll find a half bath, another refrigerator, and a living room.
All three bedrooms have windows facing the lake and are equipped with ceiling fans. The bedrooms are basic as they are only meant to be in when you sleep! There is a king bed in one room, a leather futon in one bedroom, a leather futon in another, and two leather futons and a chaise in the living room downstairs. The futons are in between a twin and a full. The chaise folds flat into a roughly twin-sized bed as well. In the living room, the chaise and futon can be folded flat and pushed together for a roughly king-sized bed. The room with the king sized bed has the house's only TV and is set up with Netflix. For the other two bedrooms, you walk through one to get to the other.
Based on the reviews of our house guests, we have also recently added a couch and chairs upstairs to give more space to hang out during the cooler months. The couch itself pulls out into a roughly full-sized bed.
The deck is multi-leveled and can be accessed from the porch or from the lower level. Walk down the steps from the deck to our 150' of water frontage. Large, sandy point with tall trees overhead provides perfect shade for half of the point when you need to escape the sun's rays. Three picnic tables are provided for your grilled meals! We know how to have fun on this small lake, and we have lots of toys to enjoy. Swim out to our swim platform and jump in the lake, fish off our 30' dock, or take a kayak or paddle boat for a spin. Give stand up paddle boarding a try, or just swim in our beautiful North River Lake water! After a day of playing in the lake, rinse off in our outdoor shower, then relax in our 5-6 person hot tub.
**please note that swim platform and dock are removed from the water in late-September/mid-October** Guest AccessGuests will have access to our home, hot tub, swim platform, dock, boat ramp, kayaks, paddle boat, stand up paddle board, grill, and outdoor shower.
