The Space15 MINUTES TO RISD OR BROWN + on the water !! Small but VERY sweet bedroom with a twin bed in adorable cottage overlooking a bird-filled Salt Marsh and Narragansett Bay - 15 minutes from downtown Providence. Just minutes to the bike bath that runs from Bristol to Providence ( bike and kayak available). For RISD alumni, we are minutes to the RISD Farm / Beach. Modest bathroom that is shared with me and for that reason i would prefer to RENT TO WOMEN ONLY. Small dog and cat are well behaved yet think they own the place (and, just fyi, my college-going son has an apartment in the basement). Thimble is a bit off the beaten path and not easily accessed by public transportation - a car is pretty much a necessity. Cabs from the Providence Train Station run about $20.00 each way. Dinner + wine is usually available to hungry or tired travelers ( i am a good cook - vegetarian or otherwise) for $20 per person on an ad hoc basis as desired :o)
