One can watch the Canada Geese land on the large pond in front of the homestead, shop at Zabars, and see a broadway play in New York city the same day. Getting AroundOne needs to have a vehicle. This doesn't mean one needs to take it into the city. If you choose, you can park and take the train or bus in to New York or Philadelphia. Other Things to NoteAppalachian trail, the Crayola Factory, King of Prussia Mall ( largest mall in Pennsylvania), Blue Mountain ski hill, the Martin Guitar factory, and both Amish and Old Order Mennonite Communities.

The second floor has two bedrooms, a den, and full bathroom. Main bedroom has sterns & foster king bed. The second bedroom has two double beds. The den has couch and a twin bed. The full bath has double bowl vanity, tub and ceramic tile. There is an in-ground swimming pool in a private setting with views overlooking the stretches of sweeping butter valley farmland. A perfect place to see each season as it changes into the next. Will discuss pets. The home is located 1/3 of a mile from a major artery (Route 100) that runs north to Lehigh Valley and south to Exton. I am renting 75% of this large home and living in the separated remaining 25% of the home. There is an entrance into the living room through the sun room, and a parking-level basement entrance perfect for leaving ski equipment.

The NeighborhoodThe farm is situated in a conservation district and is set back on a no outlet road. Rolling hills and picturesque scenery of the countryside. Minutes from a nearby ski resort and minutes away from grocery shopping and other stores. A peaceful setting for a restful vacation. Lots of sightseeing year round. In the summer Dorney Park and Water kingdom is nearby as well as the Macungie community pool. A great meeting place for family and friends. Getting AroundCar is recommended to access the farm. Other Things to NoteThe farm has so many recreational/sightseeing opportunities throughout the year. Skiing, hiking, cycling, wineries, shopping, water park, community pools and more then anything...a restful setting on the farm.

The bed is a standard full size with a foot board, so it may not be best suited for anyone that is really tall. :-) If you would like a Queen sized bed, see our other listing. It was built in the 1850's as a way to transport iron ore to furnaces along the Lehigh River, including Lock Ridge Furnace in Alburtis, where the ore was used to make cannon and machinery. The Rittenhouse Gap mines were abandoned after World War I when the iron industry was drawn to the upper Midwest. One the the favorite locals weekends of the year is the Macungie car show. One of the country's largest antique and classic cars shows. Das Awkscht Fescht has been a summer tradition for all ages.
