Marine life is also abundant. Dolphins are regulars and whales frequently visit on their seasonal migration (heading north in April/May and south in October/November). SUPPLIES There are no shops at Depot, one of its many charms -- essentials such as bread and milk (and icecreams) can be purchased at the North Durras Convenience Store. There is a Woolworths, Coles and Aldi in Batemans Bay, as well as a good butcher (at Stocklands) and terrific oysters and fish at the Pearly Oyster Bar. The SpaceThe area is a very special spot that a large herd of kangaroos have made their home as they feel safe there and there is a lot of nice green grass on the lawns. The price depends on the number of people and the time of year. I have to give you a price if you have a large group as it depends on how many adults and kids. Sorry but some rather nasty people have left some bad reviews about the house cleanlyness. This is totally unfair! The large indian family who stayed had an issue with the studio having a bit of dust. This has been fixed now they didn't mention the main house which was perfectly clean. They probably had a lot of people stay and they could not use the main house as others were using it. Guest AccessThe house and the studio apartment on the same block. They are not rented separately. The studio is great for kids. Interaction with GuestsI give guests detailed information about things to do, secret spots, surf spots, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, snorkeling, diving, picnicking, Brush Island and the aboriginal reserve and restaurants as required. Price depends on the number of people who stay and the time of year. The NeighborhoodSo many pristine small beaches, the kangaroos, birds and possums who are often in the backyard, just drop a snag off the barby and see what happens after dark. Getting Aroundnot really but there is a coast bus that stops at Ulladulla/Batemans bay and perhaps the Bawley truck stop. Other Things to NoteIts a really great place for surfing, diving, snorkelling, mtn biking up the hills and toward Durras Mtn, also mountain climbing up the Castle Mountain and the pigeon house walk are very close by.
