The SpaceSemi finished basement apartment with private bedroom, living room, and kitchenette.
In the bedroom is a full mattress and there's a couch in the living room, so this listing sleeps 3 comfortably. Though if someone wants to sleep on the floor they're welcome to too.
In the kitchenette there's a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, coffee pot and blender. You're also welcome to use our kitchen upstairs should you want use of a oven/stove top. Guest AccessThere's a TV connected to a DVD player and PlayStation. We don't have cable in the house but you will have unlimited access to our WiFi. For your entertainment there's also a selection of PlayStation games, many board games, and you may borrow any of our DVDs or books during your stay. Connected to the tv in the living room upstairs there's Netflix and hulu, and a Wii and Chromecast, which you're also welcome to use when we're not home.
We do have twin 4 year old daughters so everything is child proofed. If you are bringing a child(ren) with you they're welcome to play in the girls' playroom and we have a playset in the back yard. If you need them, we also have baby gates and cots for use. The kitchenette isn't childproofed however, so a baby gate in the doorway fixes that quickly if needed.
Also available for your use would be the treadmill in the basement, firepit in the backyard, and the washer/dryer though you'd need to provide your own soap and softener. Interaction with GuestsMy husband is currently on night shift so he'll be available should you need anything throughout the day. I work full time as a nurse in surgery at a local hospital. I'm mostly available evenings, Thursdays, and weekends. The NeighborhoodThe on ramp to intestate 275 is literally at the end of our street. We are only minutes away from Jungle Jim's International Supermarket, Sharonville convention center, CoCo Keys water resort, Tri-County mall, Skyzone indoor trampoline park, Full-throttle indoor go-cart park, an antique mall and many other attractions. There's also many many restaurant and shopping options, as well as several Hamilton County Parks. We're just a 15-20 minute drive to downtown. Downtown attractions include several museums, the stadiums, concerts, plays, Schmale riverfront park, bars, restaurants, and many more. Getting AroundDuring your stay we request you park on the street, but not too worry because there's almost always a spot right in front. We'll also furnish you with the keypad code for the garage so you can come and go as you please.
If needed there is a stop for the public bus line on the next street over. Also my brother drives for Lyft and is available nights and most weekends. Other Things to NoteI'm a huge quilter. I have my own Etsy shop (The Quilt Geek) I mostly do baby quilts/pillows. I love doing a new technique with each project.
If you're a fellow quilter you're welcome to use my sewing room during your stay, though I can't attest to its cleanliness. ;) Also, if you've ever been interested in learning to quilt, or to sew in general, I'm always willing to give lessons.
Also, we can accommodate monthly rental requests. The longer you rent the more of a discount I am more likely to give. Though with long-term rentals we view it more of an apartment vs hotel/ B&B room. You'd be responsible for cleaning the space yourself. That includes linens, trash, and general upkeep of the space. However, we do provide everything you'd need to do so.
Another thing to note is that even though the space is completely private, there isn't a bathroom in the basement. You'd either be using the half bath on the first floor or the full bath on the second floor.
