The home is beautifully appointed and is wheelchair accessible. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, and large closet. The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa so the house easily sleeps eight. The kitchen is furnished with a new refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, a Bosch dishwasher, and a breakfast nook. Cook up a big meal as you look out the kitchen window at the beautifully landscaped front yard containing an ornamental cactus garden. If you enjoy cooking, everything in the kitchen is conveniently located so preparation is easy. From the kitchen you move into the dining room which seats eight. The patio table seats four and the kitchen dinette seats four, so seating for 14 is possible. The living room adjoins the dining room and features a large screen TV. Curl up in one of the many comfy chairs with a good book to relax after a long day at the beach. The screened-in porch (lanai), adjacent to the living room, is a great place for entertaining. It has a couch, two arm chairs, and the table that seats four, so there is plenty of room for guests. Cook out on the gas grill and feel the soft warm Florida breezes coming from the large, privacy-fenced backyard. The garage is large and has a washer and dryer for taking care of those sandy beach towels. Our neighborhood is quiet, with sidewalks and street lights so you may want to take an after-dinner stroll to Taylor Park to watch the sunset. The best feature is this homes location! Just two traffic lights to one of the prettiest beaches on the Gulf coast! One mile from the paved Pinellas Trail that runs the length of Pinellas county and is perfect for biking or walking. You are less than a mile from Taylor Park, a great place for birding, frisbee golf, and watching for alligators. Within a ten mile radius, you will find the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the home of 'Winter' the dolphin, star of 'A Dolphin's Tale'. Also, two well-equipped YMCA's, the Botanical Gardens and Heritage Park a nice little history park. If swing dancing is your thing, then Friday nights you can attend the dance at the Largo Cultural Center. In St. Petersburg, about 15 miles, the list grows: 1. The Pier: shopping, restaurant, aquarium, fishing 2. Ft Desoto Park: Old Spanish Fort ruins, beach, bike bath, picnic areas, bike rentals, concessions, fishing 3. Boyd Hill Nature Center: nature center, hiking trails - great place for photography 4. Weedon Island Preserve: fishing, boardwalk, hiking 5. Dali Museum: largest collection of Dali's in the in the world 6. Museum of Fine Arts 7. Holocaust Museum 8. Sunkin Gardens: kind of like a botanical garden 9. Wagon Wheel Flea Market / Mustang Flea Market 10. Baywalk: nice shopping center with large theater & bars In Tampa, about 23 miles away, you may visit the Lowry Park Zoo, the Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, a water park, the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), the Museum of the Arts, and for concerts, check out the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. For nightlife Ybor City in Tampa is a happening place. 90 minutes or so from the house, you'll find Orlando with all the theme parks. There is so much to do but take time to just enjoy the special place that is our home.
