You are about 5 miles from Silver Creek Preserve a premier fly fishing stream. This is probably one of the closest places to stay near the preserve. With three bedrooms you have a choice of a queen, double, or twin bedrooms. The double and twin bedrooms share a bath with shower upstairs. The master queen suite has a full bathroom and large closet space. If you take one bedroom you may be sharing the house with others. The kitchen, living room, decks and downstairs bath with shower can be shared by all. A washer/dryer is available should you need to do laundry. Interaction with GuestsThe Cove Ranch Manager will arrange to meet you at the start of your stay and ensure you are oriented. This is a working ranch so during the day there may be any number of activities relating to alfalfa irrigation, harvesting and baling. Cattle roam the back country of the ranch and guests are free to hike the "cove" and secluded areas near the back of the ranch. Wildlife is plentiful and elk, deer and antelope are frequently on the property. The NeighborhoodCove Ranch is a scenic 4600 acre ranch just south of Bellevue, Idaho. To the North are the Sawtooth Mountains with spectacular scenery and possible river rafting adventures. Ketchum/Sun Valley is a premier resort area with skiing in winter, hiking and biking in the summer, as well as golf and a myriad of events hosted by the resort. There are numerous good restaurants in Ketchum and Hailey, local grocery stores, and outfitters that are prepared to take you into the back country. Getting AroundYou will need a car, no local transportation is available. Should you come by air you can fly into Boise, rent a car, and be at the ranch in about 2 1/2 hours. If you fly into Hailey you can rent a car and be at the ranch in about ten minutes. To Ketchum is about a twenty minute drive. Other Things to NoteWiFi is available at the guest house but there is no TV.
You will be staying on a working ranch, please avoid interfering with ranch operations. There will be machinery on the roads, horses, cattle, birds, bugs and wildlife, so be prepared for a rural experience.
