The SpaceCozy bedroom with hardwood floors, (nonworking) fireplace, and private bathroom in fun eclectic neighborhood. Easy access to sidewalk path to view beautiful historic architecture. Very convenient to downtown.Large wrap-around porch and hot tub area. Architecturally intriguing home with a terrific porch/outdoor area, great for al fresco dining in the warmer months. The hot tub is nice all year round! Small TV with roku in room (Hulu, Netflix available). Desk and dresser in room. The bed is full size. There is only one room available for rent through Airbnb. Kitchen and washer/dryer can be made available upon request. Common areas are shared with house residents. Please park on the street during your stay (you're welcome to use driveway while loading/unloading). If street parking is a deal breaker for you, just send us a message and we will arrange to have a spot for you behind our home. We are all very active in the local area so we tend to come and go from the house frequently, and are usually smack-dab in the middle of a project of some sort. We probably will have minimal, but friendly, interactions with you during your stay. We prefer to greet our guests in person when they arrive, so one of us will arrange to be at the house when you arrive to make sure you get settled in. Scenic architecture, popular neighborhood for walking/running. Lots of beautiful, historic homes to see. There aren't any stores or shops within walking distance of our house (closest is about a mile away), but you can quickly and easily get somewhere in your car or on the bus. Our home is about 50 feet from a bus stop for the Cincinnati Metro, Route 43. It can get you downtown within about 15 minutes and buses run frequently. Street parking is readily available and a local shuttle can take you to/from airport (link provided upon request). Cincinnati also has taxi service and modern transportation services like Lyft, Uber, and Zipcar. Bedroom door has a lock you can turn from the inside; skeleton key will be provided with home access for your use if you prefer to lock the room while you are out and about. Pets: We have three friendly cats and two dogs. We keep the pets out of the guest room, but you are certainly able to allow a visit if you'd like. The dogs are well behaved large bulldogs that reside on the first floor (they don't come upstairs). One is a senior that has trouble getting around but is sweet as sugar. The other is an energetic youngster that will bring a smile to your face. Breakfast: We don't provide breakfast, you are on your own for all meals! However, there is a coffeepot, coffee, creamer, and sugar in the bedroom for your use. Guest AccessKitchen and washer/dryer can be made available upon request. UC, the hospitals and the zoo are just a couple miles. Xavier is about 5 blocks. The bus stops with frequency a scant block away. Many fine restaurants exist in the Hyde Park area, which is about 2 miles from our location as well as a few in Norwood and in St. Bernard, both just a little over a mile. The best mall shopping is in Kenwood, about six miles away but Hyde Park boasts many fine shops and malls as well. We are centrally located with easy access to both I71 and I75 as well as 562 known locally as the Norwood Lateral. There are several easy to follow surface roads that lead to the main areas of the city and downtown as well, that can get you there without any traffic, any time of day or night in just minutes. The airport, which is in Kentucky is about 30 miles away but if you want to get a better airfare you can fly into Dayton, a 50 minute drive. Special arrangements can be made for your special needs, so be sure to ask when you make your initial inquiry. Guest AccessPark out front and come in through the front door. The SpaceThis is the first room in our home we have refinished and designed top to bottom. It's light and airy during the day, and nice and dark for a good night's rest in the evening. The furniture in the room is antique, some heirloom some happy finds along the way. All of the bedding is brand new, and the carpets are regularly steam cleaned. New mattress as of July 24, 2015. Guest AccessIn addition to a private bedroom and bathroom, our guests are welcome to the kitchen, living, and dining areas. When you are our guest you also get full use of the driveway so you have one less thing to worry about when you travel. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as you'd like! Our work schedules are a little unpredictable. As a result, we may not be around much during your stay, but we'd love to share a cup of coffee and talk about Cincinnati, AirBnB, and more if you're up for some company. The NeighborhoodConvenient to Xavier University and lots of shopping in the immediate areas (Surrey Square and Rookwood Plaza are both very close). There is also a park at the end of our street, and a beautiful community church about a block away. Within walking distance there is a corner store and restaurant options. The Speckled Bird Cafe is just around the corner, which is a well known "pay what you can" bistro on Fridays. We also highly recommend "Gordos" a nearby burger and beer joint and "Sugar and Spice" a classic breakfast hole-in-the-wall featuring "wispy thin pancakes" that are absolutely heavenly. The area where we are located is very much an "urban suburb" of Cincinnati. It's a cultural and socioeconomic melting pot. We have many narrow one-way streets and on street parking. It's full of old homes (like ours), front yards, neighbors, etc. while still only being 5 miles away from the heart of downtown. We think all of these things bring charm and uniqueness to our neighborhood that we're excited to share with our guests! Because of the narrow roads and street parking many of our neighbors must use, we always make our driveway available for guest use. It just makes things easier! Getting AroundTANK transit options available from Montgomery Road (approximately 5 blocks from property). There are also taxi services, and if you drive you are welcome to use our driveway, on street parking, or the parking lot at the end of the road. Uber and Lyft are also servicing the Cincinnati area. Other Things to NoteYOU SPOKE AND WE LISTENED! We really appreciate getting feedback from our guests that make us increasingly better hosts and continuously enhance our space. Based on comments we have received, we have purchased a new mattress and topper for our listing, added a coffee and tea service available 24/7 in our kitchen, cleaned out the entire drawer of our fridge for long-term guest use, and have added photos of our entire home to the listing so you can see the shared spaces as well.

There will be limited interaction once you are checked in, since we will not be on the premises except for maintenance and/or to provide you what you need. We are happy to advise you about the area. The SpaceOlder house with modern appeal. All the things you will have and need to call it a second home! The home is located in Pleasant Ridge. Interstate 71 and 75 is nearby. Norwood, Oakley and Kennedy Heights surrounds my location. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we are an urban working to middle class neighborhood. Half the street are apartment dwellers, while the other half are homeowners. I live about half way down a no outlet street, so you won't hear much street noise from my location. Since we are centrally located in Cincinnati, you will find easy access to the suburbs north of us and downtown to the south of us. Within the area, you will get the hustle and bustle of the city on the outside with the charm of a cozy cottage on the inside. I will promptly answer any questions you have before you consider our home. You can also look over past guest reviews. There is alot to be said about the experiences of guest stays first hand. For those last minute stays, I will try my best to accommodate you. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon! Guest AccessKey Lock on site for late night arrivals and/or flexible check-in times Laundry washer and dryer use in the basement I have a second Airbnb listing. There is an apartment that sits in front of the house. The house is seperate from the apartment. The yard, sidewalk space and basement for laundry use are shared areas of the BNB. Interaction with Guests I will periodically be around for BNB maintenance and cleaning. I will not at all enter without agreed advanced notice from you. The whole house is for you to enjoy, with the exception of a shared locked basement for laundry use. If you are staying over a month and need mail delivery, I can coordinate that with you in advance. Lastly, if you need to be picked up to and from the airport, I can do so more competitively priced than a taxi. Just let me know far in advance so that my schedule can meet with yours. The NeighborhoodCity life can be noisy, but my street is surprisingly quiet. The house is located in a diverse working class neighborhood on the rise of revitalization. I've made it my home for 8 years. A few streets away feels like suburban life. However, I live on the edge of Pleasant Ridge where the area is city living mostly compromised of black neighbors on one half of the street and the other half being white. Some may feel uncomfortable, but I have felt safe being familiar with the area and knowing some of my neighbors. Getting AroundIf you want to get around without using your car, there is a metro bus stop at the end of the street. I recommend using it for Bengals or Reds games or anything Fountain Square and downtown. Other Things to NotePlease briefly read over your info sheet folder when you check in. The house manual should answer most of the frequently asked questions I have had in the three years of hosting.

The SpaceThe house is a 2-story with an unfinished basement. 2 Bedrooms (1 queen, trundle - 2 twin beds, and a double blow-up mattress if needed) and 1 Full Bath. All bedding, towels and basic essential items (toiletry, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, etc.) will be provided. The kitchen has all the basic appliances and serving-ware (french press and Blentec blender :)). The fridge will have personal items, but you may add your items as needed too. Also, feel free to help yourself to any condiments/ spices in the fridge or left of the microwave. There is a washer and dryer for use in the unfinished basement. The living area has a 39” TV with the basic channels, a DVD player and Apple TV. Also, free wi-fi. For parking, there is a private driveway that will accommodate two mid-size vehicles. The house is ideal for a couple, two couples, a family of 4-6 or a group or 4-6 people. The house sleeps 4 comfortably, but can accommodate two extra people for an additional charge. The sofa or blow-up mattress could be used for the additional people. As mentioned this is a 2-story, so small children and elderly may have trouble with the stairs leading up to the second floor where the two bedrooms are. It's worth mentioning that the house isn't the Ritz, but cozy, clean, and convenient to downtown Cincinnati and a great alternative to staying in a hotel. Lastly, please note, a dog is housed when the house isn't being rented, so this house might not be suitable if you have allergies. Guest AccessOnce a reservation is made, AirBnb will communicate this information in the confirmation email. Please let me know if you don't receive it. Interaction with GuestsThere is self check-in and out, so there will be no interaction with me unless help is needed. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is very safe and convenient to downtown Cincinnati, but I recommend keeping all doors locked - house and car. Getting AroundThe house is found on the TANK bus line and close to the Southbank Shuttle pick-up and drop-off location (Medical Arts 103 Landmark Drive, Bellevue, KY). The Southbank shuttle goes to Newport, Downtown and Covington. Also, we have a Red Bike Sharing Program. The closest bike stations are in Bellevue and Newport (free parking on street for vehicles). Lastly, Cincinnati now has a streetcar. It's route is a figure eight and hits most detention spots within the city center. Though I highly recommend having your own transportation if you'd like to venture outside of the Northern Kentucky along the river and downtown Cincinnati. Other Things to NoteThe house is situated in Bellevue, KY, which is 3 miles from downtown. It’s too far for most to walk, but I run to the river and back (4 miles round trip) on a regular basis. There are two grocery stores (Kroger) within a 3-mile radius and a Whole Foods within a 15-mile radius. Northern Kentucky/ Bellevue/ Newport have lots of charm and is in close proximity to downtown Cincinnati.

The SpaceOne bedroom ready to go for your stay. Kitchen bar to host a small get together or just to treat yourself to the convenience of an extended stay. A large fenced yard surrounds the apartment for complete privacy. A firepit to hang around or to show off your Smores talent. A fold out single bed with a memory foam mattress to accomodate up to three guests. Close to both the 75 & 71 Interstate highway. This retreat is a must stay! The home is located in Pleasant Ridge. The City of Norwood is just a skip away. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, we are an urban working class neighborhood. Guest AccessKey Lock Box for Late Night Arrival and/or Flexible Check-in Times Laundry and washer use in the basement of an adjoining house I have a second Airbnb listing. There is a house that sits in front of the apartment. The apartment building is seperate from the house. The yard, sidewalk space and basement for laundry use are shared areas of the BNB. Interaction with GuestsI will periodically be around for BNB maintenance and cleaning. I will not at all enter without agreed advanced notice from you. The whole apartment is for you to enjoy. The house is located in a diverse blue collar neighborhood on the rise of revitalization. I've made it my home for over 8 years. Getting AroundIf you don't want to use your car or grab a taxi, there is a metro bus stop at the end of the street. I also recommend it going downtown for Reds or Bengals games or anything around Fountain Square. Parking can be hectic on busy weekends downtown. Other Things to NotePlease briefly read over your info sheet folder when you check in. The apartment manual should answer most of the frequently asked questions I have had in the three years of hosting.

Also you may use the gas grill and table and chairs outside. Guests do not have access to the rest of the house or to the kitchen. Perhaps you will join us for breakfast one morning, which typically includes farm fresh eggs, meat, fruit and occasionally a coffee cake or scones. Interaction with GuestsWe reside on the premises and are frequently at home. We enjoy meeting new people, but will interact as little, or as much, as you need or wish. Since guests have their own private entrance, autonomy is possible. To reach me call my cell phone; the number will be provided once the reservation is confirmed. Our dog, Bo, and our cat, James, live primarily upstairs and outside, but they might visit with you when given the opportunity. The NeighborhoodCome and enjoy a weekend in a lovely, rural, farm setting with frequent wildlife sightings. Cast a fishing line, or just enjoy the view from our backyard which includes a fire pit and patio with grill and picnic area. Visit a quaint river town of historical significance just a few miles away, which offers casual dining as well as other activities, including antiquing and boating. Enjoy live entertainment by RiverStage Theatre in the Historic Old Market Street School Auditorium. Performances included The Odd Couple and It's a Wonderful Life. Come see what's next. As a long time resident, I'd be happy to advise you on other interesting points of interest, including Westward into rural Clermont, Brown and Adams County as you trek across Ohio on your driving adventure. Summer is an exciting time in New Richmond, especially August, when they host the Cardboard Boat Regatta during a weekend of River Days celebrations. Great variety of unique restaurants including Front Street Cafe, Skippers (a barge on the river), Green Kayak (rents kayaks and sells burgers and beer), Bound and Loose Leaf Tea Room (soup and sandwich) - and more... (See our other listing "Cozy 3Bdrm, 2Bath Home - East Cincinnati" if Serendipity Farm is not available for your dates.) Other points of interest within a half hour's drive include: Woodland Mound Park (with wonderful walking trails and children's playground with a splash park). Other interests - Grant's Birthplace and the Rankin house. Ideal places nearby for boating include East Fork State Park and the Ohio River. You'll find a movie theater, restaurants, shopping and entertainment just fifteen minutes away, including newly remodeled Belterra Park Gaming and Entertainment Center (formerly River Downs Race Track). We are less than a half hour to the Great American Ball Park and other downtown attractions. Click on our Guidebook and map below for more details of local attractions. Getting AroundAn easy drive on un-congested U.S. Hwy 52 along the beautiful Ohio River starts your country adventure. Plenty of free off-street parking, of course, on our large property. If you need a lift from the airport (CVG is approximately a half hour away), just call. Bring your bicycles and ride the rolling back roads of Clermont County - it's only three miles to New Richmond. Other Things to NoteBe prepared with appropriate shoes and/or clothing for rugged outdoor activities. If the weather sends you indoors, enjoy a game of pool while you listen to '60s and '70s music on vinyl played on our vintage Pioneer stereo system - or challenge yourself by playing board games from our varied selection. A supply of toiletries, including shampoo, body wash, towels and linens is provided (no bar soap provided). Those who stay longer than a week will need to replace toiletries and paper products on their own, as well as wash linens and towels; access to washer and dryer is limited; upon request only. Exit instructions are on the premises.

The SpaceThis is the same listing as the 1 bedroom listing, but I have chosen to rent out my personal bedroom also along with the guest room for longer weekends and extended holidays. Inquire for availability since both calendars don't sync up. This is a new listing as of 11-11-14. I am excited to rent out my house. I spent nearly a month redoing my house and making sure to include every possible amenity I could think of that you may need on your stay. I live in the property, but have it entirely available when I am travelling for business. It's a 1300 sq ft 2 bedroom, 1 couch, 1 bath unit. This is a 2-family so I do have tenants living in a similar unit above. Bedroom has queen bed, many pillow style options, leather reading chair, make-up station with many personal items, extra blankets, and phone/ipad charging cables. Bedroom has a quick to use wall ironing board on closet door, iron, wrinkle releaser, and clothes steamer for your suitcase wrinkled clothes. 2nd master bedroom has a full bed and is not as hotel-like since its my personal room. Bathroom has towels, wash cloths, hand towels, soap, lotion and mouth wash dispensers and nearly any other personal item you may need in case you have forgotten anything (Individual use deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, female personal items, band-aids, make-up remover pads, nail polish remover and more) also a hair dryer, and curling iron In living and dining room --easily accessible outlets, with USB sockets and 3-in-1 charging cords in multiple locations in house --Desk with color printer, older but functional laptop--High speed wifi--60 in HD flat screen TV--AppleTV – Netflix, and XBMC (can watch literally ANY movie, TV show ever made, FREE)--Assorted board games.-- --Amazing porch with wooden Adirondack chairs, view of golf course.--Access to laundry available upon request. --Driveway parking for up to 2 cars, but its on the end of a seclude neighborhood street with plenty of street parking. Garage parking available during winter months. Kitchen: Dishwasher, Microwave, garbage disposal ( access to all my spices, cooking essentials, and condiments) Food is limited to mostly non-perishables.--Coffee Station – Cappuccino/Espresso maker with coffee grinder or personal coffee packets, stylish espresso glasses, coffee to-go cups Guest AccessThis is the full 2 bedroom unit. See main description. In colder month you can use the garage for your car. For longer stays I can provide access to the basement for laundry. Please request. Most items are available for use in the house. Coffee station, with a few coffee options fully available. Please buy your own food. I do have many non-perishable items that are fine to use. Condiments ( salad dressings, syrup, hot sauces, etc) cooking supplies (butter, flour, sugar) spices. I may have some ready to make items and other stuff in my personal cupboard. If you're there just one night and it's not worth it to go shopping, feel free to make something and just leave a few bucks to cover replacement. Toiletries: the bathroom is stocked. I have tons of shampoos, soap, mouthwash dispenser, disposable cups, Advil, antacids, Kleenex etc. If you forgot a personal item, I should have it. I have many one time use items like deodorant, tooth brushes, toothpaste, feminine products. If you forgot a bunch of things, they cost about a buck a piece, take what you need and leave a donation for any extras. Interaction with GuestsI do not rent the house if I'm there. So it's all to yourself like your own stocked hotel. I am always available to call or message if you have questions during the stay and have people that can help you with unforeseeable issues while I'm out of town. The NeighborhoodThis neighborhood is great! The area includes Oakley, Hyde Park, and Mt Lookout to the south. It's a great established neighborhood on a very quiet street. I usually do work on my front porch late at night. Besides downtown, it's one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city. Runners are everywhere in the summer. There are three squares nearby with lots of unique restaurants, breakfast spots, pubs and shopping. Three grocery stores are all a few blocks away. It's a bit spoiling, a 5 min drive for literally anything is "far". Getting AroundI don't take the bus, but there are many stops within 2-3 blocks. Unlike the west side, our neighborhoods are all just a few fast blocks from the highway 71 that goes straight south downtown (13min), also at the same on ramp 562 takes you straight west to 75, so no need to go all the way around the city. This is a HUGE area for Über. Many drivers pickup up most of their clients here. Some stay here all night making $5 trips from square to square or approx $12 downtown. Pickups are usually just 5-8min max. And just a minute or two if on a square.

The SpaceThe first thing anyone from Cincinnati says when they visit my home for the first time is that they never knew this neighborhood existed. Yet it is located right in the heart of the city...a hidden gem! The next comment is generally how amazingly quiet it is. So if your looking for a peaceful retreat but close to just about everything Cincinnati, consider my house on 'the hill'. You will have your own spacious room with queen size bed, tv (no cable here but all the NetFlix you want!) and wireless internet access. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen or hang out in the living room. Summer visitors can choose between front and back patios. Note: there is only one full bath in the home and Baby the cat rules the roost. (and occasionally Gine the dog is also here when her dad is out of town...) Another Note: winter guests beware...I have radiator heat. It's loud. It bangs, clangs, hisses and generally scares people who are not used to it. Guest AccessCentrally located between I75 and I71 about 7 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. Easy access to Xavier University, University of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Zoo, and Avon Fields Public Golf Course. About a 10 - 15 minute drive to Great American Ballpark, Paul Brown Stadium, Museum Center and many other Cincinnati attractions.

The SpaceThis updated 1920s house has everything you need in a home away from home. The house will comfortably accommodate three (four if you count the available air mattress). The upstairs bedroom is a sunny haven with full-size bed and closet for ample storage. Downstairs is an equally sunny (but much smaller) bedroom with a single twin bed. The living and dining rooms share the same classic details and new bamboo flooring as the rest of the house. You are welcome to play the dining room piano when you are not making use of the full-featured kitchen. Your morning coffee (or evening drink) may taste even better on the small back deck overlooking the fenced rear yard. Guest AccessYou will have keypad access to the front door, and you will have the house to yourselves. Interaction with GuestsYou can reach me anytime by phone or email with any questions or concerns. Need a restaurant or local music recommendation? Just call! The NeighborhoodThe house is in a tidy neighborhood of small houses. It is super quiet and safe. Expect to see neighbors of all ages out strolling in the evening, dogwalkers, the occasional teenage skateboarder... Getting AroundYou will have great access to all area destinations via local roads and highways (I-71 and I-75). Downtown and Over-the-Rhine bars and restaurants are 15 minutes away. University of Cincinnati, UC and VA Medical Centers, Christ Hospital and Children's Hospital are closer, and Xavier University is right down the road. Shopping and dining options in Hyde Park, Oakley and other neighborhoods are nearby. Public transit (bus) is available a few blocks away, but you really need a car to get around. On-street parking is always available in front of the house.

The SpaceThis apartment is in a unique 1950s hilltop bungalow. It has good natural light, spacious rooms with a private entrance. Security system, smoke alarms/ carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher. The apt. is clean, cozy and completely convenient. Sleeps up to three comfortably (one on the couch). Bellevue hosts a quaint Avenue lined with many shops for browsing, nice restaurants for dining in, take out/ delivery, dry-cleaning, places of worship, a river side park, newly developed condos, a children's playground park, neighborhood bar and more! The apt. is located in the lower level of my home, all one floor, the walk out is onto the parking area and small patio that is perfect for morning coffee or evening libations. Guest AccessGuest will have access to and from the KY based/ Cincinnati OH airport easily. This is a trip-state area resting on the banks of the Ohio River lined with parks - Indiana is 30 minutes away. The apt. has private parking under the car port. Large SUV's may not be accommodated. No access to second and third floor decks. Interaction with GuestsI hope to meet all of my guests in person and be present during their stay since I live in the home that houses this apt. I will be available to speak with the guests on the phone and online. Depending on the dates of the guest's residence, I may not be available in person. However, in that case my property manager will be available on as need basis. The NeighborhoodI love the old-time, small town feel with the contemporary vibrant urban action that makes up Greater Cincinnati! Bellevue is that old-time, small town from which one can view Cincinnati's skyline. These two communities are united in art and culture. There are several major art museums, two in which I volunteer, four universities, a newly installed tolley car convaience Getting AroundPublic transportation couldn't be more convent! The bus stop is one block from the apt. There is also a small "trolley" bus that travels through northern Kentucky and into downtown Cincinnati Other Things to NoteMany details about this apt. are noted. However, if potential guests would like to talk with me about anything not addressed I'm available by phone. Shampoo and toilet tissue is provided for short term stays. In addition to all that downtown Cincinnati has to offer, excellent grocery shopping and pharmacy, a Target, TJ MAX, restaurants, and many other stores are with in a 5 minute drive on the KY side of the river. Potential guests must personally ask Airbnb to release their phone number to me. In case of inclement weather snow plowing and necessary salt is in place to prevent difficulties in getting in and out of your apt. Of course, in a reasonable length of time time as your host I'm available to discuss and help out in unforeseen situations that might arise due to weather or any health issues you may have. In addition my property managers live right next door. Importantly: When checking out of the apt. return the key to the lock box on the doorknob and scramble the lock box combination.
