Also close to Tyagarah Ballooning and skydive centre... Interaction with GuestsYour stay is private and the only correspondence with host will be to manage bookings. The NeighborhoodLovely relaxed and safe semi rural feeling. Getting AroundMinimal transport but airport shuttles will drop off pick up nearby. Other Things to NoteAvailability can vary, but feel free to make a request even if not open in the bookings calendar. Often available over Easter and Xmas, so would be ideal for an extended break over this season. Particularly those wanting nearby accommodation for Bluesfest. Avoid traffic and have a beautiful retreat to rest your weary legs. Usually suited to 3 people, 2 extra can be accommodated with the use of large 5 meter canvas tent for $50 Per night. The SpaceIt is compact but has everything you need for a short stay in Byron Bay. Minimum 2 day bookings The Hut has a kitchenette with microwave gas cooker, rice cooker,sandwich maker, BBQ. There is a cute ensuite, a comfy queen sized bed, a wardrobe TV and sofa I try to be invisible to the guests however I am on call 24/7 if needed. We are in the area of Byron Bay where the locals like to go. We are only 800m from the centre of Byron and 50m from the Bay itself. But you will feel like you are in Bali with the relaxed laid back atmosphere. We are a short stroll along the Beach to the centre of town. There is nothing more romantic than a moonlight stroll along the beach after a great night of wining and dining. Family bathroom with bath and shower plus a separate toilet. Large open-plan lounge with 2 sets of sliding glass doors leading to the garden and pool. The open plan dining/kitchen area has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the pool and ensure the house is very light and airy. Large dining table that can seat up to 8. Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom has floor to ceiling windows looking onto the pool and garden. Good sized, private garden wraps around the house and overlooks a nature reserve at the back of the house. No neighbours behind us at all making it private and peaceful. 12ft trampoline 8 metre private swimming pool. Large screen tv with foxtel. Wii games -Netflix - Free Wifi Badminton, Boules (Bocce), beach umbrellas/shades, picnic hamper, pool toys and board games provided. Fully fenced garden making it very safe and private plus off-road parking for 2 cars. Outdoor shaded seating area, gas bbq, outdoor bean bags, dining table and chairs for relaxing. The nature reserve with small water pond is accessed at the back of the house so care must be taken with small children as this is not fenced off from the garden. Need cot/pushchair rental, surfing lesson, bike rental, whale watching trip, massage or a yoga class? We can point you in the right direction. Our local pub- The Sun Bistro - is a 10 minute walk from the house on the way to the local beach. We're a 5-10 min walk from Byron's amazing Arts and Industry estate - home to artists, fashion designers, homewares, yoga and martial arts studios. Also within 15 min walk : the Stone and Wood Brewery, Afends clothing and cafe, Bikram Yoga, Luscious cafe, L'Ultime French Patisserie outlet, 100 Mile Cafe, Hendrix & Harlow boutique, Santos Wholefoods, The Bare Road clothing, and Circus Arts (brave the trapeze like Brad and Angelina) 2 mins walk from the popular Folk Cafe for great coffees, juices, breakfast and lunch with a retro vibe. Byron's surrounded by a fantastic hinterland area and 15 min drive from the tourist villages of Bangalow, Lennox Heads and Brunswick Heads. Lots of tourist information will be provided to you as well as our local top picks! Getting AroundSunrise Beach is our closest beach and is 10-15 min stroll away. It's a 20 min flat walk into town or less than 10 mins cycling on the bike track. Bus stop is 2 min walk away that takes you directly into Byron Bay (less than 10 min journey). 5 min drive into town - depending on traffic. 5 min walk from festival bus stop -taking you directly to the Blues and Splendour Festival sites towards Tyagarah. 20 min drive from Blues Fest site. 45 min drive from Gold Coast airport 25 min drive from Ballina airport. There is off-road parking in the drive way for 2 cars. Other Things to NoteFor New Years Eve week the min. stay is 6 nights. For bookings that include both Christmas and New Years Eve - the minimum stay is 12 nights. Breakfast provisions for your first day provided - fresh coffee, tea, milk, juice, bread and local muesli. Pool Maintenance - if staying more than 8 days we will need access to the garden only for 1/2 hour to clean the pool. We set up a mutually convenient time with you to enable us or a pool company to do this. Foodies? This Security Bond relates to any missing or damaged items, excessive noise leading to complaints and general cleanliness of the property, eg. left in a clean and tidy condition, washing up done, BBQ cleaned and rubbish in bins, etc. Security call outs are charged at $165 including GST per call out. After a 2nd complaint you may be evicted without refund. Guests are responsible for missing or damaged items and cleaning expenses beyond the usual level for the property and will be charged accordingly. If a security bond claim exceeds the bond held, the guest agrees that any outstanding balances are to be paid directly to Beachside Byron within 1 week of notification including any associated recovery fees. If any claims are made against your bond, a $50 admin fee will apply and be deducted accordingly. NUMBER OF GUESTS – the number of guests must not exceed six (6) the maximum allowed at the property. The SpaceThe unit is located in the Sunrise Estate just off the main road into town. Byron is easily accessible by foot, bus or bike. Driving in peak times is not recommended as the traffic backs up on the single lane road into town. The bicycle path is always clear and there are 2 bikes at the property which you are welcome to use, just remember to lock them up! Access to Belongil beach is a short walk and from there you can walk all the way to town along the beach,(low tide to get around a patch of rocks) House has everything you need for a relaxing break, Wifi, HDTV, HQ Audio system, DVD player (and a whole bunch of movies), board games, Wii etc. Kitchen has appliances (juicer etc) and the lounge is an open space with big couches. A nice shady little garden with table and chairs and right next door to a park with bbq's swings, pagoda etc. We may ask you to water the garden while you are here but the only other rules are no smoking inside the house and please treat our neighbors with respect.     The SpaceOur house sits in amongst the trees in the beautiful Ewingsdale end of Byron Bay - close to the action but far enough away for peace and tranquility. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large and fully decked out kitchen and a large living and dining area - there plenty of room for 2 families or one larger one. Outdoors there is a large garden, deck, pool and parking undercover for 2 cars (there's room in the driveway for more.) Relaxing in the garden or on the deck you will see the beautiful wildlife in the area, including the occasional Koala. Other Things to NoteWe have a good friend living in the pool cabin on the property. He is friendly and helpful but he keeps himself to himself so your privacy will be fully respected. We don't have air-conditioning but the house is well insulated and there are pedestal fans in each bedroom.

    The SpaceHi we have a lovely, clean, fully furnished room, with comfy double futon bed, available for short term rent in our home. We're 2km from town centre, in a quiet area with no back neighbours. We are walking distance, through forest to beach, so there are lots of birds and even occasional water dragons.. Walk to supermarket. Close to the gym, yoga, pilates classes and public transport. Our home is modern, open plan with washing machine, microwave and all of the mod cons. Our long back verandah is sunny and warm on winter mornings, has 2 lounges, hammocks and tables. The room has a mirrored old style wardrobe and set of drawers. Fans and heaters. Share bathroom, and rest of house. We provide clean linen and bath towels, free wireless internet. There is a clothesline under the verandah where you can hang beach towels to dry. Price negotiable. Winter in Byron Bay is prime whale watching time and generally beautiful weather. the beaches are glorious, and there are national parks within a 45min drive. The closest airport is Ballina, and then Gold Coast. We are well travelled songwriters and speak Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French and bits of a few other languages. We play lots of acoustic music and sing spontaneously :) Guest AccessAccess through the front door to your own private room. Compared to the bustling town of Byron, we are in a quiet, suburban street and yet, great cafes are walking distance away, as is the beach. yes, it is paradise!! Getting AroundYes there are buses to town during daylight hours. The bus stop is only 1 block walk away. But it is a small town and buses are infrequent. Hitching into town is easy! Bicycles can be bought or hired in town. If you want to see the surrounding area, towns and National Parks, a car is essential. Other Things to NoteAlthough we are close to beach and shops, we are 2km from the town centre and buses are infrequent. I wouldn't rely on public transport. Town is a 40 min walk via the beach or 45min along the road. 3 min by car and 10 min by bike. It is easy to hitch into town.

At Belongil, we retain the iconic 70's surf culture. We even have a free (nude) beach to our north! Getting AroundThere is public transport and taxis...but it is a 800m walk to town.

Getting AroundA car is handy if you want to go sight seeing, but you can find everything, including the centre of town, within walking distance. Other Things to NoteThe Bay Beach is Byron Bay's playground. It stretches north from the Headland, the most easterly point of Australia. The water on the Bay Beach is warmer and calmer. South of the Headland can be wild and the water colder.

Within 2 kilometer, you can be walking in a Nature reserve, swimming in a tea tree lake, flying a plane, parachute jumping, going up in an hot-air-balloon or relaxing in a warm spa-pool while receiving a massage (WATSU). Views on Mount Chincogan. Getting AroundThere are buses to get to Byron Bay and Mullumbimby. Taxi service is good. Best to have your own car. Other Things to NoteIt is an Eco-Bungalow with ecological, composting toilet. Being a country home surrounded by lush vegetation, flowers and trees,it is not entirely free of critters, we provide mosquito nets for over the bed if needed.
