The SpaceBack 2 Earth is a self-contained apartment, farm stay and health retreat.
We have mini horses, Boer goats, alpacas, dorper sheep, ducks, rabbits and chickens. Come join us when we interact with our hand raised, friendly animals twice a day - mornings in between 8-8:30 am, and afternoons, an hour before sunset.
Children and adults alike are invited to observe or fully participate in the everyday life of our farming family, such as helping with farm chores, feeding and caring for the farm animals or simply enjoying the tranquility and space that surrounds you.
At Back 2 Earth, you can have as much free time as you wish or spend the day with Marc and Jenny. You might find yourself picking fruit and veggies, feeding the baby farm animals, fencing, sweeping out the farm shed, collecting eggs, or prepping food in the kitchen. At our farm , you can do everything or nothing at all, and the children can be looked after while parents relax and unwind on the farm, or go out for a much needed dinner and some alone time.
During the winter months, you can enjoy the crackle and warmth of the outdoor fire pit – make sure to bring your musical instruments for a sing-a-long. Guest AccessThe 1.5 bedroom is fully self-contained and very comfortable with all linen and towels provided. It can comfortably sleep 4. There is one large room with a queen bed and bunk beds, separated by a curtain. The B&B has its own entrance and veranda for privacy. There is also a log fireplace for those cozy winter evenings.
You will find a variety of books, games and DVDs for you to enjoy.
The balcony overlooks Berry Mountain, the Dam, the paddocks and the 5 acres of trees, greenery and fruit forest.
There are all the mod cons that you will need to make your stay pleasant – dishwasher, Wi-Fi, comfy chairs and a dining area.
We offer 1 night stays during the week, but prefer 2 night minimum bookings for the weekends and holidays. If you would like only a 1 night stay during those times, the cost is $250 per night.
Mid-week specials, minimum 3 days, are available: $400 (Excluding school holidays). Interaction with GuestsIf you feel like a massage, please organize one with Marc. He can offer remedial, relaxation, cupping, EFT and/or Reiki. Special price for Back 2 Earth guests is $80 for an 1.5 hr massage (normal price $120).
We offer raw vegan cuisine for those who are interested. $25 pp for breakfast and $50 pp for a 3 course raw vegan dinner.
Breakfast includes our own, fresh free range eggs and you are welcome to pick herbs and veggies from our veggie garden.
Marc also offers raw vegan demonstrations. $250 for 2 people.
Please bring gum boots to wear in the paddocks. Alternatively, bring indoor shoes and outdoor shoes. The NeighborhoodBack 2 Earth is a 5 acre property surrounded by the majestic hills of Berry and the sparkling, unspoiled Seven Mile beach. It is only a 5 minute drive to Berry Village, which takes you back to a time and a place where the world was less complicated.
The town is famous for its shopping and café culture and is a great venue as a base, whilst exploring the local area.
Back 2 Earth is just 2 hours from Sydney, 2 ½ hours from Canberra, and 2 ½ hours from the Blue Mountains. There is easy access by a daily train service that takes you to Berry, and we would be happy to pick you up from the train station at no extra charge.
We have a fruit forest with over 50 trees and several veggie gardens that cater for most of our needs.
Sitting on the balcony you will have superb, uninterrupted views of the sun setting behind Berry Mountain, and if you are an early riser, you will enjoy spectacular sun rises over Seven Mile Beach.
Throughout the day, the prolific bird life will keep you entertained with all their antics.
We have hand raised farm animals that would love some attention.
With 49 towns and villages, and 109 beaches, there is always something wonderful to do and see in the Shoalhaven.
Water-lovers have so much choice with a wealth of lakes and inlets, great surf beaches, excellent tidal and beach fishing, boating and water sports. Popular activities include kayaking on Jervis Bay, heading out to spot whales and dolphins from Huskisson, or going canoeing in Kangaroo Valley.
Nature enthusiasts can enjoy some excellent bushwalking, with an abundance of native flora and fauna to be seen. There are plenty of other ways to experience the natural surrounds – horse riding, cycling, kayaking and canoeing.
For the adventurist – get an adrenaline rush hang gliding, abseiling, car racing, 4WD driving, scuba diving, sailing, skydiving, quad bikes, canyoning to name a few.
On a cultural level, the Shoalhaven has many talented artisans showing their craft that you can immerse yourself in. Here you’ll find museums and galleries displaying unique works of art – take your pick amongst fine pottery, paintings, sculptures or arts and crafts.
Wander through the delightful country village of Berry.
Foodies will have a feast on the range of fresh produce farmed and harvested locally. There are also plenty of places for eating out.
The region is also home to 20 vineyards, and 11 cellar doors, as well as wine tasting tours over the weekends. You can also enjoy a game of golf.
The Shoalhaven has also become a popular with their food, wine and arts festivals. There are also weekend markets which will impress.
