The SpaceDancing Bears Cabin is situated on 4 hilled forested acres within the quiet mountain community of Beulah Valley CO. Access is easy and open year round being that we are just off the main road. Pueblo and all it's city amenities are located only 22 miles away. There are 3 sleeping areas. the master BR has a queen bed, its own bathroom & a HUGH walk-in shower. There is access to the outside through french doors. The 2nd BR has a double bed with outside access through the back door. The loft contains 2 twin beds and a sitting area. The kitchen boasts of "Icebox" oak cabintry, granite countertops, dishwasher and a Corning cooktop. There is the original old firplace which has been fitted with a gas insert. The furnishings & decor are an eclectic combination of lodge, antique, native American, country and comfy! There's laundry facilities, TV, DVR, & wireless connection. Whether you want isolation, peace & quiet to just kick back, relax & commune with the neighborhood wildlife or be involved in all that the surrounding area has to offer, this is the best place to get it & do it all! Guest AccessThe entire cabin is available to you. There is a garage & a shed outside which is off-limits. Outdoor chiminaea is available. The four acre grounds are just waiting to be explored. The entire valley has many trails to explore. Interaction with GuestsThere will be a contact person to assist you if need be. Phone number available inside with Welcoming Letter. The NeighborhoodThe small mountain town of Beulah offers a coffee shop with cappuccino and pastries, a restaurant with home cooked meals, a breakfast & sandwich shop, a venue for local musicians, two antique stores, a gift shop, a general store, gas station, a mountain park with an environmental education center & tons of hiking trails. The small town has many artists, wood sculptors, writers and interesting folks who have retired here. You can venture over the 12 mile cut off to San Isabel Lake for good trout fishing, kayaking or canoeing and camp or hike in Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Nearby are hot springs, the Royal Gorge, river rafting trips, Pueblo's River Walk, biking trails, & music festivals. The Pueblo Reservoir State Park is just minutes west of Pueblo offering all types of water activities. The CO State Fair is in Pueblo every August. Colorado Springs is 45 miles north of Pueblo (Garden of the Gods & Air Force Academy) and Denver with its big city delights is only 60 miles north of Colorado Springs. Winter offers many local alpine skiing and snow shoeing opportunities, snowmobiling, as well as Colorado's many ski mountains that are within 3 hour's drive. Getting AroundA car is needed to get around outside the Beulah Valley. Beulah town center is about 2 miles away from the cabin. An easy hike. Cars can be rented in Pueblo if needed. Other Things to NoteInfants & well behaved children are welcome but please be aware that the cabin is not child "proof". There is an open staircase, cupboards without locks, an open loft area to name a few. Please be mindful of the little ones at all times! There is a loft area above the sitting room off the stairway. It is primarily a storage space. Do not use it as a sleeping or play space as there is no railing to prevent falls off the edge! There is a woodburning stove in the sitting room which we do not want used for liability reasons. Please respect local wildlife. Do not leave food or trash outside; the bears will find it & come looking for you for more! Close doors when leaving as bears welcome an "open door" invitation! Deer, wild turkeys, fox, racoons, squirrells, & chipmunks come visiting often. Mountain lions and bears are seen quite frequently but are more stand offish. Know your bear safety rules.

The SpaceNeed a place to rejuvenate? We are on 4,000 acres of private, secluded and peaceful mountain land. The cabins and bunkhouse are cozy and close to the Lodge. Trails to hike & bike. Ponds and meadows to sit and rest. Guest AccessYou will have access to all of our mountain property ~ depending on how far you can walk or bike. Interaction with GuestsBoth Kelly and Rene will be available. The NeighborhoodWe are a working ranch and our property is spacious. We don't have neighbors but we do have wildlife: deer, elk, mountain lions, bears, owls, skunks, etc. Getting AroundWe are off of the beaten path; off of highway 165 and several miles up a dirt road. There is no public transportation, no grocery stores or restaurants. Even internet maps struggle to find us. (We'll text or email directions.) We provide breakfast with your night's stay ~ if you would like to have any other meals we can provide them at an additional cost. Other Things to NoteOur elevation is 7,400 feet. We have over 295 days of sunshine. Days may be warm but nights can be cold. Big skies ~ most nights you can see the Milky Way and sunrises are pretty awesome.

The SpaceThe entire space can be rented for listed price, up to four people, additional charges after first four guests. We also rent the space with individual Suites and shared common areas. Please request different pricing Two unique master suites with private bathrooms. Views of Pikes Peak from either room. A slipper claw tub adorns one room while the other displays a Kohler habitat including steam, lights, music teak floor. You can even view Pikes Peak from either bathroom. Vessel sinks and modern fixtures throughout. Mini Refrigerators are provided for each Suite along with a 40" full motion tilt LED TV's, which may be viewed from bed or while bathing. Beds are memory foam and or memory foam topped, we use crisp, clean fine, white bedding, comfy comforters and have plenty of back up throws and pillows. All bedding (including pillows) are Protected with hypo allergenic protectors. White towels insure everything is clean as well. There is a Kitchen in the space, includes everything you need. Dishwasher coming soon. There are also two living room/ family room spaces. One space has a 50"LED Television, sleeper sofa couch a coffee table and chairs. this is where two additional people in your party could sleep. The other area has a 65" television a large sectional sofa and a smoking bar. the bar is approximately 9'5' long by about 5'5" wide. nice for games, hanging out, large groups. Its a wonderful space, if you really had some people that wanted to join you in Colorado, two people could crash on the sectional. creating enough room for 8 guests. Dish network with Dish On demand available to all guests. Including HBO. PPV can be purchased along with Adult programing, we would be happy to help with that. Guest AccessIf you rent one room you will have access to your room, and all common areas including kitchen and both family/living spaces. the option for additional guests in the common areas are only available if you rent both rooms and add additional people. r. You are welcome to enjoy the front porch, the lower level, a Fire pit is available and we will be creating additional areas with fire pits. There is a large turn around parking area, with a walking path to the daylight lower level. Private access to the space. You can venture 10 miles west to Lake San Isabel for good trout fishing and camp or hike in Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Relatively near are hot springs, The Royal Gorge, river trips, Pueblo (Riverwalk and biking trails, jazz, a university), Colorado Springs (Garden of the Gods) and Denver with its big city delights. A short four hour drive south and you're in Santa Fe, NM.
