Other Things to NoteInfants & well behaved children are welcome but please be aware that the cabin is not child "proof". There is an open staircase, cupboards without locks, an open loft area to name a few. Please be mindful of the little ones at all times! There is a loft area above the sitting room off the stairway. It is primarily a storage space. Do not use it as a sleeping or play space as there is no railing to prevent falls off the edge! There is a woodburning stove in the sitting room which we do not want used for liability reasons. Please respect local wildlife. Do not leave food or trash outside; the bears will find it & come looking for you for more! Close doors when leaving as bears welcome an "open door" invitation! Deer, wild turkeys, fox, racoons, squirrells, & chipmunks come visiting often. Mountain lions and bears are seen quite frequently but are more stand offish. Know your bear safety rules.
