The SpaceOur house was built in 2016 and is located in a very quiet area of Adamtar village. Ram's parents who are living in the house are growing vegetables and have chicken and goats. Their son Rajaram is studying and will be the contact person for guests. Our home is perfect for a few days away from everything and relax in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. Guest AccessGuests will have a private bed room with a king size bed. There are two bath rooms. The bath room inside the house will mainly be used by the guest only and has a western style toilet and shower. Interaction with GuestsLiving in the house are the parents, and their son Rajaram. We are not living in the house ourselves but will coordinate all arrival details with Rajaram and he will be picking up guests from Adamgath and will be available throughout the guests stay. The family will provide simple Nepali style meals (mostly vegetarian). The NeighborhoodAdamtar is a small village community and the people are mainly living from farming. It is ideal for relaxing walks and experiencing Nepali culture. For interested guests we can arrange additional activities, eg. trips to local schools if they are interested. Our quiet rooftop with beautiful views is ideal for reading, meditation or just relaxing. Getting AroundThe best way to reach us is by travelling to Adamghat, which is situated 56 km west from Kathmandu on the way to Pokhara. Local buses stop there and it is easy to reach by taxi or private transfer from Kathmandu. Rajaram will be able to pick guests up from Adamghat and bring to our house (30 minutes walk). You will need to cross a hanging bridge on the way to Adamtar. Other Things to NotePlease be mindful of the limited English knowledge of the host family. But we are available via phone and keep in touch with the family throughout a guests stay. There are limited facilities available in the village. Rajaram can guide you to the few basic shops available in the village.
