Above 25 family groups only, no party and single groups. No garage parking available mid-April through late November, but there is space for 2 vehicles in the driveway and lots of room in the garage for your bikes and other gear.

The SpaceTrue Ski In/Out, just step off the deck and your on the run. Picture yourself with a book in your hand sitting in the leather arm chair next to one of the 3 fireplaces in this beautiful log Chalet. This, of course, is following a fun day of skiing, skating, tube-sledding and snowshoeing. The chalet is situated right on the slopeside of the bunny-hill, so you can ski right in and out. Or, you can watch a group of little skiers get their first ski lesson, while you sip hot coco on the balcony. Once you have gone night skiing, you can get into the hot tub and gaze at the spectacular view of the valley below. Perhaps you would prefer to sit in the steam shower for a little while instead. The Master bedroom is on the very top floor with its own ensuite, TV, fireplace, King size bed and soaker tub. There is also a desk/reading area overlooking the great room. (complimentary wireless internet) The main floor has the great room, large fireplace, a dining area, and a large kitchen. On this level there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with a steam shower. The first level has an entertainment room with satalite TV, DVD, bar (sink, minifridge, counter-top), a very spacious bootroom, and full laundry room. There is also two bedrooms on this level that have double sized bunk beds. This is the level that you ski right off the deck onto the slope. Below that is a very large double garage and double car-port. (room for 4 cars, 2 in and 2 out). Both the great room and the entertainment room have double-size sofa beds. In all this chalet has 9 beds with room for 2 in each. Typical renters have been family's, retired mens sports club, ladies get-away weekends, and honeymooners. Pets may be allowed, with owners prior consent at $50/night. Service dogs are welcome at no additional cost. They run a security business, so they check the chalet often (they would not go in during a guests stay without knocking or prior knowledge), and are there for guests who have questions or need help with anything. If you book 3 nights or more, I will reduce the weekend pricing to the regular rate. Christmas, New years, March Break and Easter have 5 night min.

The SpaceWe own the unit beside this one (The Bellevarde Chalet Unit C). You can rent both units and accommodate up to 18 people. This chalet is finished with lots of wood and slate to give it that classic mountain chalet look and feel. There are incredible views from the living room window and private hot tub. The rest of the mountain is accessible from the ski trail which is located directly in front of the chalet. Guest AccessThis is a fully furnished and equipped chalet. You will have access to everything that you need to make your stay awesome. Interaction with GuestsWe can use email to stay in touch with each other. The NeighborhoodThe reason why we bought this chalet was because we were tired of the noise from people living beside us or above us. There is nobody living above you and since we own the unit beside this one we have some say when it comes to the neighbours:) Getting AroundThere is a free shuttle bus on the mountain or if you prefer you can ski down to the lifts which will take you anywhere you want to go. There is also a great walking trail that goes through the forest and ends up near the village. This trail is lit at night and it is level for easy walking. Other Things to NoteWe must charge 5% GST in addition to the posted rate. The airbnb system is not set up to automatically charge the GST so once you have booked the chalet your rental fee will be increased by 5% by us. The Kelowna International Airport airport is about a 60 minute bus/shuttle from the property. There is a shuttle bus available from the airport to the resort. Phone use is included in the rent. The SpaceOriginally constructed 1967, this post and beam structure was one of the first cabins built on Big White Mountain. The home was newly renovated and updated in 2012 to include modern conveniences while preserving the historical features of this unique property. The cabin is comprised of two separate apartment, and is ideal for an extended family, two families who like to vacation together, or a family travelling with a nanny. Each apartment is self sufficient with its own entrance, kitchen, living room, fireplace, sleeping spaces, bathroom, and laundry facilities. The upper apartment has one bedroom (queen), as well as a ladder-access open loft (one queen, one twin, and one futon), and sleeps 5 comfortably. The lower apartment has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a queen bed ) and sleeps 4 comfortably. There is an outdoor fire pit and roasting sticks for making s'mores and hotdogs. The NeighborhoodThe cabin is in the upper village, which is one of the most desirable locations on the mountain and less than a five minute walk to the village centre. We have excellent ski-in access and moderate ski-out access via the Bullet chair (a quad chair which is also the main lift open for night skiing). Getting AroundAccessing the runs: •Ski out: ski down the hill from our cabin, turn left on the road (Wolverine) and walk about half a block to access the runs off the Bullet chair (or walk up the CAT track below the cabin to access the runs. •Ski in: Follow the CAT track that runs from “Highway 33/Easy Street” (off the Bullet Chair), behind the Fire Hall and the Greystoke to the bottom of our property. Snow removal • The roadside parking is plowed and maintained. Moving your car during your stay enables the plow to have access to the entire area. The parking area is shared with neighbours and our cabin is allocated 2 parking spots. • There are shovels/brooms to clear the steps inside the entrance area. If used – please ensure that they are returned - otherwise we don't find them until the spring! Other Things to NoteThe cabin is off set from the road and luggage must be transported from the road side parking to the cabin (approximately 250 feet) via sled. There is no internal access between the suites. The cabin is well equipped with slow cookers, Tassimo machines, coffee makers, and roasting pans in each apartment. The loft is ladder access only - kids typically love it - it is like sleeping in a tree house!

After the ski day is over you can relax in the spacious hot tub or walk a few steps to a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops. The NeighborhoodThis unit is a very short walk to everything in the village and yet it is far enough away from the restaurants and bars that you are not impacted with their noise. The SpaceOur 2 bedroom condo has two queen sized beds and two twin murphy beds (the kids LOVE them!). The balcony has a lovely south facing view where you can comfortably view the Saturday night fireworks. We love coming here to hang out and create wonderful memories. There is a great selection of board games, puzzles, DVD's and a Wii which is set up to stream Netflix. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a coffee maker, coffee grinder, waffle maker, electric frying pan, blender and hot air popper (talk about going old school!). There are also a selection of staples such as hot chocolate, tea, sugar, flour, spices, oil and the odd can of soup to get you started. The pantry has additional linens and a new (fall 2015) washer and dryer. The bathroom has a steam shower, in case you don't feel like going down to the 6th floor to have a soak in the hot tub. This condo also adjoins to a studio unit which, when rented together, can accommodate 10 people. Guest AccessThere is a shared hot tub and sauna on the sixth floor in the games room, which also has a shuffle board, ping pong table and air hockey table. There is also a library on the 6th floor, complete with board games, puzzles and books, for those who want to have some quiet time. This unit also comes with underground parking. The ski out is down the hall and out the exit door. It connects to 'Moguls Track' which feeds into the bottom of the Perfection run which takes you to the Plaza Chair, Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost lifts. You'll be riding a lift before you can say 'epic pow!'. Interaction with GuestsI can be contacted via cell. There are also on-site managers (Jill and Warren) during the ski season. A lock box on the exterior wall of the parking garage houses a building key and the condo uses a key code which will be provided. The parking pass and additional building keys are in the condo. The NeighborhoodThe Moguls building is a family friendly building located in the upper village at Big White and is a 5 minute walk to the village centre. It's close enough for the kids to run down to the candy store but far enough away that you can't hear the party at 'Snowshoe Sam's'. Our building managers, Jill and Warren, take pride in ensuring that the quiet time of 11pm to 8am is strictly enforced. And, they are very helpful if you ever forget your key. :-) Getting AroundBig White is approximately 1 hour from the city of Kelowna and approximately 1 1/2 hour from the airport. When arriving from the airport, shuttles are available and will drop you off at the building. You can also hire a private shuttle which will make stops (i.e. grocery store) before taking you up to Big White. While Big White is known for it's 'champagne powder', did you know that it is now open during the summer for hiking? On the weekends, ride the Bullet Chair (for a fee) and hike down 'the Cliff' on marked hiking trails which run along Rhonda Lake. Located an hour from Kelowna, Big White is generally 10 degrees cooler than Kelowna and is approximately 20 minutes from Idabel Lake where you can swim, fish and rent canoes. To get around the resort, there is a shuttle which makes various stops around the resort. Other Things to NoteWe always keep a stock of staples, which you are welcome to. Every year, a friend gives me locally grown, pesticide free grapes which I make into grape jelly. Please feel free to help yourself and take a jar home, if you like. There are also four sledders on the balcony for the kids to use, just be sure to use them responsibly.

        Come stay at Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Ski in and ski out from this beautifully furnished 2 bedroom chalet. Beautifully appointed including your own private outdoor hot tub. This chalet is fully furnished and tastefully decorated. Great views of the Monashee Mountains in the background with the ski trail directly in front of the chalet. We work hard to ensure that our mountain home meets or exceeds your expectations. Three of our bedrooms are dedicated wholly to that use: the Master Bedroom & the two Guest Bedrooms. The Theatre and Game Room are our flexible bedrooms, meaning that the rooms can easily serve as being both entertainment areas and private bedrooms. While cleverly designed and hidden, the beds in both of those rooms are custom-made and permanent. Also, the bedding/mattresses are of the same exceptional quality as the dedicated bedrooms.
