We live nearby and will be available to answer any questions guests may have - at any time. The key pad door entry allows travelers to self check-in and arrive late/leave early, if needed. Please enter through the garage door on the side of the home. Interaction with GuestsWe'd love to meet you, but understand if you'd like your privacy. Please reach out if you are looking for a great place for dinner or delicious fresh-roasted coffee in the morning. Or if you need ideas for entertainment and activities in the Billings/Red Lodge area, we can definitely help. The NeighborhoodDowntown Billings is only a 5 minute drive away and has some amazing entertainment options. In the heart of Downtown, there is a small independent movie theater, Art House Cinema & Pub, which has one screen showcasing two different films a week. There is also an old bus station turned into a live music venue and taproom, called The Pub Station. There are some fantastic restaurants located downtown as well - one of our favorites is The Fieldhouse Cafe, serving local and sustainable sourced food with everything made from scratch. Sunday brunch is the best. If you like books and modern architecture, the new Billings Public Library is a must-see as well.
As mentioned earlier, there is an elementary school across the street as well as a public park one block away. Up the street, within walking distance, is an incredible little tea house, Boston Harbor Teas. And about 7 blocks beyond on Grand Avenue is a local coffee shop, Off the Leaf, which serves delicious freshly roasted coffee and pastries. Getting AroundThis cottage is centrally located - very quick access to I-90, the airport, hospitals, and downtown. City bus lines are only two blocks away, but have limited route/time options. Bus schedules can be found online at the MET Transit City of Billings website. Parking is available in the driveway, in the attached garage, or on the street in the front and side of the house. Other Things to NoteWe are in currently in process of landscaping the yard, pouring a concrete patio, and replacing the old fence. The fence is loose in a few places, however, it is still secure for containing pets and children. We hope to complete some of these outdoor projects by late summer/early fall of 2016.
