Built to traditional European style by a Byron Shire local architecture ‘The Barn’ features beautiful recycled exposed timbers. The large featured beams in the luxurious open plan lounge and dining area were sourced from an old Bryant and May match stick factory. The sealed brick floor is a beautiful feature following in the traditional European style. The Barn’s doors fully open to allow and invite the open space and sounds of nature within. A self catering kitchen, laundry and bathroom are all on the lower level which opens out onto a sunny paved area that includes relaxing outside dining and bbq. The romantic upstairs master bedroom features a lush elegant four poster bed, pitched timber ceiling and polished timber floors. The ground floor semi detached bedroom features a beautiful solid timber sleigh bed and antique wardrobe. Lush quality linen bedding is provided plus electric blankets during the winter months. Enjoy complimentary champagne on arrival plus toiletries and towels are provided for your stay. The Barn has been set up to very comfortably accommodate 2 adult couples. We love children, however The Barn is not suitable for young children. We can accommodate children over 10 and very young babies. The SpaceAbercorn Studio is a self contained and private apartment set below a beautiful Queenslander home, 5km from Bangalow. It's a north facing light & airy space which is stylishly decorated in a Modern Country theme. It has a full kitchen, very comfortable pillow top queen bed and private bathroom. The living and dining areas are very relaxing. It was fully renovated in April 2015. There is free WIFI, the kitchen has a microwave, washing machine and bar fridge. There is no oven or dishwasher. There is an outdoor dining area, Weber BBQ and a lap pool which the hosts use and guests can share. Guest AccessGuests have separate access to their apartment, from a designated parking area. The surrounding garden is manicured and designed to ensure privacy for guests. Interaction with GuestsGuests live independently of the host. However, if there are any queries we are available at all times. The NeighborhoodAbercorn is 5 minutes from the historic village of Bangalow, which is full of cafes and restaurants, very stylish shops (shoes, giftware, exotic rugs) and a great pub. The small village of Newrybar is also only 5 kms away. Harvest Cafe, Deli & Bakery has placed Newrybar firmly on the gastronomy map - its dedication to local produce and fresh flavours ensures it is constantly fully booked. It is definitely worth a visit, even if you only have time for a coffee. Newrybar also has a wonderful antique shop, clothes shops and farm produce - should you need some hay! The beaches of Byron Bay are 15 minutes away and are beautiful year round. Getting AroundYou will need your own car as this a rural environment and there is no public transport.

The SpaceBethany Bed and Breakfast is a quiet tranquil romantic, peaceful and beautiful place that we are lucky enough to call home. We have three suites available each with their own private entrance and space so you are part of our home but also very private. The beauty of Bethany is difficult to describe. Set high on a hill in the lush Byron Bay hinterland the views are magnificent. Sunsets are a performance every evening. Then when the sun goes down the twinkling lights of the surrounding villages can be seen or even better, the Milky Way will amaze you. Our suites are designed to make you feel pampered and relaxed. We pride ourselves on our bath lotions and potions. Breakfasts can be ordered and are brought to your room so you don't even have to get out of bed. A typical breakfast (depending on what is available at the local Bangalow Farmers Markets might be freshly squeezed orange juice, home made muesli with fresh fruit and greek yoghurt, pesto and tomato tart and organic fruit bread. The rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, plunger coffee and tea, plates, cutlery etc. Each room has a queen bed and a single bed, ironing facilities, double spa bath and balcony. The price listed is per suite/ per night. Note it is not for all three suites. Guest AccessApart from their room guests have access to an outdoor table area with music and a portable barbecue can be arranged. Interaction with GuestsMost of our guests prefer their privacy and with the separate entrance they come and go as they please. Sunset always sees us with a glass of wine at the common outdoor table and guests are always welcome to join us. The NeighborhoodThe Byron Bay hinterland is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It has great natural beauty and a community full of vibrant, interesting creative individuals, many of whom have left the big city to find a simple more rewarding lifestyle. There are so many beautiful country towns to explore and the roads that you drive along to get there are so beautiful you really don't mind if you get there at all. Bangalow village is a must see, however. Its a wonderful historic village full of fabulous lifestyle boutiques and great restaurants. Getting AroundBethany is situated 5 mins drive from the nearest villages of Bangalow or Newry bar and 15 minutes from the beaches of Byron and Broken Head. You really do need a car to get yourself around. Taxis are available if you are going out to dinner or a function.

Pegasus Park is only 15 minutes to Byron Bay and 3 minutes to Bangalow here you will find excellent restaurants,coffee and great shops to explore.Were only 50 mins to tweed heads and 1hr 30mins to Gold Coast where there's plenty of shops & even a casino and of course your only a short drive to some of the best & isolated beaches in Australia. We are also close to Minyon Falls where you will see the great national park and waterfall. Also have markets at Bangalow every weekend the best market around The best though will be waking up in the morning looking out your bedroom window and seeing horses Pegasus park equestrian is nestled in the hills of Bangalow .to find us You go to Bangalow than follow the road to Lismore for 3 kms than you will see a cross road called Friday hut rd turn left than it's the second driveway on the right with the brick piers & letterbox the number is 946 There is plenty of parking available.     The SpaceGreen Duck Cottage is a self-contained abode on our 2.7 acre property in Binna Burra. Our lovely cottage contains everything you might need for a restful break. The separate bedroom has a gorgeous queen size bed with lovely linen and towels. There is a desk in the bedroom with an ethernet cable to access the internet from your laptop but no large downloads please. The bedroom also has a large flat screen TV. The living space contains a small dining table and chairs; fully equipped kitchen with medium sized fridge, dishwasher, hotplates and microwave (but no oven); and sofa and another television which has Netflix. Off the living space is the toilet/small vanity and shower room. The cottage also has a good sized deck with table and chairs. The cottage comfortably fits 2 adults sharing the queen size bed. There is also a porta-cot and highchair available on request. Animal lovers will love our property with the opportunity to see many species of birds and if you are lucky koalas, wallabies and echidna. We also have 3 dogs, a big ginger cat, chickens and ducks (some green of course). The Cottage is situated well away from the house but you are always welcome to come up to the house if you need anything. Extra Features. As well as the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and Broken Head, Binna Burra is ideally located to explore nearby rain-forests, waterfalls and the villages of the Byron hinterland. Bangalow has a small supermarket, butcher, post office, bottle shop, video shop and of course many wonderful cafes, restaurants and clothing and gift stores. Saturday mornings, we recommend you visit the Bangalow Farmer's Market to taste and indulge in the delicious produce of this region. Getting AroundThere is no public transport to Binna Burra and you will need a car to explore our wonderful beaches and hinterland. Other Things to NoteParking for one car is available approximately 100 meters from the cottage and access to the cottage is a via a gravel path. Anam Cara is only a 10 minute drive from the quaint and charming village of Bangalow, and 25 minutes from the vibrant energy and beautiful beaches of Byron Bay. During the week there are a handful of local farmers markets in the nearby towns full of lush local produce, or if you find yourself here on a weekend, you can spend your Sunday listening to live music and perusing the eclectic and abundant markets. If you are seeking a more peaceful retreat away, you can spend your days wandering the quiet country roads, watching magical sunsets, and visiting nearby waterholes and rainforests. We will be more than happy to recommend some lovely and out of the way restaurants and cafes, or perhaps a yoga class or massage. Local Information Where to get supplies -Fresh Produce oThe Bangalow Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from 8am until 11am in the Bangalow Hotel car park. It is a great little market with various local growers selling super-fresh seasonal produce plus a collection of artisanal food producers. There is often live music often playing. oThe Mullumbimby Farmers Market is held every Friday morning at the Showgrounds from 7am until 11am. It is the largest produce market in the region (largely organic) and also had a wide selection of local value-added foods. oIn Talofa, along Bangalow Road just on the other side of the Pacific Highway from Bangalow, there is a farm on the left that you can often buy fresh berries from directly and a produce stand on the right called Fresh As which sells a range of local produce including produce grown on-site (the set-up is pretty basic but it’s worth popping in and supporting some young famers). The drive towards Byron Bay from here is spectacular too. oThe Green Garage is a great fruit and vegetable store with a good range of deli and grocery products. It stocks many local goods. 63 Tennyson Street Byron Bay. oThe Bangalow Foodworks has everything you need at a reasonable price and quality. oThe Clunes General Store is a character-filled shop with a small selection local produce, fresh sourdough bread from The Bread Social, grocery basics and booze. There is a good coffee shop next door, which also does amazing wood-fired pizzas on Thursday nights from 5pm. -Good Bread and Pastries oSparrow Coffee in Bangalow sells wonderful sourdough bread and pastries (they often sell out). Their coffee is the best in town too. They are an offshoot of Harvest Café & Deli. Shop 1A, 32–34 Byron Street, Bangalow. oHarvest Café & Deli makes amazing organic wood-fired sourdoughs & pastries. The café and deli are worth visiting – a great place for a sit-down meal or to collect goodies to enjoy at home. 18-22 Old Pacific Highway, Newrybar. oThe Bread Social at The Farm Byron Bay makes wonderful sourdoughs and pastries - just part of the reason why it’s one of the region’s top destinations. (The bread is also often available at the Clunes General Store). 11 Ewingsdale Rd, Ewingsdale. -Meat oHerne's Butchery on the main street of Bangalow is fantastic, but it does close early. If you miss him, the Clunes Meat Market is also good (57 Main St, Clunes – on the right-hand side of the road on the outskirts of the village). -Fresh Seafood oThe best place to buy super fresh, local seafood is Northern Rivers Seafood. They have their own boats that deliver their catch directly to the shop. They are located at 480 River St, Ballina. oThe Bay Seafood Market in Byron Bay is good too (7 Lawson Street). oThe Brunswick Heads Fishermen’s Co-op is also good and located on the beautiful Brunswick River. The village of Brunswick Heads itself is worth exploring. -Asian ingredients oThe Red Ginger in Bangalow sells a good range of Asian ingredients including things like fresh rice noodles, deep fried tofu, Asian greens, miso paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, frozen dim sims, etc. It’s located just off the main street on Station Street on the verandah behind “Our Corner Store”. They also have a branch on Jonson Street in Byron Bay. -Groceries oThe Bangalow Foodworks has everything you need. oThe Super IGA on Sunrise Boulevard in the Byron Bay Arts and Industrial Estate is a larger grocery store. oSantos Organics is a great natural grocer with a large range of organic and all-natural products. A funky hipster hangout serving delicious, wholesome and interesting food and drinks. 10 Station St, Bangalow. -Domo Café. Great sushi and innovative Japanese food run by Japanese expats. Great local hot spot. Beautiful drive (go towards Clunes and turn right onto Springvale Road … the bridge close to Binna Burra is closed so you cannot get through that way). 3-6 Albert St, Federal. -Our Corner Kitchen. Good coffee and food (the tapioca breakfast is delicious). Located behind their homewares store Our Corner Store. 3/38 Byron St, Bangalow. -The Italian Diner. Yummy fish and chips right on the beach in Byron. 1 Jonson St, Byron Bay.   Villages -Bangalow: excellent mix of food, homewares, clothes, books and gifts. Don’t miss Bisque, Poet, Our Corner Store, Millars & More, Sparrow Coffee, Woods … to name just a few! -Newrybar: Harvest Café & Deli plus a couple of lovely homewares and clothing stores. -Brunswick Heads: Buzzing village with wonderful boutiques and cafes in stunning riverside/beach location. For food we recommend The Footbridge Café, Yami, Fleet, and the Fish Co-op. -Mullumbimby: eclectic, alternative town with some lovely boutiques and cafes. Fantastic farmers market every Friday. -Byron Bay: tourist mecca with stunning beaches. Worth going at sunset to listen to the hippie drummers and watch the colourful characters dancing as the sun drops behind the mountains over the bay (near the beach in front of Fishheads). Great clothes shopping. Nature -The Booyong Flora Reserve: further down Booyong Road from the cottage is a 13-hectare sub–tropical forest that is a remnant of the original “Big Scrub” which once covered the Northern Rivers area. You can do a short bush walk here and read about the flora and history. -Beaches: the closest beach is Suffolk Park, followed by Broken Head and Byron Bay. Wategoes beach in Byron is beautiful; as is the mouth of the river in Brunswick Heads. For a more adventurous trip, explore some of the hidden beaches along Seven Mile Beach Road – they seem a world away from the buzz of Byron. -Minyon Falls lookout in the Nightcap National Park offers stunning views of the waterfall, rainforest and coast, with opportunities for picnics and barbecues. Beautiful country drives -Drive Mullumbimby via Myocum and then on to Brunswick Heads. Head into Bangalow and then drive along the highway towards Byron Bay but turn left at the top of the hill onto Coolamon Scenic Drive, take a right onto Possum Shoot Road and head down the hill, turn left onto Myocum Road and follow it through the valley until ends, turn right and head into Mullumbimby. Follow the signs on to Brunswick Heads. -Drive to Byron Bay over Haytters Hill. Head straight through Bangalow, continue straight under the Pacific Highway and along Bangalow Road until it ends, then follow the signs into Byron. -Drive to Federal via Springvale Road, past Eureka. Then head back to Bangalow along Coolamon Scenic Drive. Gorgeous views and lots of honesty boxes where you can collect farm fresh local goodies. Getting AroundIt is best to have your own transportation. Buses and taxis are available. Other Things to NoteLaundry If you need to do laundry during your stay, a washing machine, dryer and drying rack are provided under the house near the car park. Powder and pegs are also provided. BBQ A BabyQ Weber BBQ is stored under the house next to the laundry near the car park. Please bring it out onto the lawn in front of the cottage when you wish to use it and return it afterwards. Fireplace Please take care when using the fireplace – it is made from cast iron and gets very hot when running. Ensure that the door to the fireplace is always securely closed when you are not placing wood inside it and that the safety screen is always erected in front of the fireplace. Never place items on top of the fireplace or let items touch or lean against its sides. The vents at the bottom of the fireplace control its temperature – when they are fully open the fire is hottest and when they are closed the fire is coolest. If you are going to be away from the cottage please ensure that the fire is either completely or almost extinguished and close the vents at the bottom of the fireplace fully before leaving. Firewood and kindling are provided - please let us know if you require more during your stay. A fire extinguisher is located in the cupboard under the sink. Call us immediately if there is a fire related problem ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)). Cleaning Fork & Fallow Cottage should be left essentially as you found it. We understand that it will become 'lived in' during your stay, but leaving it in an outright mess will incur additional charges. Beds and furniture should not be moved from the location you find them in. There should be no dirty dishes in the kitchen – please use the dishwasher and dishwashing powder located under the sink. We allow 3 hours for a clean after each stay, additional time spent cleaning will be charged at $75 + gst per hour. To help keep to the 3-hour cleaning budget it is of great help if you are able to strip the bed of dirty linen.

          The SpaceThe space is big enough to have a cosy time in all areas like kitchen lounge and bedroom. While not being too big! The deck and bath is a great spot to be outside while staying around the house. It's so peaceful out here. There's a moment of bird song at sunrise and sunset. Interaction with GuestsAfter the initial welcome I am mostly into letting you be but should you need anything I'm not too far away. The NeighborhoodI love the tranquility of this little pocket of the world and feel it's perfect as a retreat and connection spot with nature but when venturing out is needed it's not too far to get some other things happening. Under 10 minutes to Bangalow and 20 minutes to byron bay. Kilen Falls is 10 minutes down the road and if your needing to be in the middle from nimbin or minyon falls to mount warning -this is the spot ! Getting AroundNo public transport so a car is absolutely necessary

            Fork and Fallow Cottage is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland. Located on an idyllic 120-acre farm with uninterrupted views of rolling green hills, tree-lined creeks and cattle grazing on lush pasture. The cottage offers countryside tranquility with proximity to the region’s top destinations. The iconic village of Bangalow is just 10-minutes drive away, with Byron Bay a further 10-minutes on. Its central location means villages like Newrybar, Brunswick Heads, Federal and Mullumbimby are all within 25-minutes. The cottage itself is a newly renovated 1890s coach house, with stunning cathedral ceiling, rough-hewn exposed beams, and polished floorboards. A magnificent two meter-square northeast-facing window fills the open-planned space with natural light and sweeping countryside views. Its rustic charm is enhanced with quality fittings and modern conveniences. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal using the region’s incredible fresh produce and artisan products. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a mix of antiques and modern pieces, plus luxury bedding, linen and towels. In addition to a queen-sized bed, there is a Danish designer couch which converts into a comfortable double bed and extra bedding can be provided upon request.
