The Hay Barn is a 17th Century detached barn conversion in the grounds of Humblebee Hall and is surrounded by 70 acres, just outside the village of North Piddle in Worcestershire. The cottage contains one single bedroom, one twin and one double room with an ensuite shower room which with the addition of a family bathroom makes this cottage suitable for five people. The Accommodation in locally made Shepherds Huts and Wedding venue has views across the Lake and Golf Course. Waters Edge is an ideal place to relax in the Vale of Evesham and can cater for couples, small or large groups. Guests can sleep in the Shepherd Huts and/or bring their own tents. The main brick built building houses showers and toilets and a Lodge ideal for weddings, christenings and events. Guest AccessThere is ample parking and space for a marquee if required. The shepherd’s huts sleep 2 people; you may bring a tent if you require more accommodation. There are hot showers and modern toilet facilities in the lovely lodge a few minutes’ walk away. The lodge lends its self to be a fantastic venue for a DIY wedding reception with the backdrop of the lake. Just think of the money you can save and the free choice of caters.           The SpaceLight and airy with three large reception rooms, Stratford House will easily accommodate a large group and allow separate areas for example for kids to play. The feel is clean and modern, recently decorated and with pet friendly wooden flooring downstairs and new bathrooms and carpets upstairs. The front garden is enclosed with high hedges and can be secured with double gates on the driveway. Guest AccessAccess to the house and gardens is full except for loft areas. Dogs must be kept to rooms with wooden flooring please. No access is possible to garage. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available via mobile to assist with any issues and a caretaker is available within the village. The NeighborhoodThe village of Upton Snodsbury is small but charming with it's 13th Century church and chocolate box cottages, it's well worth a walk around. There is a play area in the village (5 mins walk) - Upton Snodsbury Park. The park has a children’s play area, a petanque court, a five-aside football area, three bicycle humps, a shelter, benches, picnic tables, paths and a small car park. There is also a wild area which may be turned into an environmental area eventually, but is currently very popular and being used for den building and other non-organised play. Just across the road is a pedestrian lane leading to a football field and beyond miles of woodland and country trials perfect for safe walking or biking accessible all year round . Spetchley Gardens (fairs, plants, spectacular historical re-enactments) is just five minutes drive or a long walk away. Crome Gardens (National Trust) is a short drive. The location of Stratford House is great for access to the whole region. There is so much to see and do locally - to the south and east Worcester Cathedral / Pershore Abbey both with beautiful riverside attractions, pretty Evesham, the gateway to the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty. Also classy shopping in Cheltenham and historic Gloucester are within easy reach - not to mention the world class tourists destinations of Stratford Upon Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace) and magnificent Warwick Castle. To the north and are Birmingham, CadburyWorld, Black Country Museum, West Midlands Safari Park and Drayton Manor Park and Zoo for the roller coaster enthusiasts of all ages. East is the M5 corridor offering easy access to further afield Tewkesbury, Stroud and Bristol as well as closer to home Malvern Hills, beautiful Monmouth, Symonds Yat, Forest of Dean and Hereford. Getting AroundBuses to Worcester are available about 100 yards from the front gate and so you can walk and eat locally without using a car if you wish. Nearest train station 5 miles (Pershore) has service to London. Malvern, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Tewkesbury and Pershore (both with Abbeys), Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and the beautiful Cotswolds area are all within easy reach from this wonderful quiet, rural, but central base for your holiday or break.
