The NeighborhoodBlouberg beachfront is the perfect gazing spot - where the landmark table-like picture of the Table Mountain is often taken from.
Bloubergstrand is a very popular surfing beach and kite spot. It features a lovely promenade that's great for jogging, walking or simply hanging out. A cluster of restaurants give you many dining options, and even further along the coast, one finds plenty more eateries.
Blouberg is also the gateway to explore the West Coast where one discovers much of the hidden treasures of the Cape. There are lovely quaint villages reminiscent of early countrylife. The region is rich in flora, and one can enjoy a scenic drive all the way to Saldanha Bay, where more villages with active fishermen and seafarers are located Getting AroundCycling is Cape Town's preferred site seeing method, and with dedicated or demarcated bicycle tracks all the way into the city - Cape Town has to be one of the safest, cycling-friendly cities in the country Other Things to NoteAll rates are quoted per person, and a R150/night supplement is levied for an additional person if sharing the same room, or R599 if occupying a separate room. While pop-in guests are welcome, no in-house entertaining or sleepovers are allowed. We have a relationship with several establishments who have great 2-party or group entertaining facilities in the neighbourhood and we'll be happy to recommend.
