Or just relax and lounge on the back deck or in the yard and listen to the soothing sounds of Lost Creek. You can also find a trail down to the creek or go exploring in the forest.
Enjoy the scenery from the large picture windows in the living room and dining room. The skylight in the entryway, and the tubular daylights in the kitchen bring natural light into the house.

There are two houses on the property. The second house is across the driveway, and is home to Carol, Phil, and Sabrina (their 12 year old golden retriever). Carol and Phil are super friendly, and will be there to greet you when you arrive and make sure your needs are met. Sabrina is also very friendly. She is an older dog who loves to nap, go for walks in the forest, and loves to be petted. She's a people person.
Occasionally, Oliver, our pointer/husky puppy is visiting as well. He is a well behaved 1 1/2 year old puppy and loves to run around and play. He also loves barking. We are working very hard on this with him. Once he gives you a few barks, he is quieter, very friendly, playful and an all around good pup. He especially loves to play with other dogs. He's a dog's dog.
We allow one, well behaved, house broken dog. Dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture. More than one dog must be communicated prior to arrival and will require a pet cleaning fee of $25- $50, depending on the size and breed of dogs. Interaction with GuestsPlease don't hesitate to ask Carol or Phil if you have any questions, or encounter any problems during your stay. They will be present while you are there, but they are modest and quiet, keep to themselves, and will leave you to have your own experience while staying at Lost Creek Hideaway. DVDs are located in both sides of the cabinets in the TV stand in the living room. VHS tapes and DVD/VCR are located in the bunk room.
Since this house is new to us, we do not have any firewood to use this winter. The wood that is stacked is fresh green wood. Please don't use it for fires and allow it to dry until next winter.
