Palo Verde PermaFarm is situated on 13 acres in the Palo Verde Valley just minutes from the Colorado River in sunny Southern California. The farm dates back over 100 years and has historically been farmed in alfalfa. However, we are diversifying into vegetables, fruit, nuts, and berries, as well as cattle and poultry. All have taken very well here and there is a yearlong abundance of delicious food to enjoy.
Our vintage farmhouse has been fully remodeled while preserving its original charm. Furnishings and decor have been carefully selected to create a relaxing farm cottage ambiance. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 kings and 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has satellite TV. There is also a spacious kitchen and living room, as well as large laundry/utility room, and dining area. Outdoor living space on front and rear porches as well. The hot tub provides a truly relaxing experience while you stare at night at the stars.
Palo Verde Permafarm is truly an oasis of lush trees and green fields against the desert mountain backdrop. The primary irrigation canal for the entire valley runs alongside the property and provides opportunities for fishing and cooling off during the warm season. The city of Blythe is just minutes away and offers shopping, dining, and transportation services. Local recreation opportunities include the Colorado river, hiking, gem/rock hunting, and community festivals
