The Lahser House,( formerly the Bokeelia Tarpon Inn) is located at the northern tip of Pine Island overlooking the waters of Charlotte Harbor in SW Florida, just a short drive, or boat ride, to Fort Myers,Cape Coral, Boca Grande, Sanibel/Captiva,and the Gulf of Mexico. Built in 1914 the house has been recently renovated to combine the ole Florida feel while providing all the amenities of a modern luxury home. The house is available to rent by the week or month and for Special Events only.

The SpaceThe cozy Kabanita sits on a SECLUDED property among palm grove fields. It offers a stellar garden view with 275 square feet of air conditioned tranquility. The private entrance leads you into a studio-style room with a comfortable king size bed. The room is also equipped with a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a television with DVD player & Netflix access. The closest neighboring home is 1/2 mile away, allowing our guests to come up-close & personal with nature right on premises. Wild peacocks visit our garden on a daily basis! This peaceful retreat is near a private yoga studio, a 17 mile path for walking or biking and a public heated pool. The water off this rural island offers some of the best fishing in Florida. The barrier islands offer beautiful beaches for swimming, fishing or shelling...and they're only a short boat ride away! Kayaking is also very popular in this coast, as it offers many opportunities to come one with nature along the trails of mangroves and calm waters. Aerial tours and parachuting are available at the local private airport. A colorful collection of cottages in the nearby historic district are actually art galleries that show a nice variety of local and even international artists. Many great experiences to be had in this small village, with live music, fresh seafood and gorgeous bayside views! There are also many hiking and biking options available within the 17 mile stretch of the main island. Amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from a pier, the beach or on a sailboat ride. Each apartment has a full kitchen stocked with everything you might need (minus food). The NeighborhoodThe Malu Lani is on a no through access road (Bocilla Ln) in Bokeelia. The neighborhood is quiet and is a private retirement community. While driving down Bocilla Ln on the north side is Charlotte Harbor (big open water) and the south side is Pirates cove (sheltered water) Getting AroundWalking, Bicycles, Boats and Automobiles.

The SpaceThis property is a beautiful two and a half acres, three bedroom two bath single family home with a large open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, open kitchen with plenty of counter space, stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, pocket sliding glass doors allowing for an unobstructed view of the heated pool and decorative waterfall. The master bathroom boast a walk-in shower for two, a garden tub and a his and hers vanity. This home is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. A must see to believe. this property is conveniently located just five blocks from Pineland Marina, kayak launches, Tarpon Lodge, Alven Pines Country Club golf course, local fishing guides and much more. The best part about island living is when you leave it and venture out to the local waters of Pine Island Sound. Once on the water, you are minutes away from Sanibel, Captiva, Cayo Costa (a state park) Boca Grand Pass, Cabbage Key and much more. For those who fish, we need not say more. Come fish for Tarpon, Red fish, Sea Trout, Shark, Cobbia, Permit , sight see free swimming dolphins and manatees.       This secluded island home, offers comfort in a tropical wilderness environment, on the unbridged 2,000 acre Cayo Costa Island State Park. The home is 1,500 sq.ft. with 1,000 sq.ft. of decks. The home is off the power grid and is powered by solar and propane. The first floor of this elevated home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with two outside showers. There is a large deck connecting the two bedrooms that have king size beds. All of the first floor has Gulf views above the palm trees and the island. The second story sleeping room and upper deck has 360 views of the Gulf, Pine Island Sound, Charlotte Harbor and the entire island. You have quick access to the beach 300 yard in front of house by walking or taking one of two all terrain vehicles to the healing waters of the Gulf of Mexico and 9 miles of sandy beach where there is world class fishing and shelling. Or you can just slow down and listen to the natural sounds of the island sitting 50 feet above sea level on the upper deck. House comes with dock on the bayside. Owner can provide round trip transport from the airport and to the island. Rates are for 4 adults, children stay free and $25 extra/night for each adult over 4 staying at the house. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change. The 3 story home is located on Cayo Costa Island State Park. This island is in Southwest Florida within Lee County. The unbridged island is 2,000 acres, 99% owned by the State of Florida. It is 7 miles long and has 9 miles of undeveloped beaches. This tropical pristine island is in a completely natural state and is the largest undeveloped island in Florida. The house has been called a luxury wilderness beach house. It has most of the modern conveniences in a home in a very remote location. You will be staying on a real island with no connections to the mainland. You will have quick access to a natural beach (300 yards in front of house) where shelling, beachcombing and swimming are some of the best in the world. There is easy access to catch snook, redfish, trout, whiting, pompano, mullet, cobia, snapper, flounder and grouper. World class fishing for tarpon off the beach or in Boca Grande Pass at the north end of the island. An uncrowded life with peace and quiet might be the best benefit of all. The State Park Headquarters on the island has a small camp store and park Interpretive Center about the island. The house comes with a dock and transportations to the island is by boat only.
