The SpaceThe room is very basic, equipped with a single bed, a desk, curtains and power sockets. Guest AccessThe entire house (except storage room and my bedroom) are accessible to guests. You will especially appreciate the living room, the terrace and the garden! You can also use the fridge and the gas cooker. Interaction with GuestsUsually I am home to help you with all questions and requests. When I am not there, Elise can help you out! The NeighborhoodIt is a quiet neighbourhood yet very central. I live across the road from the son of Benin's first president and within walking distance you will find little tchouc bars, convenient shops, some eat-houses, and even two swimming pools.
The mountain next door is ideal for hiking/walking into nature. Getting AroundYou can park your motorbike in my garage, a car in front of my house. If you don't have your own transportation, I can introduce you to guides (with car or motorbike) for excursions and transport.
The bus station is out of town, less than 1000f CFA by zem (motortaxi) but there is also a car station situated at the roundabout, 2.5km away. Other Things to NoteNatitingou suffers powercuts and watercuts. I am prepared for the latter with enough water to sustain some elephants, but for the former we make do with solar lighting outside, a rechargeable light and candles inside.
