The SpacePrivate room
The guests will have a separate guestroom with 160/190 cm bed (pillow, blanket, bedclothes and towels are available). Unexpected visitors of the guest/s are not welcome! S/He has a separate bathroom with toilet and shower. My house has a no-smoking policy. But you may smoke on the terrace/garden. I can offer WiFi for free. And TV (DVD) is possible at the living room. I have 1 cat and 2 little Yorkshire-terrier, so the guests should like animals (and sometimes their barking at the night). On your part in my flat you can live and sleep however you are used to. But in respect to my neighbors, my housekeeper and me you should be careful with your nakedness on the house, my terrace and the garden. It means, minimum are shorts (for men) and Bikini (for girls). During breakfast/lunch/dinner where my mum is around, it would be nice, to wear a shirt also.
Either I do not host somebody only for one night (washing the linens and towels after only one use pollute the environment more than necessary!).
Sometimes there are more requests, so if the guest allowed, guests could sleep in my living room or at my office on my air-mattress (a single and a double one) or at the terrace at the couch. Also my Couchsurfing-guests.
But that additional persons must share my bathroom. That I would request extra during guests request.
I have a female housekeeper (Filipina) which is in my house from Mo-Fr 8 am - 4 pm. But it would be nice, if the guests take away there own dishes and trash and take a look for a clean guestroom (especially trash of food and bathroom). And it would be a nice sign, to bring a little gift (a country typical candy or chocolate or refrigerator magnet) for "my" Nora, she's the person, who prepare always the room before and after. And would wash your clothes by hand, if wished. (1 kg washing 150 PHP).
A massage could also be booked here, either a lady for pedicure/manicure.
Also available is the office equipment of me like fax, printers, copy machine, scanner. Guest AccessI live with my pets (2 Yorkshire Terrier, 1 cats) in a little town called Alcoy. From the terrace you will have a view to the sea, which is 80 m far away. I have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living-room, 1 office and a big terrace. The guest is situated in a small and separate guestroom (with ventilation) in form of a 160x190 cm bed (pillow, blanket, bedclothes and towels are available), an own bathroom with toilet and shower are available. It has an separate entry. Kitchen, living room and sun terrace are for co-use. Interaction with GuestsA lot of objects of interest on the island are convenient reachable by bus traffic (whaleshark watching, different waterfalls, Holy Shrine Mama Mary, Caves, ferry to Bohol, Sumilon and Negros), the most with a driving if 30-45 minutes. Because I have flexible time, I can offer in my ample spare time tips, sightseeing proposals and accompaniment, if it is wished-for. It's also possible, that I drive you around with my car (Isuzu Crosswind) or you could rent a scooter/bike for around 400 PHP(8€)/day (exclude gasoline).
I could also offer a GoPro Hero 3 or/and Cherry Action Cam for rent.
It's also possible that a lady for manicure/pedicure comes into the house, also a lady for massage. The NeighborhoodI live in a compound of 13 houses in European style. Their are all German/Swiss nationality. We have no security guard, but we are in a private street, so the area is secure. Getting Around100 m far away is a bus stop, where more or less every 20 minutes comes a bus in both directions.
For going to market/beach/neighbor village: the husband of my housekeeper is Tricycle driver and always willing to drive for a small amount, also are on the street during the day tricycle coming. After 6 pm it will be little bit harder to get one. Other Things to NoteIMPORTANT: When you stay in my house, all what you bring in and not eat must be in plastic bags/refrigerator/trash to be safe for ants (and my always hungry cat). So cleanliness in kitchen/eating areas/guest room is very important!
ATMs: We live here urban, that means there is in the neighbor town (10 km away) an ATM (no problems with VISA cards, but sometimes problems with MASTERcards) and a money changer. Sometimes it's out of order or empty. Then the next one is 1 hour drive away in Carcar. So best, when you bring money from the city. Also "small" money, not everybody could change 1000-php-billets, especially not on the market.
AirBnB offers also additional costs for room cleaning. the half of that is for washing the linnens and towels and costs of washing staff, the other half is going direct to my housekeeper Nora (She's the one, who's cleaning your room before, after and during your stay). It's up to you, to bring her a little gift from your home country, (like special candies or magnets for fridge...) as a little 'thank you'-gift.
