We're a 5 minute walk to Bondi Junction train and bus station for a 5 minute bus trip to iconic Bondi beach or 5 other equally beautiful eastern suburbs beaches. Its a 10 minute subway ride into Sydney city centre and the Opera House and breathtaking Sydney Harbour. Our house is in a quiet broad leafy street; with a lovely deli / coffee shop on the corner and the amenities of the Bondi Junction prestige shopping precinct including cinemas, designer shopping, groceries, and restaurants and bars from around the globe, and all in walking distance. Rear terrace has 6 seater bar table and stools and a swinging "egg" chair to relax in. The front terrace faces north and gets glimpses of Sydney Harbour and features a large and comfortable outdoor sofa and table setting as well as a fold-out clothesline. The smartly designed space receives natural cross-ventilation and is low down in the building on Level 1 so stays cool in Summer, without the need for noisy and intrusive A/C. In the colder months, the natural gas heater keeps the apartment warm and cosy. Guest AccessThe entire place will be available for your comfortable and pleasurable stay. Building has elevator access, foyer retail area, downstairs gym (private - entry payable), and a common rooftop area on the 14th floor with chairs and a barbecue which overlooks Sydney Harbour. In addition, it is home to the major transport interchange of the trendy Eastern Suburbs and the high-end Westfield Bondi Junction Shopping Centre, which is directly adjacent to the bus stands and train station. The atmosphere of the area is characterized by a pleasant blend of convenient inner city living matched with a relaxed and laid back style, being in such close proximity to Australia's most famous beach - Bondi Beach! In combination with the glamorous Westfield Shopping Centre, the area features several notable high end apartment developments and many trendy cafés and health bars, including the highly popular Paleo Cafe in the retail foyer of our very building. Getting AroundIt is just over 4km to Sydney Town Hall (the geographic centre of Sydney City), or a 15 minute train ride or 20 minute bus ride. From Sydney Airport it's approximately 25 minutes by cab or 30 minutes by train (including a change of lines at Central). Circular Quay and the ferries that can take you to Manly Beach and Taronga Zoo is an easy 18 minute train ride away. Bondi Beach is just over 3km away, also just 15 minutes by bus. An "Opal" card is highly recommended for longer stays or stays intensive on public transport use. The train and bus interchange along with Westfield are just 250-300m away and an easy 5 minute walk. Of course you are also well-served by many taxis too. The wonderful expanse of Centennial Park is just 800m away, or less than a 10 minute stroll. Westfield Bondi Junction Shopping Centre with all major retailers represented including all high end brands, with transportation hub for access to all of Sydney. Easy to get around without personal transport. Lots of parklands to go walking. Good Neighbourhood, and safe at night. Getting AroundBondi Junction Transport Hub 3 minutes walk, 10 mins by train to city, 100's of buses to choose from. Other Things to NoteFor Sports fans the Sydney Football Stadium and Sydney Cricket Grounds are 10 mins by bus or a beautiful 25 mins walk via Queen Street Woollahra or Centennial Park.

The SpaceOur two bedroom terrace house has been recently renovated and is a great place to be if you're visiting Sydney over summer. It's close to beaches, including Bondi, and very convenient to the city - near rail and buses. We're in a pretty and quiet street with a small park 50 metres away that kids love. Centennial park is 5 minutes walk away. The house has two large bedrooms. One has a king size double bed, the other has a single bed suitable for an adult or child. We have an inflatable mattress and a portacot for the second bedroom if you have two children. It has a modern and well equipped kitchen and a TV with HDD/DVD player/recorder, as well as wifi. The bathroom is best described as 'efficient' - it's small but new and clean. There's no bath though, only a shower. Makes us sad too! We had air conditioning installed this year, but the house stays pretty cool even in summer. Bondi Junction is a great place to live. There's plenty of good restaurants within walking distance with many cuisines represented. You can walk to the shops, including major supermarkets and a Westfield mall so large we call it the Death Star. We love living here and you will love staying. The SpaceThis three bedroom house is shared by my adult son, our friendly dog and myself. It is situated very close to Centennial Park, Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, shopping centre and train station, there are lots of cafes, bars and supermarkets in the area. We are very well positioned for access to the city, Bondi & Bronte Beach either by public transport, taxi or walk. The light and airy house has an open plan kitchen opening into a private courtyard with gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. It has a large formal dining room and lounge available for guests to use at any time. The modern shared bathroom is upstairs on the second level next to the bedroom it has a shower recess. There is also an internal laundry with a front loader washing machine and airing rack. The light and airy queen sized guest bedrooms have electric panel heaters and warm bedding and a fan in the summer. There is free wifi and a TV/DVD in the room. Tea, coffee and milk provided at all times and a light breakfast of cereals fruit and fresh bread and toast is provided in the morning. Two day minimum Guest AccessGuests can use the kitchen for simple food preparation, but cooking meals is not encouraged. There are plenty of local restaurants and takeaways. Guests are welcome to use the garden or dining area to eat and relax Interaction with GuestsI am offten around the house or garden and happy to help with ideas for trips and siteseeing. The NeighborhoodIt is a residential area and is very quiet and safe. Getting AroundTransport is terrific. It is a 10minute walk to the bus and 11 minutes to the train station which will take you all over Sydney. 25 mins to Circular Quay and the Opera House, 16mins via Uber. Looking for someone clean and tidy to rent my room. The room is spacious and beautiful with a little balcony and the most comfortable bed you ever slept in. The house is a gorgeous 3 bedrooms terrace in Woollahra - 5 minutes from Bondi Junction.
